  1. @YabbaCoe Well, you people lied again to us. I quote Flamus video onWhiteMouse forum posts. The Mission does not scale with the rest of the flags, lie number one! 17% is nerf over the ship. lie number 2! And again you place a significant ship behind a gambling wall. Well that's no lie, but a Scam no less. Time to abandon ship, vote with your wallet, if they don't fix it, kill it with capitalism.

    Discontinuation of macOS Support

It's seems like there will be no official refund programm from Apple users. Now you will have to make further software afforts to keep playing the game. It's really sad to see the business side of wows to degrade over the years further and further.

    Anti CV Build Thread

So I will try to get this thread back on track, and try to ask questions to make more sense of the AA mechanics: So with our AA, We have 3 zone: BFT AFT Massive AA AA Guns Mod 1 AA Guns Mod 2 Def. AA Fire Pressing O Instant 3.5% D of Airplane Health Short-Range +10% continuous d +100% Inst. Damage on O +50% sector preparation time +2 Bubbles +15% continuous d +50%DPS +150 reinforcement Mid-Range +10% continuous d +100% Inst. Damage on O +50% sector preparation time +2 Bubbles +15% continuous d +50%DPS +150 reinforcement Long-Range +10% continuous d +15% DPS in Bubble +100% Inst. Damage on O +50% sector preparation time +2 Bubbles +15% continuous d +15% DPS in Bubble +50%DPS +300%DPS in Bullble +150 reinforcement These are the stats named in game, but I will quote other forum Posts about certain mechanics I found: Flak always spawns in fixed intervals (about every 2 seconds) at a fixed time to impact and direction relative to your current speed and direction. That means the time it takes for you to hit a flak wall always remains the same no matter how fast or slow you go. With this you can control the distance at which flak spawns. Speed also controls how wide a flak wall can possibly be. The faster you go, the wider it is going to be. If the flak concentration isn't high enough this can cause gaps to appear which you can exploit. Regardless though the maximum width isn't big enough to compensate for your maneuverability, so even a max saturated flak wall remains dodgeable. Flak also compensates for turns and, if necessary, altitude. However, again, it does so at a fixed interval and only checks your direction (and speed) the moment it spawns. It won't continuously compensate for the entirety of its lifespan. You can abuse this by actively misdirecting flak into spawning where you don't actually want to go. And keep in mind that flak of a ship stops spawning once you're 3.5km or closer to it. On single or tight groups of ships this enables you to concentrate completely on your attack run once you're close. You can also dodge flak via attacking exactly once as it changes the altitude of your planes. Flak however can still hit you if you're within an attack run, but it will target your reserve planes and not your attacking ones. Alright, here's where it gets weird. The damage zone of flak is server side, while the actual flak animation (aka the part you see) is client side. Due to the slight delay in communication between your client and the server this means flak will always spawn with a delay. And for Priority Sector I found this: The sector reinforcement mechanic does not increase the overall damage dealt, it only increases the tickrate but in the end applies the same amount of damage regardless. Unless you're a BB. So lets say you have AA that has a damage value of 4 which ticks every second. Using sector reinforcement makes this aura tick every half a second for a damage of 2. The overall damage doesn't change, the same damage just gets applied faster. This can still be considered a buff but a minor one, it is nowhere near as useful as the promised 35-50% increase in DPS would be. Also note that this applies universally. Cruisers are supposed to get a 150% improvement while everyone else gets 135%, yet this doesn't seem to be the case. In reality everyone seems to get a 50% increase in tickrate, from one second to half a second. Clemson: Without anything Clemson long range deals 4 damage per second. Using sector reduces damage to 2 but increases tickrate to half a second. If you use the sector in the wrong direction however sector reinforcement works as intended and reduces damage dealt to 3 every second. (Note that Clemson is the only ship I tested what happens when you use sector reinforcement in the wrong direction on.) Couldron: Same story, 48 every second without sector reinforcement, 24 every half a second with sector reinforcement. Hosho: Hosho actually seems to get shafted by 1 DPS for whatever reason. I know, completely outrageous. WG pls buff Hosho immediately. Kawachi: 9 damage every second, 6 damage every half a second for a total DPS of 12. A ~30% increase precisely as advertised. Do note that if this is actually working as intended then the MAA skill is more useful than previously thought of on cruisers and DDs since sector reinforcement doesn't actually buff DPS anyway. I will try to continue to work on this post.

    French destroyers event: Part 2

Wargaming should really start to get consistent again with how they marked their products. They started with Legendary Captains for BBs and CAs, then they added those for the dds. In that regard alone, they neglected the German and Japanese tree, because they are the ones with no better Turret travers and Survivability captains. (Well Japan just has Yamamoto.) Then they added the historical figures like Halsey, Yamamoto, Kuznetsov and now Philippe Auboyneau. With their extra special abilities, to further break the gamebalance in random battles and ranked. Why does Wargaming hide critically historically Content behind premium events, so players joining at a later date will never get the chance????????? This is beyond me? Even the short term monitary boost of these events cannot have more significance than the long term support and availability of content? I have reached a point where wows is tiring me out, this is not entertainment anymore, but a chore. If this overflow of content continues, I will lose intrest in playing the game as a hobby and stop even supporting the game with premium, Because withholding money is the only reasonble threat we as a cutomer have against WG. So what I would like to suggest is, stretch out the content more, don't hold Ranked, Clanbattles and new ships at the same time, because we your cutomers don't have the need time to commit to the game. Give us more breaks between the events, or sequence them better, like one periode of competitive gp, one periode of content gameplay. And make anything that is "premium content" like premium ships or captains Transparent to the overall market inside the game. Like with the tier 9 large CAs. They are in the store and 100k free xp in the game. Right now WG is hoping on the frustration of its players when they see that they have invested so much time into the game so they will spent the extra 20 Euros it would cost to get the Captain. Thats scumy, sorry. Why not make it hard to get, but possible for the dedicated players so they are happy, available in the premium stroy for the moneykids, and last but not least with the extra containers for those that would still like to have the content, so they will spent their money like this. But right now even if you want the captain with money, you need 17 containers and you would need 4 transactions just to get them or spend extra with the 25 container pack and bind the customers money already for future content. For all interested here is all the math. Available Tokens in legion of Honor: 200+3*250+11*4*15= 1610 combat missions: if you got or grinded to the le terrible: 200 if you already spend money or was lucky to get the Mogador: 200 so now you also need to be in the top 50% in the hall of fame to get another: 300 tokens and we have 4 time the posability to get into the hall of fame. Now for the Money part: 90 Euros for either the big pack 67,48 Euros if you buy seperate packs So these are my long 2 cents to the topic. I hope Wargaming will change World of warships so the long term players don't get burn out. And I apologize for any spelling or grammar errors. :D
