If you don't like the dispersion factor of BB then you can play DD or Cruiser which have far more accurate guns but always run the risk of being smashed in 1 salvo...

Why is winning and losing "that" big a deal in Random Battles? Maybe in Ranked... Like yesterday I lost 4 maybe 5 in a row with the Zuiho but I didn't really rage. Why? Because I either did all I could do to help the team or when I did get rekted I knew why and could try to prevent it next time.

Tirp under performs when compared to the other T8 BB, has lower average damage but that maybe due to derps. My own average damage is on par with the other T8 ships... WG messing around with the Warspite really angered me and their handling of it made it far worse. "Nothing is wrong at all, we have changed NOTHING honest..." At least now its restored to what it was at around Christmas 2015 and I'm happily playing it loads again. WG are sort of forgiven...

Dammn WG, I want my time and patience back if NC is strong now! I still have bad memories of the NC grind... Altho when the shells didn't derp, she did brutal damage as the downward plunging shells would smash enemy ships for epic damage. Be warned, frontal armour is amazing but lower tier BB can still ruin your day if you're not angled heavily. But yes any range increase is pointless, AA buffs all the way (or secondaries if you believe in them). A T10 CV will farm anyone regardless of AA sadly but the good CV players are few and far between thankfully. Anyone who has suffered a triple Hakaryu torp bomber strike will know what I mean, you are completely powerless to stop it...

Very valid when there are those out there who genuinely think that invis firing with a DD from 13km on a BB for about 10 minutes is the best use of their ship...

The Tirp "may" bounce a few more shells when angled recently but that maybe just me or RNG talking there. There was someone complaining about Tirp nerf a few days ago but from what they were saying I'd be inclined not to listen to them Anyone done any training room tests?

My highest XP in a game pre the Ranked abuse with DD was with a pre buff NC actually so it isn't all bad no... Even if the dispersion has improved, the biggest issue is that the NC shells seem to take forever to travel to their target, which "can" throw off your aim for either other BB or the NC itself. But nothing that cannot be played and adapted with if you are willing. Colorado is great, it's armour is stronger than the Nagato and it's guns reload faster too.

I've scored a cit against a Tirp since the patch came in. The ship doesn't appear hugely different, the same tactics work in killing it. E.g I never bother trying to shoot for cit and just rake it for 10k+ regular pens...

Not saying it isn't! It cuts through CA like any other BB with AP and can hurt BB too. It's just that being a HE spammer offers a different experience to playing say the Fuso. Besides I used it to farm the last chunk of the weekly mission thing!

Ramming is probably supposed to be a last ditched attempt at salvaging something, would be a bit crap if a 5k hp BB rams a full HP one and essentially does no damage. But I can see an argument for proportional to HP damage. Still, something that is about to die from mass damage probably doesn't weigh any less than a full HP ship so maybe it should do the same damage?

Does King Albert really interest many people? Unless it is as Op as that RU BB I probably wouldn't be. My wallet is going to be hit enough with the Scharn, hopefully WG will sell it outside of an expensive package...

AFT pretty much at level 4. Concealment Expert is the funniest thing on high level USN BB. An Iowa having a detection range of 12.2km is a Troll Battleship, shooting a salvo at Cruisers then vanishing again

The Myogi is usable because of is huge range and superior speed to other BB around it's tier. Well unless you're in a T5 game then NY/Kongo will obliterate you. The only BB underneath T5 I enjoy currently is the Ischizuchi, put an IJN cruiser captain in it and use HE on everything. Laugh as there's fires everywhere and watch the damage counter tick upwards...

The Scharnhorst isn't something that's going to appear overnight without any reviews. Probably one of the most awaited Premium Ships of recent times.

I think that's also a deliberate mechanic as it can level the playing field. I've rammed stuff in faster BB when near death and taken out ships I would have had no hope of killing conventionally. It's the other player's fault for not spotting that and evading as needed.

I played a lot of games in the NC pre gun buff, something in the region of 175. Pre accuracy buff the guns were diabolical and I've played pretty much every USN and IJN BB without free XP. It doesn't play like the other USN BB before it, you often go front in and try to bounce everyone's AP or you use its speed and try to flank stuff. Your suffering will intensify if you cannot afford Hull B with free XP too. If you like the NC then get it and learn it's various intricacies, then get the Iowa and enjoy. As it's just a superior NC.

Yes, the turrets on either side are replaced with better torps I think. It has a nice little subtle "flame" style camo too.

What exactly are the differences between the Atlanta and the Flint? Flint seems to have smoke and 7km torps but no radar?

I actually played that high tier Bastion map for the first time and I play most days... Surely some sort of map rotation can be built into the MM so all maps get a fair go? Or atleast a longer wait for a different map if someone has played two of the same in a row?

If ramming didn't result in instant death for atleast 1 of the ships, you'd have that weird annoying ramming issue that friendly ships do to one another!

True as the guns on the NC are truly dire for a high tier BB (atleast before the patch). I'd still go for AA buffs although because the NC AA is so strong and so well known, most CV will avoid you and they'll have no way of checking if you're fully upgraded with AA or not until they fly into your field of fire... It's worth a try if you've got a high level captain going spare as I would sooner spec another ship with a good captain.

BB are all about the main guns, even if Yam or Izumo are buffed up with a secondary build. Its far more practical to have better main batteries so you can potentially one shot anything under a DD every 30 seconds...
