Like any other ship in the game you have to find out their strengths and weaknesses and play accordingly to these.. you can citadel nuke a lot of cruisers with the 15 cm guns at close range.. and torps are not bad at all.. detection range sucks when firing the guns

Right time and spot is everything I guess lol Its not uncommon to see numerous "noob" BB drivers in a lot of matches. NOT saying it applies for all.. Some are quite a challenge to defeat.

Off topic but....... Not as hard as it sounds. Did it myself in the T-VI German DD.. two BB's sailing in straight lines and the CV as the last ship on the enemy team...

Think its safe to say. If this happened in a normal company the responsible causing a crapstorm of this magnitude would have to find a new job.

If WG-EU continues to treat the EU server different than the rest, only result will be alienating the players even more and push people away from the game.

Nothing is going to happen this side of new year. Those in command making any decisions will not be available before... Bet they hope sea is a bit calmer when they return lol

Greed is the only one word to describe this.... Has anyone calculated the total price for a complete and full version of this game including all ships, camos and port slots?? If I had to convert every elite ship xp in my port to free xp it would be arround 900,-€ Even if I could afford it I wouldn't pay that much for a game... Already invested more than I should in port slots, ships and camos. And now WG spit me in the face with this.... A really nice way to treat your paying customers....

Luck is a big part when you excel in a DD.. More than once I have won both the confederate and high caliber award in a US DD and in the very next match I was the first to die.. I think the detection range has a lot to do with it, when the DD's are singled out as targets immediately they are spotted. If they were visible farther out they might be ignored until they were in torpedo range. After all it should be possible to detect a DD whatever the nation farther away than the current figures is according to nation. After all in real life they are not small ships. I think it is ridiculous that any DD can launch torps outside the detection range..

Just one question should it be possible to receive critical engine damage and still haven't lost any HP what so ever??? Tried to take a screen shot but every I take turns out completely black.

Yep the punch is nowhere even close to those on the Omaha, get in a knife fight with a Omaha and the shear rof and punch from him you're soon dead.

Bright side of the fight to get past T IV the hard way is that you are not a bad player .

Well at least I got past the Karlsruhe trauma and got my Königsberg again... Königsberg is absolutely not a bad ship at all, if you play her right.. Use the long range of the guns to your advantage and you'll be fine. Even though some more punch from the AP's would be desirable. .

Its quite frustrating that some people launch torps from second line even not in range of their target. have no count of how many times I have been serious damaged or sunk by friendly torps. But that is alot. Seriously some kind of automatic flagging friendly torp hits would be nice. a prober fine for the perpetrator could be that the XP and credits plus full repair from the match and the one after. Should be his victims bounty.... This way people would be more careful firing torps.

The only citadel hits I ever made in this piece of garbage has been on Bouge and Langley CVE's.... Never on a other cruiser, not even at another Karlsruhe... Simply underscore the lack of punch in these guns.

BB and CV's is more or less the primadona's of this game.. they demand the cruisers to be their personal bodyguards. But the way this point system calculate points would mean nearly no points to the cruisers in each battle. I have tried been AA cruiser for a cv shot down 14 aircraft did no damage on any surface units and ended up with nearly zero credits and XP. So BB's is often let alone by the cruisers wanting their share of the bounty...If something should be done on the DD side a limit on reloads of the torps would be fair.. That way the DD's couldn't spam torps like they do now.

The next techtree must be Viking longboats then

I almost suspect WG made the German cruiser that bad on purpose to counter the bad torps of the Russian DD line LOL. They need some easy prey

It will go faster earning free xp with any other ship than win enough ship XP to advance to the next level LOL And less frustrating

I have never been more disappointed with any game related as this utterly disaster of the Kolberg and Karlsruhe... If I hadn't been knowing that the Königsberg is a okay ship I would have scrapped the entire German cruiser line after the Dresden...... Think I'll earn enough free xp points on other ships and bypass the Karlsruhe which is an absolute game killer....

Königsberg is kinda okay.. Need some more punch in AP to be up to same power as similar caliber guns. The Kolberg and Karlsruhe is outright diasters They even don't match anything of their own tiers.. Hermelin pack more punch in its guns than the two others.. Dresden is okay for its tier in my book even though some more damage from its gun would be nice

I'm a bit worried when a Beta tester says " who plays the lower tiers anyway?" Does that mean that the lower Tier haven't been tested??

Well you'll need to play the lower tiers to get to the higher tier... I'm really close to give up on the Karlsruhe... No fun at all
