I recently played my Bismarck, within 3 minutes the enemy Enterprise wiped me off the face of the map. No dodging or AA support from other ships helped, I even shot down 10 planes. This is tier 7+ balance.

True. Belfast can currently fire 15 salvos from smoke, with the new mechanic it goes down to 11 salvos (if SEA and my math is correct) Not a huge nerf, however multiple ships will deplete the smoke very quickly. It's been design to stop BB smoke camping ...aka teamwork. Static gameplay is based around Island camping for domination game modes. (Can be fun) If you want to remove static game play they'll need a new game mode.

Bad luck, the players in my first game averaged rank 4-5. (Easy 5 stars)

Shima torps have been massively buffed since 'the good old days'. The old ones were 20km, 20967 damage, 67 knots with a 2.1km surface detection (rubbish in todays game) Have I got my math right? Minotaur can only fire 24 salvos before smoke runs out with the new mechanic.

Most people have real problems getting torpedo boats to work. They're hard, imagine your BB salvo taking 50 seconds to reach 8km. Shira needed the nerf to bring her in line with all the other destroyers. If you want to make torpedo boats more user friendly then all torpedoes need a buff (inc RU and US) There's no point have one or two extreme ships (Kamikaze or 16 torp Shira) and leave the rest for a small group of good players. Oh yeah, Belfast and tier 7+ balance is becoming super retarded.

Not bad, Farragut C is has OK AA. Check out the highest number of aircraft I've shot down this season with Hatsuharu. (16)

0.6.9 = Defensive AA fire test for the t8+ BBs. Maybe CCs get a go. 0.7.0 = Launch? (tbh I'm loosing interest very quickly)

It'll be a combo of WG fleecing RN fans for a 'rare' ship and paying for operation Dynamo + associated costs. £16 is outrageous for a standard RN tier 6 DD with HMS Grenade camo. I'm happy waiting for the free version (not really, I want a t6 RN DD to mess about in... Anthony is great)

Doesn't count. Sims has the 2nd or 3rd best destroyer AA per tier in the game. It's more usable than most tier 7 cruisers. Every other DD in the game struggles to shoot down 1 plane. Actually Hatsu is one of the few with decent AA. Totally balanced. (Gallant is almost the same price as Perth!)

Defensive AA on the tier 9 and 10 is garbage. Both have a 24 DPS Oerlikon aura that gets buffed to 240 DPS for 40 seconds with dAA. This is useless agasint tier 9-10 planes, it's just a token nod for the tier 8 bastard. Take radar instead. The tier 8 bastard has a 128 DPS Oerlikon aura that gets buffed to 640 DPS for 40 seconds (786 DPS at 2.9km with BFT/AFT)

Nelson has been moved into the premium tier 7 slot. The new t8+ consumable is defensive fire that only buff Orelikons. Conqueror and Lion now have Orelikons over single Bofors. Hahaha.

Gallant is well balanced agasint the other tier 6 DDs. Hatsuharu is a better all round scout. Shame they made it so expensive, £15 on a stock tier 6 RN DD with the wrong camo is laughable. I'll wait for the free silver ship or 30-50% sale.

There seems to be some confusion about the 14" guns under performing. It looks like WG have specifically designed them to burn KM BBs into the ground. WIP 0.6.8 stats puts them at the top of the whole line for HE spam, they're brutal. (12 x 16.5" Conqueror is arguably better)

They do have strange rangefinder 'ears', any idea why they're towards the front of the turret and not the rear?

They can fire AP but the AP is utter garbage (QE has worse AP than Hood) These are HE spammers with super HE shells (high fire chance, high damage, 1/4 pen)

It looks nothing like a US BB. 'Monarch' is literally a KGV with the OG 15" gun layout, lattice masts and the aircraft catapult equipment intact. The KGV model is the 1944 refit with the aircraft gear removed, no idea why they said 1941 on the poster? 'Monarch' is just as realistic as Gneisenau with those paper secondary guns. Yuck, 'Monarch' still sounds like utter I'm going to call this tier 8 KGV 'Anson' from now on (unless someone can identify a better name from the camo?) True. What would be the most annoying premium at tier 7? KGV LULspam or Nelson LULheal?

This has nothing to do with making a ship work at any given tier, it's all about making money. The 14" premium tier 7 is currently better than the 'free' 15" tier 8 tech tree version. Buy that and lolspam srcub Monarchs that can't afford a real ship. Just like Belfast and the rest.

WOWS Monarch is a KGV in her planned 15" 3x3 layout. They should just change the name from Monarch to KGV to avoid any confusion and make DoY or PoW the OP HE spammin tier 7 premium.

Wallis Simpson would make a more interesting name than Monarch.

Why the did you call it 'Monarch'? You called the tier 7 KM BB Gneisenau, so why can't you give it an appropriate name? King Edward VIII, Jellicoe, Beatty and Anson were planned for the approved 15" KGV, why no use one of those?
