Nelson's hull is wrapped in 32mm plating, you can bounce almost everything at mid range when angled correctly. No AP shell can overmatch the deck. Add the pre nerf superheal and you've got a crazy tier 7 BB. Mine usually takes 110,000 to 130,000 damage to sink, with potential damage of 2-3 million. You can't brawl with a 25mm bow and high citadel but that's no big deal. Nothing comes close to the ability to tank damage whilst having 9 guns always shooting back.

SEA group has new info on the ally airstrip for the PvE operation. https://sea-group.org/?p=3642&lang=en It gets a 4-4-4-5 loadout and with comes with tier 9 torpedo bombers. (same stats as Aichi B7A2) Is that Salem attacking the strip in the picture, hopefully DoY is part of the operation too.

You can already test out this version of DoY Just sail your KGV with all the fire reduction bonuses (fire lasts 34 seconds) and never use the heal or plane consumable. Sonar gets very limited use for a super squashy ship like this and dAA is far too situational. The Warspite repair is very situational too.

If a Flint, Belfast or any other ship smokes up and starts shooting you in a QE. RUN, HIDE and NEVER shoot until the smoke runs out (unless your perma spotted by a DD/CV) The only reason they've smoked up is to farm your slow/fat a**, don't give them an easy target.

Guys, this KGV hull was the old free XP ship back when Nelson was in the tech tree. They just haven't changed the cost to 99,999 gold when they copy/pasted the ship. They're testing Aigle (an HE spamming gunboat) with useless HE shells copy/pasted from the tier 1 (which has since been buffed) and this error has made it all the way through to the live server! Anyone 'testing' this ship is wasting their time. If DoY is a real premium and not for the new tier 7 operation then I'll eat my hat.

Soon(TM) Wish they'd hurry up. Kidd has got me hyped about a RN destroyer leader line based around one set of torpedoes and a heal.

Back on topic, here's the AA values for Andrea Doria and Caio Duilio. Andrea Doria 1942 DPS Range (km) 90mm/50 OTO (10x1) 95 4 37mm Breda 1932 (8x2) 1939 (3x1) 120 3.5 20mm Breda (8x2) 48 2 Compared to the best BB AA at tier 6. Secondary range will be limited to 4km and I bet they remove the 3 single 37mm Bredas for a total of 93 mid range DPS. If Giulio Cesare is anything to go by then these two will be the most balanced BBs at tier 6.

You really think WG is going to release another tier 7 375k free XP RN BB, that's unplayable in PvP compared to all the other BBs?

I bet defensive AA will be a common consumable for BB bots designed for high tier operations. CVs, like Kaga, can delete BBs when they spawn otherwise.

From SEA-group Richelieu is being tested as the first 40 knot BB. You get the same consumable as Martel (+20% for 180s)

It's not a big change, 300 HP to 200 HP. Only DP mounts with 800 HP are worth investing in and that's still questionable. Ideally AA ships have main DP guns with 4000+ HP.

We don't have enough RN BBs at tier 7, give it little speed buff and it can fill the void.

Tier 5 is a real ship with real refit history, they can't magically give it 100,000hp or 26 knots like other paper (or real) ships that didn't have WW2 refits. Shouldn't they have 43,000hp and do 21 knots? Normandie making 30 knots is hilarious though!

Cleveland dominated last ranked season and is usually the one of the highest win ratio silver cruisers in the game over a 2 week period. Actually, Cleveland and Des Moines are the top 2 if you look at win rate/number of games played. It's still crazy OP.

I still think Salem and DoY are 'Final Frontier' operation ships.

Is anything major coming in 0.6.13? (PanAsia destroyers? Final Frontier operation? etc) How are you going to balance USS Helena for tier 7 and Pensacola for tier 6? Bougainville HE alpha is increasing from 1000 to 1400 in 0.6.13. Will Agile's HE alpha be corrected to 2000 too? (small hint to fix Agile HE shell values, which were originally taken from Bougainville)

They've started 'spoiling' all ships and mechanics on facebook before they hit supertest server (for ad revs?) Asian/RU data miners detailed all the changes to Cyclone and Anthony, everyone said those were rubbish premiums too.

DoY would make is a great counter to Roma. The RN already utterly dominate tier 7 with all these under tiered OP ships, we don't need another.
