I dont share your thoughts guys. Ranked is the only time I can play my t8 ships not having a pain to fight versus t9 and t10 OP ships (OP compared to t8)....In fact tier 8 kinda suffers MM wise....t8 almost regularly gets t9 and t10 ships which are much better. Its a bigger gap than t7 to t8 jump. Besides, we get flags in ranked. Nice lilttle presents.

or to play it....they brought their crap to the level of an ultimate nauseatience...I mean WG really, why dont you spend some time to fix this or to perma ban the accounts of such players, forever....screw their premium accounts..because then, all of us others who are paying without cheats and who really actually enjoy playing the game and COMPETING with others on the same level... Look at the first video...I mean..its insane..I know the mod isnt perfect but its good enough apparently. The thing is, I would like they find a way of detecting ppl who are using it. Imagine their sorrow [edited]faces when they login next time just to realize their whole port is gone...gone..no ships, all the money and time wasted...This would be the proper punishment...

I have the same dilemma in Blyskawica. DE is superb specially for burning other DDs (still visible even in the smoke) and for starting fires on larger ships...and Last stand is also very much needed... What would you choose for Blyss?

I noticed that sometimes (when i forget to switch to HE) i tend to do nice penetrations and massive HP hit on DDs when using AP shells (with guns up to 155 mm).....So whats up with those advices "never use AP on DDs"??

Well...kutuzov or citadelovich and atago are premiums with (mostly)" nonpremium" captains (players)....Mogami is spammer and easy to take out....Hipper usually have a captain who knows how to exploit german CAs advantages...range..ap brutality...and with DE perk it can make fires with he...see you on battlefield....oh N Orleans is also dangerous..but again..ppl hate pepsi, NO, german cruisers...cause those arent no brainers...

Im also doing well in it. The big "secret" is pretty simmilar to konig and nurnb...never ever show your side...use your range, with Yorck use he up to 10km and then AP on CAs...HE still advised for DDs and BBs....use your double turrets at back for "evasive retreating fire"...it can do wonders as long as you changing course slighltly...

Kenliero, I like you reviews, thanks. One question though...why do you keep so many ships?..theres no way you have time to play all of them...Unleast you play 2 or 3 each day and so in circles until you played all of them, lol

Nope. You completely missed my point...I wasnt talking about mm and me being in a ship which is outclassed! I was talking about t9 and t10 matches IN GENERAL and Shimakaze no brainer super torpedo spawn...This is what I was talking about...and then few folks jumped on me after they peeked on my profile...Then all the crap with low tier ship in high tier games started.... BTW, I see now that closed profile is great idea...

My post wasnt rant at all. It was my observation (form my point of view) regarding t9 and t10 battles in which I participated via divisions. Yes, if you have t7 ship, heck even t3, you will end up in t10 game as long as your teammates in divisions are in t9/t10 ships. Regarding Shimakazas...everything is said already. If you do enjoy with 1000 torps launched from 4 spamming DDs, then, good for you (have in mind torps arent prone to RNG). I would not participate anymore in t9 an t10 battles. Those battles are often boring (from various reasons which are discussed to death, in this forum) and not fun at all. However that would happen from time to time since Im planning to buy 2 t8 ships (not premium, ofcourse) which can get into t9 and t10 battles because we have broken mm which allows 2 tiers up games....

Im playing t7 ship in division with ppl who own t8 and t9 ships....This is how I have Shimakazas in teh battle....Doesnt matter what I drive, they have the same opinion... BTW, I have open profile so I think I wont have anymore so ppl can just stop abusing stuff from there...

Its simple...all the info I have, all the ww2 pics of smokescreen cleary shows that smoke coming from the ships (to cover their position) was thick black and brown-ish...not white ones we have in game...We are not a game about cooking....why do we have white smokes?

But then again why white? Or why not to have an option to use both? But I agree with others that smokescreeen mechanics (indicator etc) is broken and that is a much bigger issue.... last night, when I was in Blyss, one Fubuki spawned in front of me...no smoke, distance cca 1.5 km...insane...

Reading posts on forum prior to unlocking Nurnberg..I thought I will sell it...but this ship i like even more than Konig. Its like upgraded Konig, same guns yes but better rudder and thats the thing. Later german cruisers are "dancers" with big long bat and thats how they shoulod be played. Ironically, Im doing some of my best matches in them, even though I have Myoko, Nagato, NM, Pepsi, Minekaze, Blyss, Farragut etc etc ....I sold my Cleve because its so f boring ship... German CAs are by far the most challenging and most fun ships in the game. At least to me. I know that this isnt true for most of you...but hey, even better then.... Little advice: use your superiour range and agility in Nurnberg...Cant coiunt how many times I sunk Cleves, Furutakas, Aobas, etc....when they were furiously charging to get me...my two rear turrets fired all the time while I was "dancing" to dodge their shots...Yeah it can be "stressfull" and "tiring" but its the way it should be played and I enjoy it fully....And dont forget...you have very usefull torpedoes for defence against DDs...heck I even sunk a battleships with them, hidden behind an island....

Kyoshi, pls read my post entirely. I was talking about AP shells from guns up to 155mm Usually mounted on light/er cruisers and gunboats....

I love my Nurnberg. It isnt so good in its tier as Konig but its ok. It demands a different style of play, simmilar to Pepsi but it has a great range for CA in its tier. Torps are there for defensive purposes and when stalking BBS behind islands. I sunk Tirpitz the other day, when I was hidden behind an island. But thats rare occasion.

I think that its better to go with Last stand and concealment perk with Blyss...Im too often left with dead engine in this ship and it has already enough of the range and stealth....

The most underrated are Pepsi, Furutaka and Nurnberg. Funny enough I do great in all those. The thing is, those ships (spec Nurnberg and Pepsi) arent the one in your supposed to expose yourself and thats what most players do and then wine on boards...

Very nice idea, however the perma camo is really ugly and look just like a refurbished christmas version. Also it is a bit too expensive.

Im with Tadej since I experienced the same...Last stand is very very needed and probably more needed than AFT and extra fire...

Its really very hard choice in 4th row of captain skills...AFT, DE or Last stand. All very needed. But maybe once concealment perk at row 5 is grinded AFT is not needed. You have even more stealth room, DDs have less space to detect you and you still have 12 km range and nice velocity...Blyss doesnt have problem with putting up fires also... so yeah, maybe last stand would be the best choice in 4th row... ughh
