Actually if you think about it, shokaku's two torp squads is not much more effective than lexington's one squad, so you can say the same about shokaku (not having enough fighters to shut down opponent's both fighter and bombers). So it is not really unfair in the first sight. Let the stats tell the rest I guess.

Right, I might have been just frustrated to see lexington going from having more AND better fighters to more BUT worse ones. Regarding the Barrage skill of the fighters, I tried it out and discovered that it shoots down friendly (including your own from other squadrons) planes just as fast as enemy ones. Also, as the firing zone is moving with the fighters, it is actually more effective against large number of squadrons (often bombers) cruising and unattended (I killed 3 of taiho's torp squads with one skill from one fighter squad from essex), than to be used against 'stationary' fighters dogfighting. So no it is not one click battle. It's the choice between two clicks. Also the placement of the barrage is very important and not so easy to master. On the barrage skill, I found that if the squadron is attacked by enemy fighters, the skill cannot start and end properly, while if it is already ongoing it will continue until it expires and get stuck in the ending stage. I believe it is a bug and needs to be fixed, because if not using barrage near enemy fighters would be basically throwing your fighters. Also I find that sometimes my fighter squads take mystery fire when they're not engaging any enemy. It will continuously take damage that persists after they land and take off again, resulting in planes falling from the sky near my own carrier without anyone else around. It must be a bug. Finally I noticed the speed increase for empty bombers, but it seems to be temporary, lasting briefly after the bomb drop. Also now after the bomb drop the planes are forced to return to dropping site before responding to further commands instead of just turn around and leave as it is now.

Also, I would appreciate it if my feedback receives any response. If not, I am inclined to not providing any more in the future.

Why does Shokaku's upgraded fighter have the highest DPS in the game, +40 from its stock, while lexington's fighter upgrade only receives +10 in DPS? If you are trying to decrease the fighter difference between tiers, Shokaku's fighter is definitely overwhelming for tier 7s and is contradictory to your intention, isn't it?

Why, so now ryujo and hiryu get the mighty 3/1/1 loadout while US CVs are still stuck with 1/1/1, and lexington's fighter has been nerfed to crap... Also even Taiho gets 2/3/2 now. THAT's what you call 'nerf mid-tier IJN CV'? I haven't tested the actual fighter gameplay yet, because we get absolutely no free exp and have to grind everything in two days. That's not testing, that's torture. By the look of it US CV's can be removed from the game and no one would notice because no one would play them anyways!
