Tier 10 cruisers in WOWS are more like battleships compared to LNT heavy cruisers (9,000 to 10,000 tons with guns up to 203mm)

US Cruiser Line announced to split up "soon tm"

Pepsi broadside weight = 1,180 kg (4,720 kg per min) Graf Spee broadside weight = 1,800 kg (5,400 kg per min) It'll be great having another powerful CA that doesn't rely on a crazy reload buff -
Yep, Cleveland has perfect arcs for island camping and the AP actually overtakes Minotaur/Neptune shells past 10km. Awesome guns. They can literally put Cleveland at tier 8 without any buffs and it would still be a high pick for ranked. A 6s reload would be... fun. Helena, Cleveland, Seattle and Worcester all have the same arcs. KM, French and Russian lines are balanced as snipe at max range cruisers.

A 15 gun CL at tier 7? I feel like we've been here before... -
I'm struggling with ships 6km away! Feels like you need to stay at 12-14km, anything closer and it turns into shotgun Mikasa. Edit: I've gone back to the 406 guns, they seem more consistent.

Isn't 'Sales and Surprises' related to the WG US premium shop only? Sloppy copy/pasta from WG EU unless they're unifying literally everything for Steam.

Vanguard was modified quite a bit over the 1938 Lion design we have at tier 9, it's bigger and better! Lions accuracy is shocking compared to the lower tiers. :(

Nelson's armour is accurate, it's really good for a tier 7 when angled. The main issue, as always, is citadel location. WG are terribly inconsistent at simplifying these hit boxes and Nelson's is no different. Red = WG's box. Yellow = Critical rooms most other ships use. (KGV uses the lowest deck)

Italian light cruisers are balanced for game play that's between RN CL and IJN CA. Myoko only has a 15.5km range. Think of Arbuzzi as a tier 7 Atago.

It's a shame gamemodels3d don't list drag and ricochet angles, however you can see shell data from 0.6.9 here > https://mustanghx.github.io/ship_ap_calculator/ (warning some RN BB values like ricochet angles have changed since then) QE, Hood and Monarch = 0.3379 Cd Warspite = 0.3415 Cd (Shells are only 0.02s slower to 16km in game) Both 406 and 419mm guns have a 0.2353 Cd!

You can't cancel retraining, here's what I'd do. Retrain the captain for a US silver ship, similar to Atlanta, that you enjoy playing occasionally and want to keep. Cleveland or Farragut are great for PvE operations and occasional ranked. (Cheap and fun) Stick with Gearing for clan wars (you'll get a free rental version) etc Then. f2p 1. Spend 200,000 credits to half the XP requirement to 87,500. 2. Use Elite Commander XP for the remaining XP (the + next to the captains level) or just grind it out. $$. 1. Spend 500 gold to complete retraining.

AFT is fantastic with Z-46/52 rail guns but it's too expensive for a competitive domination build without CVs. For clan wars I'd go with the standard build (PM, LS, SE, CE, RL) with one of these packages depending on meta/maps. - Island camping (SI + JoaT) - Open water scouting (AR + TAE) Vigilance would be a good choice for sonar cooldown as Z-52 looks like a brick. Also, sell Perth for Z-52 premium camo? Whaaa??

Comrades, Orlan finally received a much needed buff! Now it can be no.1 OP seal clubber ship on the EU server. Oh wait... -

1-2 extra puffs? Totally fixes low tier RN CLs! -

Watching a low tier cruiser, dead in the water and burning to death isn't fun. Nice buff Although the main issue for me is still fire stacking. 3 fires is just too punishing for BBs. -
Intentional gimping of (non-premium ship) BASE XP for the Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya marathon?
creamgravy replied to AnEvilJoke's topic in General Discussion
^ Me too.. Base XP does seem lower, check out this Blys game with tier 9 MM. -

Aigle is the first proper gunboat at tier 6, assuming they fix HE. 45 knots with speed boost is sweet but overall I think it's balanced. T-61 looks like the next 'opps OP' ship they'll 'ban' after 1 year of sales. -
New smoke rules and how very few actually know them?
creamgravy replied to Thracen's topic in General Discussion
Yep, you can proxy spot ships for yourself if they fire main guns. It's a huge buff to CLs and DDs as BBs can't derp smoke without getting detected. -
Devblog include camo so it's 9.5km, still the best per tier! (not including Winfast) Duca degli Abruzzi DPS Range (km) 100 mm /47 OTO 1928 27 4 37 mm/54 Breda 1932 46 3.5 20-мм/65 Breda 1935 20 2 Same build/tactics as Duca d'Aosta agasint CVs. At least you get defensive AA and Hydro. Aosta has standard damage output for tier 6, more than La Gasoline. It's just the fire chance that's low, hopefully the 55 cals are better. meh still 7%. AP performance is a bit off too. AP penetration 5km 10km 15km 152 mm/57 MK-5 215 138 91 Duca d'Aosta 197 121 76 152 mm/50 Mk XXI 193 118 73 Duca degli Abruzzi 173 104 63

Fumtu pointed out the 1000 HE alpha damage comes from Bougainville and should be 2000. Here's some updated shell arcs. Unfortunately the heavier shell can't quite overtake Cyclone's 130mm shells at 10km, so AFT isn't needed with a 12.8km stock range. Hitting moving ships at 14km+ will be hard. HE output is very good, although the firing arcs could be terrible like Cyclone (50 degrees to shoot all 5 guns) Tier 6 destroyers Tier Guns Reload (s) HE Alpha Fire chance (%) Pen (mm) IFHE (mm) Hit rate (%) Broadside alpha HE DPM Fires per minute DE Farragut B 6 5 4 1800 5 21 27 50% 2,250 16,875 1.4 1.9 Aigle 6 5 4.8 2000 9 23 30 50% 2,500 15,625 2.0 2.5 Farragut C 6 4 4 1800 5 21 27 50% 1,800 13,500 1.1 1.5 Gnevny 6 4 5 1900 8 22 29 50% 1,900 11,400 1.4 1.7 Anshan 6 4 5 1900 7 22 29 50% 1,900 11,400 1.2 1.6 T-61 6 4 4 1500 8 21 27 50% 1,500 11,250 1.7 2.2 Gallant 6 4 5 1700 8 20 26 50% 1,700 10,200 1.4 1.7 Shinonome 6 6 9 1800 8 21 27 50% 2,700 9,000 1.2 1.5 Ernst Gaede 128mm 6 4 5.1 1500 8 21 27 50% 1,500 8,824 1.4 1.7 Ernst Gaede 150mm 6 4 7.5 2200 12 25 33 50% 2,200 8,800 1.4 1.6 Hatsuharu 6 4 7.5 1800 8 21 27 50% 1,800 7,200 0.9 1.2 Fubuki 6 4 8 1800 8 21 27 50% 1,800 6,750 0.9 1.1 Overall Aigle looks like a tier 6 Blyca. Awesome! Edit: New info. She can do 45.36 knots with the speed boost and flag! The 1000 alpha isn't a typo, hopefully someone at WG will see the mistake soon.

It's a Fletcher with US smoke, dAA and a theoretical 32,604 HP at tier 8. Yes, you'd take this over a Benson any day of the week. -
Wonky as in 'RM cruiser design that doesn't have a 4x2 gun layout' wonky. The 9.5km surface detection gives you a slight advantage over Fiji, it's going to be very competitive.
