Lol. Hackers! I always try to reason from other point of views. Supposed I was a hacker. What would I use my skills upon? Thus risking legal prosecution and jailtime. A bank institute where I could potentially rob millions or a game to make my smoke last 7 minutes instead of 4? As the matter of cheating: where there's a game, there's a cheat. It is as simple as that. No matter how hard you scream, shout or threaten.

Met purplesmurf this evening. Guess he didn't see me in chat. Was a godaweful battle. Our DD's are even starting to camp and kite as far away from the caps as possible! 1 went all the way to the side of the map, rushed to the direction of the enemy spawn, got cornered and blast away. In a Shimakaze....Edit: it wasn't him. he played a DD on the red side.

nambr: start low and go slow is the way to make the most out of this game... I made the mistake of grinding too fast myself.

Oh I'm having a ball in most low tier matches. I absolutely love the chaos and shell storms coming with that. I even don't mind my friendly DD's are a bigger danger than the reds are! Always like to learn newer players a trick or two. With the new RN line the time is right for me to start grinding the German BB line. And highly enjoying Kaiser!

With all respect. I see you don't have that much experience in T 8 yet with all the relevant ships (NC, Benson and Chapayev). My advice is to build up some more and wait untill going to T9. Otherwise maybe it will be a dissapointment no matter what your choice is. But if you want to pursue I'd advice you Iowa. I see you have a lot of BB experience. IMO Iowa is a very forgiving, well functioning BB which can deliver extreme hard punches. On the outside Iowa is very like the NC. But it just has that extra perks which make it a formidable ship.

I opened this suggestion a while ago. Didn't find much support then. But I am still highly infavor of this idea. Something like the captain skills: giving some more speed, turret traverse, faster reload time, faster plane servicing etc.

IMO the line is a complete disaster. When I meet a RN cruiser I'll go straight for it. Happily engage them in a knife fight even with DD's. Just angle and the AP shells bounce off like the costumors in that brothel OP was mentioning. I've 1 shot those cruisers dozens of times in BB's. That is quite more uncommon in other cruiserlines. I only see them camping behind islands and frantically popping their smoke when an enemy ship appears on the horizon.

Oh I think you do have a point there, Pony. With all respect to the CC's with their YT movies: they aren't really helping too. You only see them in some kind of "yolo solo quests" where they happen to be on the right spot, invisi firing 150k damage while the rest of their teams are struggling. I am firmly convinced those YT movies are that 1 in a 100 matches where it happens to turn out well by mere coincidence. My advice is to stick with the BB's and DD's and provide aid. Yes a cruiser is prone to get citadelled but a 1 shot deletion isn't that common in non-RN cruisers for that matter. And never ever give up if you get 1 hard punch on the sweet spot: it's not like the match is over by then! Another trick is to plan ahead before opening fire: like a DD: always consider your exit strategy and ask the question "is it necesarry to draw the attention now? Or can I wait a few more seconds and open up when I'm detected anyway?" The closer you get, the more damage you can deal. But also take (bear that in mind). Would be nice if WG put out more tutorials or make them easier to find if they're already there.

Maybe your purchase hadn't gone through in the server yet. Can't make up any other explanation. I have Anshan and I like it. Don't buy it if Soviet DD's aren't your cup. If they are it's a hell of a ship. Nice torp range too. One of the few "soviet" DD's which can torp from stealth. Be it a very short stealth range. (-; Oh, to be clear: it's for PanAsian captains only! I don't want to give the impression you can put in Soviet captains. Maybe Leningrad would be another option for you to consider. IMO those 2 ships are quite comparable. (No! Not the same before people start a riot at my doorstep. )

With 5 reports you'll get an official warning 10 = physical punishment 20 = jailtime 30 = death penalty Nothing happens. I don't know why the Karma system has been implied.Don't ask me how but somehow I managed to get 93 karmapoints... Found out people like it when you can show a sense of humor during a game. "Ah that fire is FINALLY put out. And I am immune to fires for the rest of the match!"

Well, being born in in a real naval country I must frankly admit from the bottom of my heart that the AN (Amature navy) doesn't dissapoint me at all. Look at them funny and delete/ extremely damage them in 99,9% of the cases! It is meeting all my expectations to the last digit behind the ,! The team with the most RN cruisers loses. IMO it is the most realistic game feature in Wow's ever!

Yep! I always take a breaht before meeting a RN cruiser. To aim proparly and delete him to the next game. They're a total joke IMO. Heck I citadelled a RN cruiser twice today. In my Kamikaze, using HE. Granted: it was a T4 cruiser. But I never ever had the same with other cruisers... Only with the Bogue.

Sigh. Given the answers here I feel I yet again have to point out the biggest problem of this game. Lack of teamwork. The cruiser role is vital. Light or heavy for that matter. It is so simple: a cruiser must screen his DD to the cap. Stay close (no I don't mean bow to aft scratching) but stay in the vicinity so he can flush out comptetion DD's from that cap. The BB's should do the same for the cruisers. If that cap is heavily infested the cruiser can fall back while the BB's draw the fire attention. But 99% of the matches don't go that way. Cruisers sailing off to the bottom and BB's cowering behind islands "ooooh a torp could hit me." Let me wake you up: you can have 1 torp hit. It won't destriy you! If played correctly both the DD and the cruiser have spotted them millenia ago before they even get to you! And don't be scared of the repair bill anymore: it is FIXED! But no: cruisers leave their DD's to rot and BB's their cruisers. Tha't why you know before the 5th minute when your match is lost The team who understand the concept of fleet play the most is always the winner.

Awesome post captain. Couldn't agree more. I like to see the WG staff as the same insane nerds as we are and trying to make our hobby a living. I actually like the crates! It adds spice to the game IMO. I've decided to spare up crates and claim one per item so I can open them later when needed. Of course not all. Can't hold my curiosity that often. I had 100 dragonflags Y'day!! Wow!! Awesome!

I don't recognise this OP. IMO MM has vastly improved since they balanced the ship- and tiers. 1 ship numer difference is to be overcome. And I've been in dozens of comeback fights. Both ways I must add: seen defeats being snatched from the jaws of victory in my teams and in the reds quite often.

Well this weekend I had the exact opposite... Which is rare though: in "normal" weekends I would cry and beg on my knees to get your results. I don't know a decent answer. The weekends seems to have far more "extreme" outcomes. It's a ROFLstomp either way often. I completely stopped bothering myself with stats. Yes: give me your best shot. My stats probably suck big time given the number of games I played so far. I still couldn't care less. For me a good battle is where I had fun. And with fun I mean PlayTW. And yeah I do occasionnaly make stupid mistakes. But that only reminds me I still qualify as a human being! My point: don't get upset OP. We all have the same issue!
