I actually only bought the Harekaze because it also included a "historical" green camo. Even the HSF camo for Kaze didn't do it for me even though it only has that orange stripe, flag and dolphin torpedoes...

At least the collection looks relatively painless, just play and get containers. Unless WG nerf the drop rate so hard that it's impossible to get without your credit card.

I've come to like the silly green IJN camo even if they make no sense outside of a sheltered harbour when you've got no fuel or any form of effective air support...

Isn't it the top prize for finishing the collection. Or am I the one who is missing something?

Can't complain if it's grinded out for free. Means you'll have something in the ballpark of the Perm camo without paying 5k gold for it. Hopefully there will be mods that make it look like the standard IJN Camo as I don't like my ships looking like a school girl's party boat

Improving a ship isn't improving the game... Maybe it's improving what someone had paid money for. I've seen Kii being used at the highest tiers in Ranked so it seems viable enough.

Pushing and carries big risks in Yam due to the citadel and slow guns. The vast majority of BB pilots will see the vulnerable citadel and accurate guns then make the link in their heads to camp. I'm no Yam expert, I've barely played mine despite unlocking her years ago however!

Yes it all depends if you already own a Yam and enjoy the game play. If you don't have a Yam then I can see a strong argument for Musashi. But anyone that can free unlock Musashi probably isn't short of credits. Crew training is nice however although I already have a Kii and Mutsu for that.

That's simply the Yam down tiered. Yam is the anti BB ship, park up, angle and unpack your sniper rifle... It's boring as hell but some kids enjoy that. Musashi looks like she'll play exactly the same way just with a little more derp. I still stand by my original statement, Musashi is a T9 Yam. Why bother if you already own the T10 ship?

Yes, in isolation Musashi might be OP but when she will get T10 MM anyway then Yams should punish them although the difference may not be as different as we might think. Meh I might go hunting in my Moskva after this Ranked season and see how that goes.

Yes, stupid TDs that camp and offer nothing to the team. All that happens is they get over whelmed at some point but make the enemy pay for it. Still I enjoy Tanks and plan to play a bit more after this Ranked season.

I quite like Doombar although it doesn't taste as good these days. Other than that Troopers and Greene King (i know, my taste buds must be shot) are my favourites amongst the main stream. Then again Ghost Ship isn't bad either. And I personally think Brew Dog is hugely overrated... UK gets a bad press because your common man drinks urine like Fosters and Carling but thinks they're great.

WoT MoE are all about pure damage farming, not even needing to win. Although WoT is not the same as this as ships needs more team play but doesn't reward for it. These emblems take the game in the wrong direction. Even Victor said WoWS is not WoT yet with these emblems they're moving in that direction.

WoT has 3 levels of Marks of Excellence. As in you need average damage totals over three increasing levels. Each level is taken from that tank's player stats however so it can shift massively depending on the tier and how balanced that tank is. Unlike here where it's a flat average damage total so you need to be a T10 Farmer.

I wouldn't say the Xmas stuff was amazing but was inoffensive unlike the year before which is a start....

They're basically WoWS Mark of Excellence (WoT) except you get a badge instead of marks on your gun barrel. Unfortunately I find all those elite badge designs completely uninspiring, they all look like generic Sci Fi badges. The animal ones are more to my tastes however.

It's interesting how negative comments on WG's news pages tend to get nuked pretty fast.... IMO Prem Ships are 50% overpriced above what I'd consider fair and good value, yet I've got a port full of them so meh disposable income. I'm a Type 59 Loser this Xmas too but I didn't spend £1k!!! However I did buy so much in WoT I will likely never need to spend a penny in that game ever again and since it's Prem time rolls over to this game it'll last a hell of a long time. I'll probably even buy Roma but that depends on my ability to hit Rank 1 again this time round! HSF Harekaze is the only ship where I've bought a bundle but that's mostly because the 2nd package at the time got me Harekaze and Hood for a bit of a discount.

As much as I love cats (my own is the greatest ball of fluff in the world ) I don't think I'll be putting doubloons into this camo...

I think the Harekaze will be the one. 75% of a Aki's firepower when it uses 100mm guns, faster speed, smaller size which means she basically feels like a real DD. Plus a full compliment of torps and that sweet 5.4km of concealment. Who needs hydro?

I wouldn't buy that extra camo even though I'm exploiting the power of the 4-10 Hull right now... 4k is a hell of a lot of money for what's already a good captain trainer. If someone desperately needs captain training then flags do the job just as well and they can be farmed. Besides, I rock out in the "historic" camo.

Nice I vaguely remember that. I'll watch it after work. I'm currently in full Yolo Ranked mode but I'll either go back to Yang or try in a Harekaze.

This year's campaign is essentially a less offensive version of last year's Convoy I guess... The free path is not really that bad considering you get a T7 ship which WG price rather high. WG could have extended the period of time as the MM was really messed up for a few days. We all know WG suck somewhat with their promotions and money making methods a lot of the time but as long as they're in profit I doubt they'll care about the odd player getting salty. Personally I think all Prem vehicles are 50% over priced but that is a conversation for another time.

Well calculate the price of 5 or so T6 ships plus Perm camo. I'm pretty sure it'll come to more than the retail price of a DoY. Of course no reason why someone can't grind for free put it's not a cynical sales ploy when people choose to fast track progress. Like how it isn't WG's fault for day 1 T10 players on the server.
