Random battle destroyers that are fun for torping BBs? V = Tough call, maybe the one with 68 knot nukes that reload every 40s? Seems balanced agasint ships that go 20 knots and turn like bricks. VI = Gallant > Fubuki/Shino > Hatsuharu (TA) VII = Shiratsuyu (TA + reload booster) > Leberecht Maass > Lenin > Akatsuki (type 8) > Mahan (pumps out more torps per min than Kamikaze) VIII = Kagero (reload booster) > Z-23

Anthony is a tier 6 model placed at tier 5 for Dunkirk only. Tier 5 RN gunboat (Jian Wei) = 5 x 4.7" BL guns, 2x3 short range (6km) torpedoes. Tier 5 RN torpboat (guess) = 4 x 4.7" BL or 4" QF guns, 2x3 long range (7.5km?) torpedoes. The I-class is tough to fit in. They're as good, if not better than Shiratsuyu and WEP as torpedo boats (scouting, striking and close range brawling) Gallant is the best DD at tier 6 for those reasons, you can't give it quintuple launchers without a major nerf or crazy powercreep. Glowworm is the most famous 'I-class' and 5 gun flotilla leaders will be the ones to get shorter range cruiser torpedoes. So, they're back of the line for premium and tech tree candidates. We won't see RN destroyer leaders/gunboats for a long, long time. Pan Asia gunboats have taken that slot with French and Italians probably coming next. The torpedo line isn't even in production. Here's the premium camo for Gadjah Mada. (HMS Jupiter in early 1942)

There's a few of references to MegaZao in the Armada video, sinking a broadside Zao with HE is the best.

Fuso has amazing horizontal and vertical dispersion, it looks like GC has the same. 27 knots and fantastic stealth will make her very playable with tier 7 MM.

It's essential for MMO tier/calibre progression. Beat up the lower tier guy, get beaten up by the higher tier guy.

See my last post. The gun sound is a place holder from Perth. 0.6.10 will bring new sounds (16" not 6") and a fancy premium model. It's a bit of a cursed ship for me too, all I get are tier 8-9 standard battles. I never had this luck in the other tier 7 BBs.

Yep. The 3-3-3 front gun layout is just so awesome with accurate guns. Can't wait for the final model and sound effects. Nelson currently uses the same 6" gun sound effect as Perth for those that don't know (rushed out for gamescon)

Radar breaks all visibility based game play (islands, smoke, surface detection etc) It's the dumbest mechanic I've ever seen in a PvP game.

We already have premium ammo (flags)

iChase has been make these high drama, attention seeking videos for the last year. GF was the ideal vehicle to generate internet pats on the back.

Graf Zeppelin is an insult to paying customers

So, rushing a premium CV out for gamesthingy ended badly? Oh dear. -
Best advice? Play it like a normal tier 7 battleship. Check out this hilarious Duguay-Trouin vs Belfast MM.

It's grossly overpowered at tier 7 with standard J/K/N stats. 6.1km surface detection with all that firepower?!? You only need a 13 degrees to shoot all 6 guns forward too (can't wait) Apparently they're not in production and the Thornycroft R (T3) and Thornycroft Leader (T5) won't be in any RN DD tech tree. The difference between Anthony and Gallant models is quite impressive, so you could count that as 2. I prefer the smaller/rounded superstructure of the A-class, hopefully they'll reuse it for the tech tree tier 6.

Brits: Special case across the board?
creamgravy replied to FishDogFoodShack's topic in General Discussion
They have the same armour, it's tier plating/superstructure that's different. This is world of tanks MMO on water, tier 8 destroyers have better 'armour' than tier 7 CLs like Belfast. Move up the tree and beat up lower tiers. -
Hunter is the best promo camo.

This is my highest potential damage game in Nelson so far. I don't have JoaT and got sunk 10s before my last heal came online.

Nelson - passive gameplay and camping intensifies!!

(hit one heal a bit too soon) I wonder if we'll see a tier 8 Rodney? A 32mm bow would make her one of the best tanks in the game.- 81 replies

Learn about the overmatch mechanic. What you can and can't do with your bow is essential knowledge. You also have better stats in Nelson all your other BBs, like Alabama and Scharnhorst. WR will stabilise to your average eventually.- 81 replies

Kaga is on sale in the client for 6790 gold.
-
How many existing Belfast owners would buy a tier 7 Crown Colony, Swiftsure or Dido premium?
-
All premium CVs will have a silly high WR.
-
Kaga seems fine to me. Saipan and Belfast are super oppressive and need to be removed.
-
Your both miles off the 308,005 damage record in a Minekaze.

Normal premium tier 7. It's refreshing having a high skill ceiling BB for once. I guess old Nagato, Alabama, Iowa etc was similar too. Or Yamato vs Yamato. No more roll face over keyboard BB bow tankers. I've played 7 games and been rammed 3 times by other BBs, guess Nelson is the perfect ship for those die hard flags! Fantastic BB. Here's my highest damage received so far, not far off the theoretical maximum. Time to try SE?!? (Pushes up the theoretical maximum to 180,602)

That's with 100% intact AA agasint tier 6 dive bombers, take some HE spam and you'll struggle. ...but carriers are everywhere looking to feed off 3-4 Nelsons per game. Your Edinburgh captain will be a fine choice. Long term agasint occasional Saipan or endless Kaga reserve games? The dispersion on Nelson is absolutely nuts.
