Fun tier 6 premium ships for operations?
Matchbreakers replied to CaravellaCaravan's topic in General Discussion
Duca d'Aosta is a decent choice, it is fast and very manouverable so you can control the engagement and position easily with it's low detection. London as others have suggested. Warspite, Dunkerque or Mutsu are probably better choices than the Prinz Eitel. -
Seems like it would make sense, it also now seems that there is a game counter that counts down till it dissapears. For this instance its 5.

Team kill status for doing 44 damage. And that DD was not in any danger when i fired those torps, he pretty much sailed into them. Regardless of that it is ofcourse my fault when i don´t fire my torpedos safely, but i still think getting the pink for 44 dmg is a bit excessive. Or maybe i deserve it, which is probably what everyone is going to tell me.

Is it possible to gift a ship (premium or regular) and/or captain to another player on the same server ?
Matchbreakers replied to long_lancer's topic in Newcomers' Section
And room in the habour isn't a problem since all premium ships come with a port slot. -

Had alot of good battles, some with more base XP than this one. But this one was definently the most fun. Randomly hitting destroyers with random tordpedos, battleships beaching themselves. Basicly the meeting of the lemming trains. -
german cruiser AP and HE, Whats your game WG ?
Matchbreakers replied to lethalbizzell's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, but the russian DD´s have the detecability range of a large Russian city, and torpedos where they have to get close to even have a chance at using them. Not to mention that while they might be able to output 1-2k damage every 4 seconds, they´re still destroyers, and are thus easy to kill. -
It becomes less of an issue as you go up in tiers. I get many more close matches at tier 7 and up then you otherwise do. And when it comes down to the last few, its fairly often the case thats its some of the more experienced people that are still alive. This also mean coming back from what should be a defeat is easier. I had a game in my Kiev where it was me, i had about 12000 hp left, a Myoko with about 15k, and our full health carrier against 3 Clevelands, a Tirpitz at about 40k, a half health Pensaola and a Amagi and North Carolina at full health. And what happens is the Clevelands and the Tirpitz decide to push the caps, sailing right trough the kind of ambush territory that the soviet DD´s love. So while i took out a couple of Clevelands and the Tirpitz the Myoko manages to finish the other Cleveland and the Pensacola. This however put the Myoko at about 4000 health, and the carrier down to about 5-7000 health. And they still had 2 BB´s. But they couldn´t cap, and with us holding more caps, and sinking that many of their ships fairly fast meant we snatched victory in the last minute of the match. But i couldn´t have done it if the Myoko hadn´t drawn fire, and he couldn´t have done it if i hadn´t laid a smokescreen allowing him to fire without being fired back upon. Ofcourse thats not going to happen any game, but the matches tend to be alot closer with less stompouts, so don´t fret the problem becomes a bit less problematic as you go up. Unfortunately it never dissapears.

Its not strange at all. The Soviet Union had Considerably more DDs than cruiser, making alot more material availible to make a tree. Also you can transfer your cruiser captain to your DD´s. A Murmansk captain will have researched alot of the same things a DD does, like the spotted warning and torpedoes. As for new premium ships we know the British built Polish Destroy Blyskawica is coming, maybe as early as the start of November. Ive also heard of the tier 7 Japanese cruiser the Tone, and a Russian BB. Also if i understand the beta preorder ships right, they would be exclusive for a year, then be buyable, meaning they will return sometime next year. As for the tier 5 Jap DD on the US shop i doubt we´d see it here for a while, since its a Halloween themed ship, and Halloween is a primarily US event.
