Trick is to stay about max secondary range kiting away.

My 19 point Alsace manual secondary plus IFHE skipper tours my Gastogne and Jean Bart as well.. That mix of 100 and 152 mm guns is furious against DD's and cruisers... After all these ships have a De Grasse and 2 Harugumo's ( similar) as secondary

I say it all depends on your own goals. If you're gung ho to get early access for something anybody can get for free just by waiting a patch or two. Then you must expect to pour in some money. I'm just satisfied with the coal, credits and doubloons I harvested from this event. If a mission drops from one of the free containers its just seen as a bonus. Most likely none drops in my favour but do I care if not? No I already have what I want from this event.... But we all have the equal chance to get something out of this.. Don't think drop chances favours anyone.. If so I should gotten a mission just by the cheer numbers of cash I have spend on this game... So yes its just random who which gets what and peace with that.

Just by playing roughly 240 ships with flakes in co-op.... And no haven't gotten any of the early access DD's

Luck has nothing to do with this.. Yes I have a lot of ships also most premiums.. Guess someone has to pay so others can play for free.

To be honest I think the Royal Navy event was much better, when the BB's was about to arrive. No early access, you only secured T-III-V for free to your account collecting plans by playing missions. No RNG drops..

Besides that, I really doubt I'm going to like this line in the first place... If they anything near the Terrible in gameplay I'll might pass on this line.

Exactly my thoughts too, why invest real money into something you'll get for free later? I have bought premium ships before I could get for free later, but only those which came with a doubloon compensation with the unlock of said ship.

I have 297 ships in port so its about 240 eligible for flakes

Its actually one of the very few events where collectors are favoured.. If I knock off every flake on all ships eligible in my port I get 1710 republic tokens and 24.900 coal plus 1000 doubloons and 20.000 coal for buying the first 4 bundles.

Think I'll stick with the 1000 doubloons from the first 4 bundles.. Have no intension to use real money to get a tech tree T-IX DD I can get for free later.
