Ships should be available for everyone all of them... Rewards should be limited to cosmetic bragging right items only. Like special Camo's or badges. Things that do not shift balance in anyway.

You still don't get the point.... If it was medals or other cosmetic it wouldn't be a problem. Problem is the stuff you can get for this steel. IF you really want to compare it I can give you an example. It would similar to say like in F1 the top performers gets access to turbocharged racers and the rest don't. That's the core of the problem...

Have all CV's except GZ, I don't play them because I really sucks playing CV's in its current form and I don't want to be a liability to the team. I actual accepted back then that I probably never would get a chance to play them regularly and merely had purchased them for my collector weakness. Do I see myself playing them after the rework?? Yes. Do I think the rework is perfect? No! They had a chance to make the AA on the ships purely skill based. So when you raised the sight above the horizon it would automatically switch to the AA guns and you had to lead it manually, That would remove RNG completely and probably be much more fun. And you had to chose between defending your ship or continuing engaging surface targets. Squadrons should be smaller with a maximum of two attack runs but with more aircrafts in the attack. And yes I think that you should be able to control your ship with aircraft up for a short duration maybe 20-30 sec without having to sacrifice your flight.

Think that the RTS style game play maybe could have been viable if the strafe mechanics had been removed 1-1½ years ago.. In my eyes that is the major skill gap creator in the current game play.
