I can only speak for my self. The chance of getting to play with the largest cruisers ever built and commissioned in their original intended role. Cruiser killers.. The real ships came to late for this. Besides that they are some of the best looking ships.

Wouldn't it be okay. If the combined numbers of actual available aircraft in the match for CV would be the same. Then it would be the same total damage potential for that match. An example Ranger TB could be a squadron with 6 aircraft with 2x3 plane attack runs. Total amount on deck same as now. just smaller squadrons with fewer attack runs. It would feel less frustrating seen from the CV's perspective

I would prefer if the amount of attacks from a squadron were reduced to max 2 attack runs, increase the alpha slightly so it dosen't feels like death by thousand paper cuts. Just enough so you feel getting rewarded without increasing the total damage potential much. Adjust the AA values so no ship is immune to strikes. Some planes should be able to get through and strike from both top and bottom tier CV's.

Over spotting???? The only ships you would be able to spot without losing the entire squadron is the other CV and their BB. your planes will be slaughtered by Worcester's and Des Moines..

Okay... You know a good CV player don't surf the corner most far away from the battle??? So yes there is a very potent risk of getting blapped by a BB... It just takes a few seconds being spotted from the other CV while relocating to a safer position. Or a DD going the flank and chase you down.. Not only is the DD better concealed but also really hard to kill after last hotfix..

Something has to be done about the AA cruisers.. Imagine you just have researched and bought Ryujo or Ranger and start with the stock aircraft complement. That's biplanes against T-VIII AA and utterly slow airspeed.
