1 question: If we all update on the same day around the world whytf is the server update different in the regions still? Just doesn't make sense...

Is it time to disengage and close your wallet?
Humorpalanta replied to Ocsimano18's topic in General Discussion
It was time when the CV Reeeework hit. Ever since I am a F2P player and don't mind it. Spent more than a 100 EUR yesterday on Steam and I don't mind it. It would have gone to WG a couple years ago but whatever... -

Upcoming new commander skill system (19 -> 21) will NOT be done the way it was done when it happened the first time (17 -> 19) years ago...
Humorpalanta replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
With the average time of 17 minutes per battle that is 9384 minutes, which equals 156 hours. That is almost a week nonstop playtime without eating, shtting, anything. For 1 respecc. Lulz -
Introduction of new skill system without testing?
Humorpalanta replied to Humorpalanta's topic in General Discussion
I just wanted to point out the fact of how stupidly the game is "developed". I just can't laugh about this anymore... If you checked out Flamu's video on the subject you can hear the moment he just gives up on this while thing... Not even he cares anymore... Isn't it sad? -

Yup. When WG started to put them into different trees for different classes the whole thing went shitshow. And if you look at the skill tree you will see that many of the current skills were basically halved. I mean what is cureently 1 skill will be in the future 2 or 3 skills. Because why not... This is nothing else than MONEYGRAB. -

Okay guys, let me ask you a couple of things. Assume you have 400 ships. You have to calculate how many captains you need. Then you have to calculate which captain is where and which captain has the skills to operate on certain Premiums. And then which silver ships that captain is trained to and where you located it right now. Also the number of possibilities to calculate with in order to find the best solutions for a captain would require a fkin supercomputer to run like hours. What are you going to use? Excel sheets? Maybe Access? Or what? As a casual player it is currently complicated enough to follow everything, every change, where every captain is, which are their skills, which and which patch changes the ships they are attached to. What do you think how complicated it will be after this system? What do you think how many times are you going to need to retrain your captain? And don't forget now you will have to use doubloons on 1 captain 4 times! Also it is hard already for a casual player to reach a 19 point captain. It is barely impossible to reach a 21 pt one... I have been playing this game for over 5 years and I swear to God almost every systematic change made things worse! The only exception is maybe when we changed from the old skill system to the current one. But upcoming one is too complex, too complicated and gives terrible bonuses which will f up your knowledge. You will not know the concealments of ships, the rate of fires, the AA, their attacks, etc. etc. The gameplay is going to be effin RANDOM. Even professional players won't be able to remember everything for every ship! You won't be able to use tactics because there will be just too many possibilities! And don't forget that the CVs are gonna be EVEN WORSE! -

This new skill system heavily favours to paying customers who play the game 0-24 every day all day. Those people who have some life will suffer HARD even if they spend a lot of cash... This DOES NOT make sense... -
Introduction of new skill system without testing?
Humorpalanta replied to Humorpalanta's topic in General Discussion
Dude. What are you talking about? This is a basic rework of the foundations of the game itself... It should be heavily tested before even considering it to throw on the live server... Have you ever worked around IT? 3 or 4 rounds of testings are the minimum in case of a heavy change of a softwer... After like 2-3 tests it could be introduced to live server as a separate and tested if the community accepts it or not and then change the WHOLE FKIN GAME. -

Jean Bart B bundled with Jean Bart mission?
Humorpalanta replied to CptBaconstrips's topic in General Discussion
Don't worry about response time! I have a couple places to post things also... (My country is currently at a terrible spot and as an Economist and Political Scientist I am trying to change the way we are heading...) I agree with you in some aspects however I doubt and question the findings of your comment not the facts you state in them. ( I hope I am understandable to a native english speaker as my english is 3,6 R not great, not terrible) The factors to which we can lead back our findings here: People don't really understand what they read and they did not learn to read using different techniques. Add to this the fact that people are greedy and BUMM you just created the average customer. Luckily we live in the first world where there are expectations from the law towards the buyer also not just the seller. Unlike those 3rd world countries like Uhhmerica where you have to state on the microwave that you shouldn't put a cat into it. -

Maaaan you know I love you but I gotta stop you right there. This is 3rd grade school material. Understanding the read text. The funny thing is that most of the population is incapable of doing that even though governments try to change the school system in order to fix this issue. The laws focus on the fact that you are told about the truth. For example: Red Bull does NOT give you wings - in small text at the end of the ad. Or in this case if the buyer can easily find out about the purchase. Like in this case if they click and read they can but most people don't read. This is a fact. Like agreements or EULA. You don't read it because you trust the laws and the laws don't expect you to read the EULA because obvious reasons. So you cannot expect WG to make buying items as hard as possible. IF the buyer wants to buy it quick and does not check what he buys then its his own fault. You cannot make everything idiotproof because you are just creating more and more useless stuff that people WON't read anyways and the society would just dumb down as less and less effort is required from their side. (Like in Idiocracy. I love that Documentary.) There is a french movie called Tais-toi! in french (basically Shut Up I don't know the English title only the hungarian) and in that movie the psychiatrist (or whatever it is spelled) says: - There is no dumb people house. They don't build them because we would use up all the building materials... -
I love the Zao. I loved it from the first second and still love it. She doesn't need more range. If you want that play the SuperZao. (Yoshino) Zao needs better armor. It was her selling point and now gets blapped by anything.

Jean Bart B bundled with Jean Bart mission?
Humorpalanta replied to CptBaconstrips's topic in General Discussion
:D Jeeeez. LOL. Ofc it is legal. Everything is written there. WG is not responsible for the customer's decision. Grown ups are to be responsible for their decisions and to read the expectable info about the shopping. If they hid it in the EULA somewhere it could be questionable. But it is right there in front of your eyes... -
