Yep, my hydro zerg Leander has a 91% win rate in ranked. Feels unbeatable, I actually think it's better than Minotaur for domination as it's more forgiving. Destroyers have a really, really hard job these days. -

^ You've got 0.84 instead of 0.86 in that calc. Opps. -

Don't you want to experience Bellerophomageddon? Imagine 12 vs 12 Ishizuchi sailing around at 50% power spamming HE. Wither, Arsonist and Fireproof flags for everyone! I wonder if WG are still planning on putting Nelson at tier 8? Does 0.6.8 KGV have the RN tier 8+ super heal at tier 8? -
They did the same with A-hull Leander. I think staff occasionally mistake mount and gun number as sources can list either (Mk VIII, Mk VII etc) Hopefully we'll get a A-hull Leander premium with correct quad pom pom set up (Orion 42, Hobart 45 or Achilles 46. Give it defensive fire over hydro or plane too) Didn't the QE and R class also have 2 x 20mm Oerlikons on the turret too? 1 x 4 pom pom + 2 x 1 Oerlikon = 21 DPS. 1 x 8 pom pom = 20 DPS The platform on Iron Duke looks very dodgy but at least the numbers match

3. Vanguard. The foremost part of an advancing army or naval force, so should be first. 4. Price of Wales. Wales is quite small. 5. King George V. Tier 5 was decided back in 1910. 6. Duke of York. He had 10,000 men and matched them up to the top of a hill. Should be halfway up the tiers. 7. Queen Elizabeth. Still going strong in 2017. 8. Tiger. Queen of the jungle. 9. Lion. King of the jungle. 10. Dreadnought. Not afraid of tier system.

I'd buff the sigma (2.0) or secondary range (5km) over AP shells. Your not going to pen angled BB belts anyway and it makes no different to cruisers. Ishizuchi? She gets RN BB HE.

WG have been trolling us with Nelson and KGV for ages, calibre and tier is a big deal on the US forums. Don't believe anything, even the test ships. -
You can beat up other DDs with a 6.1km surface detection + great guns, then cap and flank/harass at range. I've liked all my games with it so far (rank 6-7 ish) Totally underrated.
-
It is. Iron Duke had 18 boilers, 29,000 shp and did 21 knots. (Super test Iron Duke has 32,500 shp and does 22.5 knots) Revenge had 18 boilers, 40,000 shp and did 23 knots at Jutland. It's very similar in size to Iron Duke. Maybe Iron Duke had a minor machine refit based on Revenge, including the slim single stack. Was it part of the late 20s planned refit? (inc torp budges) If Iron Duke was updated with expensive modern 1930s machinery (admiralty 3 drum boilers etc) then you'd need the extra modernisation too, like Queens Anne superstructure.
-
Sail a ship that's good at punishing static BB play.
-
Hell no, Leander doesn't care about the camping meta. Best ship in the game* *Perth not included.
-
It looks like Iron Duke has been updated to Revenge standards. Don't they have a similar 18 boiler room layout? It's a bit pointless. It's not a trunked funnel (could be wrong)
-
Just Leander stuff. Blame the maps and domination game mode, not the tier. Tier 6 is great apart from Cleveland/CV balance.

Game looks dull since the new patch

Warspite then. Warspite now. I like the new new lighting calculation model. It's flatter but more atmospheric. -
Well I'm having fun. The standard of play is generally good from rank 10 and people are still adjusting to the tier 6 meta/maps, don't get mad when people mess up. You still get 'those' CV games. Although sometimes, just sometimes you get the good player on your team. Thanks Nagativvv! I just wish the rewards were more interesting, 15 camo is very boring.

^ That Cleveland is still 'dull and flat' with PP on, boats used to be more reflective etc. -

Queen Lizzy has the second or third best AA at tier 6. A full AA build will be able to shoot down a Indy bomber squad before they can drop. She also has special RN BB HE. (6300 damage, 35% fire and 94mm pen) Warspite = Good AP, average HE. Hood = Poor AP, average HE. (drew the short straw) QE = Poor AP, excellent HE. Revenge = ?? Vanguard = ?? Good AP, excellent HE (all the good stuff?) -
I dunno, we crushed it on Strait. (Should've said hello ) Gutted we don't have epicentre on Warrior's Path.
