Hmm when will Brisbane arrive for coal?

About exactly what I thought. Compensation is no longer in doubloons and since I've once been a stupid player, I have all the premium ships I can get from these T5-T9 premium shi.. ehh ship containers, and as a result get crap credits for spending a metric ton of cash. But, I do appreciate that WG is doing this as it makes it just as easy as last years amazingly crappy "sale" to just ignore it. Save the money, spend it on beer or drinks or wine, the investment pays back 10 fold.!!! For new players, DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE DIME on this, wait until Christmas and rather spend all your saved cash on those containers (unless they manage to mess that up as well) as they are worth it. To put it in perspective, this is about 50% more than a complete reset of the haragumo line, meaning 21k research points or a bunch of resources like coal, to me the research points are worth more. even if you have all research point boats. Are the things worth it if you do not have the boats? Well, it's more exp than you need to research any line completely from T2->T10 with all modules researched (of course you need the credits to buy them...), but then again, free exp is rather useless outside of research bureau points.. -Fes

NO... I have put.. ehh more than average amount of money into this game and I got the allotted 16% out of 100 mega containers, so no luck there. I have a clan mate that got 33 ships out of 60 mega containers, that's.. just crazy.. But it comes and goes :-). Can't really complain except the 2x180 days I absolutely did not want. -Fes

Hmm this seems more like players have the greed issue here, not the company. One could argue the company has an intense and selfish (ehhhhhh well not sure a company can be "selfish" like that but ohh well, semantics) desire for something, usually wealth. But here I would rather argue that the players have an intense and selfish desire for the items, but don't want to pay a dime for them, they want to be able to guarantee the pick of the next card in black jack or to always know the numbers on the roulette table before they place their "bets". You have a choice, buy or don't buy. If you cannot make that choice, seek help, because blaming others for your lack of self control is probably the most stupid I ever hear people claim. But for gods sake , make everything as inoffensive as possible and we can drop all games all together, at least online ones, because there's always some that need things they "cannot" get for free or that require effort they do NOT want to invest (but still want it) and as such argue that it is unfair, greedy, corporate hoax or whatever. Good entertainment they provide. Enough venting, just my 47 cents. Happy Christmas. Don't spend a dime in the game unless you want to, but don't blame anyone for YOUR actions if you do!. -Fes

Nice those dubs coupons... always forget about those, not that I often use them.. if they were a 30% discount, fine, but.. meh.. good to combine with other offers though, as you've started to roll out the birthday event again.. Since you messed up the economy the value of any camouflage has more or less completely disappeared :-(. -Fes

Well , on the positive side. will have my salary soon so if I had gotten the coupon when I was supposed to I might not have had the cash nor the willingness to waste moolah on it :-). Which in a way is bad for WG, but good for my wallet. Now however..... (depending on the valid period of the coupon :-)). Btw, 20 megas bought for testing gave me 1 ship :D, all the other free containers and the sequential bundles gave me 4 :D .. Lottery indeed. Why on earth would you need a captain in a premium ship?.. I think I have 100+ T10 captains already in reserve..

No, the premium is because you add a port slot.. so you get the port slot cost added (300 dubs) and as such the price is right

buy a ship you have, you get dubs as refund... problem solved.. Okhotnik gives you 2700 dubs back.. halfway decent.. Now, if they were smart they would have given you 1 per 2500 dubs worth of good you bought :D -Fes

But @YabbaCoe, you have to admit that somebody gets it whilst some do not is beyond shady. This is not incompetence or a bug, it's been going on for months. So it more feels like a controlled culling, but I'm saving money so really cannot complain. -Fes

If they don't know the cause of the issue, hard to give an ETA.. But what the F do I know.. being a former software engineer. To be honest, they have a lot of developers, this is probably just a long way down on their priority list.. This patch is super buggy so no wonder they prioritize such things.. -Fes

Conspiracy theorists unite.. It's really sad that I was looking for a post about these gifts as my bd was a day ago and I didn't get anything. Now that's fine, I was just curious as to why. So I searched the forum and found this.. and was saddened by the greed and audacity of people, it's free stuff!!! Do you ring the door to your neighours and ask for a birthday gift if you got one last year and suddenly didn't? Grow up.. If you were going to spend dubs on PR then you didn't bother to grind it so meh, you can afford to buy some extra dubs. I'll be pleased if I get something, but I won't moan and whine about it and at least not post comments like it's probably just fake, nothings coming our way, WG is lying allways.. .. Funny thing is, all of you haters still play the game, still put money into it and still put time, lots and lots of time into it. I spend less now than before, just because being a whale no longer have any benefit (you used to get discounts with rebuying ship bundles, no more, so no more spending) and mostly the random bundles are crap.. Still, not a single super container with steel from these aniversary events, but a plethora of coal and premium days (which I absolutely do not want, good idea making premium days a currency, I am all for that). -Fes

Hi, Out of curiosity, anyone else having issues with the latest update and MalwareBytes blocking the webpages (CEF Chromium based) that WOWS uses for Armory, Naval battle, premium shop and so forth (in game, not from outside the game)? I have tried to understand why, there are no log entries in MB and it only started happening after the last update. Adding exception to MB does not work, but quitting does. -Fes

I got it for "free exp" way back in the days, it was better before due to the fact of it being a minorly nerfed Yamato (sits higher in the water (easier to cit) and has lousy AA and secondaries, but guns are the same afaik and it's a premium) that could end up in T7 and rofl stomp the entire team, it's also the ship that gave CV sniping a new meaning (2 musashis + a T8 CV in a div.....). Worth 19300 doubloons? Well, if you compare it to other T9 premiums, yeah, definitely. This will be whaled so heavily as it is one of the stupider ships in the game (who thought Yamato in T7 would be fun for the T7's.....). And here's the kicker, as it is the much coveted Musashi, the auction type is now set in such a way that monkeys will likely bid 40-50k + dubs just to be "safe" to get it, after all they "only" pay the lowest winning bid, now what do you think the lowest winning bid will be if enough people think like that? Most likely a new record for any ship, likely to stand until ships like Smolensk arrives in an auction (and that's a stupid T10 ex-coal ship).... Don't really care, but I understand that lure that this ship has. -Fes
