USS Missouri + KMS DDs + KMS Graf Spee preliminary stats (5.15 ST)
creamgravy replied to Darth_Glorious's topic in Destroyers
From tier 6 these are BIG ships, Błyskawica is smaller and harder to hit. These are line of slow Leningrad with worse HE but better AP (like the cruisers) Giving them an extra consumable slot might be a bit OTT though. At tier 8 Benson is still no.1 for competitive play. Destroyer Captain build (18 point) HP Surface detection (km) Speed (knots) Gun range (km) HE DPM Fires per minute Stealth fire window (km) Torpedo Torpedo Range (km) Time to Target (s) Reaction time + vigilance (s) Torpedo DPM Benson B Scout 18,600 5.8 38 11.6 13,500 1.5 2 Mk15 mod.3 9.2 43 9.6 81,000 Z-23 Scout 22,700 6.2 37 10.8 8,900 1.3 0.1 G7 Schildbutt 9.5 38 10.2 77,000 -
Try popping smoke with Neptune in full reverse
-
SE scales with healing. It gives Edinburgh about 5-6k HP and a Leander with SE can take over 40k damage before sinking.

I don't think it's a compromise, just choice. Here's my fleet.

The question is where did Ernst Gaede come from? WG fantasy ship or real mid/late 20s design that led to the Z1934.

Survivability Expert is the best but AFT is always useful. Neptune is the only one that wants Manual AA.

...in Mountbatten pink.

All German destroyers from the 1930s have a square bridge. Ernst Gaede has a late 20s round bridge, like one of the Dubrovnik class destroyers built by Yarrow. http://www.navypedia.org/ships/germany/ger_dd_ta43.htm Maybe a 1934 prototype? 80,000 HP is more then the T10.

Me, a Minotaur? Here? In a smoke filled B cap on Warriors path? With my reputation? Bingo!

How about Officer Crabtree for the French?

Which forum members have you seen in random battles?

I capped A and the game ended -
Admiral Hipper (Prinz Eugen) is a battleship support ship. Chapayev (Mikhail Kutuzov) does a better job with long range HE spam and the ability to equip radar and defensive AA fire. Edinburgh (Belfast) is a front line destroyer support ship. It's better than New Orleans due to heal, smoke, hydro and rapid firing guns. Mogami (Atago) is a jack of all trades. Support destroyers with stealth or spam HE from the back.

USS Missouri + KMS DDs + KMS Graf Spee preliminary stats (5.15 ST)
creamgravy replied to Darth_Glorious's topic in Destroyers
The second line does. The 128mm are modern dual purpose guns. Yep. Daring: ~260 Fletcher: 261 (556 for 30 seconds with defensive fire) Z52: 294 Battle: ~315 (max dps values) -
2: V-25 3 G-101 4: V-170 5: T-22 (?? any idea) 6: Ernst Gaede (?? any idea) 7: Leberecht Maass (1934. Maybe Z-1 would've been a better name?) 8: Z-23 (1936A Narvik-class) 9: Z-46 (1936C) 10: Z-52 (1944)

http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WTGER_WWII.php Cruisers only use the short range setting (6km @ 44 knots) but destroyers will have access to the other modes. However WG don't like long range torp spam so they'll probably cap distances at 10-12km.

Akatsuki has similar HE DPM to Leningrad with 1800 alpha and a 6.75s reload. You could give most IJN DD potatoes players Yamato guns with a 1s reload and they'd still never use them.
-
Leander is wrecking T6, even will tons of people playing it.
-
No need to apologise, the average Fiji player does far more damage and sinks almost double the number ships you do in a Colorado.
-
Edinburgh = Tank of the RN CL line. You get the super heal, can auto bounce 8" AP off the bow/stern and has a 114mm armourer waterline citadel. Leander and Edinburgh are brawlers. Fiji and Minotaur are agile but fragile DPM monsters. Neptune is unique. Big, clunky and fragile but with insane weapons.

Campaign to bring Heal to Tier 8 Cruisers
creamgravy replied to Kazomir's topic in General Discussion
Here's what I'd do with the Tier 8 cruisers. Mogami: Fine. Chapayev: Fine. New Orleans: Buff. Give it a 27mm hull like Baltimore/Des Moines (auto bounce 15" shells off your bow/stern) Prinz Eugen/Admiral Hipper: Buff. Give them access to both sonar and defensive fire. This enables you to be a situational DD hunter and situational AA cruiser at the same time, like a Chapayev. Belfast: Nerf. Remove stupid T7 preferential matchmaking. Edinburgh. Fine. Atago. Fine. Mikhail Kutuzov: Fine. -
Fiji gets preferential matchmaking. You go from New York to Großer Kurfürst in Edinburgh.

Well, it could be in either like Leander but the Royal New Zealand Navy will need a premium too. -

HMNZS Achilles would be part of the Commonwealth tree. I wonder many would collect all 8 Leander class ships? 4 in the Commonwealth line, 4 in the RN line. -
Thanks guys, it's defiantly a mini Neptune with 12rpm. I'm sure it would be super popular.
