I got the 5th done with the Hindenburg after a hard fought battle. Managed to score 3 kills 223K damage, 1 solo cap 1 cap assist and got 2700 base XP. The whole game we were behind by ships and we managed a very nice comeback. For 2500 base XP surely you have to play a very good game but being a good player is not always enough. There is a luck factor in getting the 2500XP. I say luck because if your team is too good, the XP is shared among the team and you can't farm enough. If your team is too bad and you can't carry than you lose and cant get 2500 xp. So to get the 2500xp first of all there should be kind of a balance between teams. The opponent team should be better by a margin that you can be able to carry your team. Other factors imo are: -Playing T8 and above is better since the multipliers are greater than the lower tiers. (It's better to play a T8 against T10's) -For BBs and cruisers: you should be close to objectives, support your DDs, help capping, crippling and killing enemy DDs (general rules to win actually) -Use being in a worse team as an opportunity. Never demoralize and fight till the end. Comebacks are always nice. -Survive. These are my suggestion. Hope they work for some. Good luck.

Watching this clip afterwards, I noticed that we could win this game. When I turned my aim to Des Moines I thought I had AP loaded. If I had AP I could've finished the DM quicker. Than I made a mistake turning in towards DM. Instead had I chosen to go behind the island I could've survived and easily won the game. Regardless, it was an extremely tense and fun moment. Yeni gördüm kusura bakma. Herhangi bir mod yok. Kirov manevra yapamıyor ve zırhı çok zayıf. O yüzden 13-15 km mesafeden oynamak gerekiyor. Bence sovyet kruvazörlerden vazgeçme.

I already checked the minimap before. I do so during the games aswell. On 03:05 and 3:16 Iowa is almost 90degrees broadside. (88 if not 90) In fact, in the video with the torps (which is a Roon btw) Iowa is much more angled than the Iowa in the first video. So imo that is not the case.

Thanks for the replies. I aimed at the citadel because of this: As you see I can cit an Iowa from 1km. So does this mean 1.6 km difference matters?

Hi Leo, Nice thread Yesterday I managed to break my damage record with Khaba (262k) and still couldn't succeed. There was only one DD on the opponent team and someone else sunk it. (As a side note we manage to lose that game) And the game after that again with Khaba, I dealt 175k damage but still couldn't get it. Lacking BB 105k damage. (As another side note we lost that game too. Well actually I lost 9 games in a row yesterday These type of missions are mostly luck based I guess. You can finish them in 1 try or struggle to finish in 50 games.

And without any fire damage. I asked him for a replay, it would be fantastic if he has it, waiting for a reply. The only scenario would be divisioning with a T7 and playing in a T9 battle full of BB's and managing lots and lots of flooding damage. Cyclone would help too.

I would rate USN cruisers as the worst DD hunters (excluding Des Moines and Cleveland) because of low ROF and bad shell arcs which are the most important traits to hunt DD's. Here is an example where I try to kill a Mahan with Indy: I was noob then and aimed a little high but still 30+ 203mm HE shell hits on a DD should've been enough.
