As we are nearing the new snowflake event I thought I would post a poll to see what people expect to receive from the event if they are able to play all the requisite battles My personal expectations based on current port population are 28 containers, 6875 steel and 73200 coal given that I am currently grinding my way through the Amalfi (I did not get it in the previous event) and I am also grinding my way through the coal requirement for the Thunderer and currently have approximately 46000 (even with the 25% discount token I will need 189000 which still leaves a shortfall of 70k coal to be acquired between now and the end of the snowflake event)

Think yourself lucky to only have 1m wasted XP that will cost you doubloons to currently convert I have all lines apart from the Italian cruisers from T1 through to T10 and I am sitting on in excess of 17.6 million experience that would cost me an extraordinary quantity of doubloons to convert (conversion table says 80668 doubloons or approximately £260.00)of which in excess of 11.55 million is on premium ships

I have both the Georgia and the smolensk, I am working on the 252k coal for the Thunderer (Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds cd)currently have 46k coal and need with the 25% coupon £189k coal so still need a further 143k coal of which I expect to get 76200 plus the clan bonus so will still need 67k coal, so there goes my steel yet again

My ships are as follows: - 28 T10 ships, (I might get more by the end of the event or the containers might contain ships) 31 T9 ships (currently working through the grind for T9 Italian Cruiser, still need 110k experience) 54 T8 ships 48 T7 ships 46 T6 ships 43 T5 ships Total currently 250 T5 + ships Clan bonus modifier steel - 0% coal 20%, my figures are for base amount so an extra 15k coal can be added to my total

The announcement in the developers blog only states 75 steel for T8 and T9 ships, if it is different for premiums, please provide source

The choices are not optimistic, there are ship collectors out there who will have every ship that has been introduced to the game, I am still short a few from the maximum and I have over 330 ships in port, some of the players will be approaching if not past the 350 ship mark

Well, it seems that we whales are still active, as to amount, no idea, I would have to check both the entire paypal history for the more than 4 years I have been playing and also the current account history for the same time as I stopped buying through paypal some time ago but seeing as I have most of the purchaseable premiums, if not all of them apart from the Poltava which will be added soon and I have also bought premium time, crates etc you can work it out on current prices and probably still come up short on actual amount

Well, I seem to have some luck this time, when I went to buy, I kept getting error (this was explained earlier in both threads) so I therefore started in the missions, first mission completed I dropped a Black Tirpitz and 1 days premium, completed 2 more missions and only dropped camouflages, then tried the shop again and bought a 5 bundle, dropped a Black Sims and a Black Scharnhorts plus 3 camo bundles, tried my luck with the armory containers, just camos, but also bought the 5k coal for 250 doubloons from the doubloon missions as need the coal for Thunderer

Well, in the first set of free crates I received a Black Tirpitz, so a free ship to add to my collection, already have the ordinary Tirpitz so now have tow of her same as Asashio from last year Just purchased the 5 containers bundle and recieved Black Sims and Black Scharnhorst so that is 3 extra ships today

I have finished tw coal grind for Smolensk and I am now working on the coal grind for Thunderer (however, in December WG usually give a new 25% off token so that will considerably reduce the quantity of coal needed) I currently have 28k and need 252k (189K with coupon)

If I remember correctly the last time critical set of directives, as soon as one finished a directive the next directive was immediately available, I also think that this was for the Prinz Eitel Friedrich but I might be mistaken there as it was sometime in 2018 and we are now nearly in 2020

Well, |I have a shed load of ships, all silver ships apart from the last 3 Itsalian cruisers, plus a lot of premium ships as well - current port population of approximately 330 ships of all types, however, un;ess absolutely forced to, I have not played a CV game since the CV rework as I think the CV work is in urgent need of a rework itself

So far the directives look doable, unless WG throw some spanners in the works it all depends unpon what the fine print for the directives is (such as specific nation, type, tier or ship) I currently do not plan on buying Gorizia unless something changes and currently do not plan on dumping doubloons for a speedier build, however, if the T10 containers are kind and I do end up with extra doubloons, this might change

Same here, somewhere over the 300 ship mark currently (322 I think) but this will increase with the advent of upgrade 0.8.10 today and I nearly have enough to finish off the tech tree reissue for Z52 (will still be some 7k short of research bonuses for the Colbert though) and the coal will help me towards Thunderer as I have just finished the coal grind for the Smolensk, I can foresee lots of battles in Co-op mode though over the holidays

I actually have all of the tech tree battleships, the ones I like playing most are as follows: - Yamato and Musashi - in the right circumstances these can be game winners Kremlin and Soviet Soyuz, as above but more situational due to there short main battery range Montana, Iowa, Grosser Kurfurst and Friedrich der Grosse - good all round but nothing special Conqueror and Lion, both suffer from the Royal Navy short fuse AP so are basically only worth the HE shells Republique - turrets are extremely far part Izuma is a very poor ship compared to the permium

The Royal Navy built the most dreadnought class ships by a long way comapred to any of the other major naval powers of the early 20th Century and yet there are comparatively few Royal Navy ships in the game Japan - 14 battleships and battlecruisers built but 20 in game = 142% USA - 35 battleships and large cruisers built - 20 in game = 60% USSR - 6 battleships and battlecruisers built - 15 in game = 250% Germany - 29 battleships and battlecruisers built - 13 in game currently (rumours of Siegfried) = 45% Italy - 10 battleships built - 2 in game currently (Italian lines will be introduced) - 20% Royal Navy - 60 battleships, battlecruisers and large cruisers built - 15 in game = 25%

Just played Kongo, selected Zara but got Kongo, fortunately it was a very good game for me with 16k XP, a win, 2 frags and I survived as well

I have just had a couple of battles since 17:30 today (Sunday 27th October 2019 Anno Domini) where the ping ratios has been jumping about like crazy, one minute it is at 300 and the next minute it is at 1800 and the ship keeps stuttering, can not identify targets at time and they are not where they are supposed to be when you shoot at them Is anyone else getting this

I actually started this thread because of the perceived and actual discrimination against the Royal Navy with regards to Battleships and Battlecruisers (there is actually a bias here as well beause WG class the hood as a battleship and Alaska etc as Large cruisers (arguably the Hood is a battleship in all but name)) Historically there were a total of 175 dreadnought type ships constructed worldwide between 1906 and 1946 which is the period when this game is supposed to be set in. Of those 175 a large proportion were constructed in British Yards as follows: - For the Royal Navy under various Acts of Parliament Battleships: - Dreadnought, Bellerophon class (3), St Vincent class (3), Neptune, Colossus class (2), Orion class (4), King George V (1911) class (4), Iron Duke class (4), Queen Elizabeth class (5), Royal Soveriegn class (5), Nelson Class (2), King George V class (5), Vanguard - total 40 Battlecruisers: - Hood, Repulse, Renown, Tiger, Queen Mary, Lion, Princess Royal, Indefatigable class (3). What I am saying is that WG seem to be ignoring ships such as the Erin, Agincourt, Repulse/Renown (after rebuild they were different), Splendid Cats (could use Queen Mary as a name here), Courageous/Glorious (as built, before conversion to CV and als as the CV variant), Tiger, Royal Soveriegn's, this would even up the disparity

I have all the FXP ships including Fries (wish I had not though as it is a bit problematical with only 4 guns and no torpedos), used a lot because I have reset several lines for the research points as I want those ships as well, currently only got 42k and need a lot more the finish the Russian DD reset (on T8 currently) Waiting for the next FXP ship, working towards Smolensk (equivalent of 204k coal currently and need 244k) will then work towards thunderer
