OK i really like the CV re-work, and am actively playing CVs now, before i just found them dull.
I think WG, you're nerfing CVs to clamp down on expert CV players who are exploiting every advantage, but really just hurting all the new CVs playing who are struggling to do enough damage with them as it is. This latest nerf on Midway and CVs in general, just feels ridiculous.... Seriously as a DD player, its pretty easy to avoid hassle from planes. Smoke, or move towards cruisers, or invest in decent AA, lots of things you can do. I dont feel that worried by CVs in my destroyer, I'm happy to see them as its very easy to shoot their planes down :)
What I'd really like to see is more low tier CV premium ships, not just t8, which tragically seem to constantly get thrown into t10 matches :(. Why not tier 4 or tier 6 premiums? I think its urgent to introduce some, to encourage more CV play at lower levels. People jumping straight into t8 Kaga and getting matched with t10 battles and seeing their planes shot to pieces, not very encouraging!
To finish on a positive, i do love the new CV rework, great fun. CVs should be a regular feature!
