Some of you are failing to understand that different servers can be on different versions for a variety of reasons. Yes on a normal update the NA server gets updated first and the others generally follow for about a day later. However for "special event" updates to a specific server, lets say the American Server has a 4th July special event on it does not matter what you do to the scripts config file, if your original client is the EU one then you are stuck on that until the servers "sync" back in, IE The America server loses its 4th July update and returns to being a normal client. As an example I was stuck on the Asia server for Chinese New Year for about three weeks, because they had a special event on specific to that server and that is the game client i downloaded. As for scripts config this works as of today because all 3 servers are on exactly the same update. Do not take out the </host> breaks. I still trying to figure why they their but if you remove them, it will not work - trust me.

The OP's original instructions in his original post still apply and have worked every update. I am guessing people are having problems because of the following - 1. You need a different account for each server you play on, you can use the same e-mail address for each server, but its a new account for each server which you need to register on the website relevant to the server you want to play on. IE for the NA server you must register on the NA website. 2. Because its a new account, you obviously start from day 0 on the new server you add. Ships etc can not be transferred server to server. 3. The servers do not all update at the same time, the script error is because your trying to play on a server that has already updated and your ORIGINAL server has not yet updated. Play your original server till it updates then all will be well. 4. Every update so far has re-set the scripts file, after every update you need to check the lines and re add as necessary. 5. Their are times where the servers are on different local versions, Chinese New Year on the Asia server is one example. You just have to wait it out for the servers to get back in sync, IE play on your original server. Hope this helps. Once again many thanks to the OP and I hope I have explained how it works. Edited to add, before you start fiddling in the scripts file make a back up copy first.

No, you have to start from scratch on each server. You can use the same email address though to register on each server.

Digital all good here on Ver 5, if you have not got it going yet could you post a screenshot of your res file with the lines added so we can maybe see if something is wrong there? Just a thought

It works and it works well, thank you very much to the OP. Each server is updated at different times, the script error, please update your client, is because your trying to play on "another" server to the one you originally signed up for which has been updated and your original one has yet to update. I am on the Asia server and I return to playing on it while the other servers are updating. Asia in my experience seems to get updated last. Once the Asia server updates i then go in and follow the OP's instructions as per his first post and re-enter the lines. Works well. I hope they leave the facility in, anything to get away from the Asia server. You cant transfer ships or accounts. You have to make a new account for each server and start again. Like when you server hopped (if you did) in WOT. You can use the same e-mail though.
