Eugen is a very expensive ship to give away too. I'd be salty if I paid full price for one and saw that some got it by doing nothing. It's actually worth more than anything given away via the various marathons, arguably worth more than Black and Flint as those two ships need a huge investment of time. Whereas Eugen is given to a select few who haven't even played the game...

They're Elite XP sinks for people who want that tiny edge in games I think... Probably won't make or break games without the player already being very good themselves.

AP Bomb fun for all soon then... I've got an Enterprise and it's funny when German BBs get one shotted but I know in my heart it's incredibly cheap and pretty skilless. Salt hides behind a Pay Wall. Normal WG practice but I'm not one to talk as I'm waiting for the Defender to be released again in WoT and I own an E25 and AMX 13 57...

It's funny to watch in streams when you get massive AP bomb impacts but I don't think that's what people wanted when they said DBs have too much RNG... Keen to see if WG release it in that crazy format.

Maybe massively lower the damage if it's indirect plane spotting. AA is under developed yeah as it goes though everything and has no firing arcs. Just bubbles of various radius and damage ticks. It's always lol when a DD is all guns blazing and using it's main guns as AA. I know it isn't a simulator but that's a bit silly.

I like the concept of CVs and think they have a place in the game despite my views on their supposed influence. It's the sheer gulf in CV ability but I'm not even sure that's something that should be fixed with changes as you'll take out a lot of the skill involved in high level CV play. The power of AA at higher tiers can be lol, when a Mino can reach out over 8km and has off the chart DPM. All by sitting behind an island they make an almost impenetrable bubble. I think education is better than any drastic changes. Fixing the laggy interface maybe too.

I'm not anti CV, I just find the huge variance they have on games a little jarring. Still though enough off topic "nonsense". Sorry folks

Good CVs transform the meta of games entirely. Flanking becomes almost impossible and teams have to readjust to CV attacks. This makes playing DDs very different even if you take ones with strong AA as you risk being spotted as soon as you want to make a play somewhere. Call it nonsense if you want...

In un organised teams a good CV is an overwhelming advantage. Any ship that goes it alone will get picked off and the other CV will get their planes farmed before they do any significant damage. So why do you think WG banned CVs from CW? If their massive advantage is nonsense?

Bad CVs rig games but not on purpose. If WG think it's wise to remove CVs from CW then you could apply the same argument to Ranked. Most if not all games where a CV is superior is an automatic win for their side. The map control and shutting down of their scouting along with being able to strike anyone who makes a mistake is extremely powerful. Whether this is the case with T10 Ranked I can't say definitively yet as a 50% Cruiser team with Def AA would even stop brute force Hakus... But alternatively just press Escape if you see any CVs in the queue and wait for them to pass. Best solution...

Will have to see if this is the case for me. Got to R10 but I'm desperately trying to power grind that dumb RU Cruiser, just got Texas Twitch camo about 20 mins ago and I'm going to be busy at work Took me 28 games to get to R10 from whatever the starting point was for R1 however. Didn't consider it was the map placement. I've seen a surprising amount of teams throw even though they've had all 3 caps and a kill advantage. Blobbing up seems to work...

Clan mate feels this captain is built for a GK... Even then they're luxury skills to increase survivability. That involves a huge amount of grinding or Elite XP. I'd rather have a token I can add the buffs to an existing captain as I've got numerous 19pt captains and it isn't worth starting a few one for the incremental buffs unless it's CW and you need every last advantage.

Simply not enough maps, at least fix the rotation as you can literally spend an hour on one map sometimes...

I would not dare use a Mino. Cruisers can Devastating Strike you, let alone BBs lol

Was going to say Gearing takes huge BB damage but at T10 all DDs do. The amount of times in CW I've had 10k sliced off me by a sniping BB...

Almost all other than Khaba are viable as true DDs. I lean towards the Z52 however it's HE performs poorly as it has a poor 1500 max shell damage. Has Hydro and fast reloading torps too. Some will say the Gearing has been power creeped but it's perfectly usable. Yue Yang was excellent in CW but probably needs smoke for Ranked as you won't be able to trust your team...

That's always been the case. Most bad players can't cope with the Premier League. I'd wager the vast majority of Premier League players yo yo between R6 and R5.
