Yeah Benson is bad when matched against Yang as she has nothing in her favour except a bit more HP. Hydro can just be avoided in Harekaze and your superior concealment and 66% rear facing firepower means a Yang takes a risk chasing you. Plus I save my speed boosts for those situations so I make myself hard to catch.

It's very underrated. The Hull 4-10 is basically what the Aki should have been. Far better balance of everything that makes a DD good. Oh dear, I've helped WG

Urgh the amount of reports I get in my Lex and I specifically tell my team that I have ONE fighter group and can't be everywhere. I still get the blame when they get bombed alone...

This pretty much, some BB turrets have thin looking plates, KGV is the best example I can think of. Bear in mind anything hitting it is going to be at heavy angles so shells will likely miss the thin bits or bounce.

I've messed around for a bit. Got to R3 in Lo Yang then it felt like I hit a brick wall. The standard of play dropped too but I think I've figured the current meta out with Harekaze. It's a very static season, more so than previously because smoke nerfs and island Hydro/Radar means everyone camps hard. That's where a fast DD with 5.4km detection and excellent self defense guns come in. You spot and outlast their consumables then move in as they die off. A Chapy only has 4x20s radar charges, he'll soon run out if you keep your distance. Well that's the theory!!

Yes the BB Ranked thing is a puzzle I've never solved. As they're hugely visible, slow, reload slow also and have no means to spot DDs. Atago/Takao is a solid choice. I've hit R1 in an Atago. Slightly low DPM and like all Cruisers you need to pick your shooting moments.

I really don't know how, I do know some who've done it in under 200 games... I can only assume you'll need to be really good at reading battles and you'll need to react early to everything. How's your season going? I seem to be getting success in the Harekaze.

Even if Cornflake is a CV apologist which I'd say he isn't, it is not a fault of the game balance that people have the inability to form decent groups to overlap AA bubbles. That's a fault purely at the player base. Don't people learn from trial and error? Get nuked by a CV whilst alone should easily encourage people stick together, someone doesn't even need to be particularly bright to understand that...

Harekaze is a bit whoopy... I use mine as a troll ability. To spook people who haven't spotted me, often keeps them away

All the top badges look like generic Sci Fi emblems which are pretty awful looking and they'll be shoved in your face when you die too

Yeah the badges look cr@p, they reek of an after thought and they don't fit into the rest of the historical naval theme. An off toggle would be great... Or maybe they'll improve them with time?

Kaga is very all or nothing. When the MM gives her low AA and a bad enemy CV then the Kaga is a monster and will nuke anything that takes their fancy. However in a hard T9 vs a good enemy CV then Kaga's strike potential falls massively.

I bought my Harekaze originally because she comes with a normal IJN camo and can accept IJN captains so no anime for me. I wouldn't have bought if HSF stuff was forced down my throat

I dunno as I refuse to use the HSF captains lol My Harekaze mission is repeatable 20 times, a HSF container reward with every win. No other HSF missions have shown up for me.

Colo could be given 2.1 sigma and would only be "ok" due to all her other weaknesses. A slow BB really can't cut it at T7 anymore...

Back in a two ship tier Colo was competitive I found. Then the fast Germans and British came and a 21 knot ship with mediocre armour came along with IFHE Cruisers... Everything does brutal damage to you, your 8 guns simply don't hurt things fast enough and you can't out run anything. Even better at how you are completely f**ked when you spawn at C on Tears of the Desert and everyone speeds to A

Lel... Missouri is very powerful yes, I especially enjoy how they dropped her citadel. WG trying to keep the NA server going so they make USN ships awesome maybe? Especially funny when you push with a team that knows what they're doing. Pretty much unstoppable Still tho, Missouri goes soon but brace yourself for whine threads asking for her back...

Definitely weaker armour than on an Amagi. Even angled you take more red damage shots that slice into the armour. I still like mine however but I wouldn't take one over an Amagi given the choice.

Saw a few Rank 2s and 3s. I think I'm ok in BBs but I find them really limited in Ranked. No idea how a Kii gets by with squishy armour. The risk of being nuked by other ships is huge then you've potentially just cost your team that game. Almost like playing a Cruiser.

I love the Mo but probably for the same reasons you hate her... Probably the best all round higher tier BB in game. Missouri is also why there probably can't ever be a T9 Ranked. It'll likely be 7v7 Missouri wars with a few random DD and a few Musashi. Also does anyone think Musashi hammers Colorado even harder down the pecking order? Now you have a ship that's basically Colo's worst nightmare.
