Yes, lowering the Saipan to T6 would make things worse. I enjoy playing the Saipan even though I'm not a CV player normally. All IJN CV from T5 to T7 get the same torp bombers which I've always found weird. Not sure how CV can be reformed. Their greatest strength (manual unblockable torp strikes) is also what people hate the most about them.

I'd be willing to try Ranked with just a better MM. Some games are unwinnable. Like 2 BB vs 1 on Ocean with an Atlanta instead or an all Cruiser and DD force vs one with a BB. Although most of those weird MM were late at night so I stopped playing then!!!

You "micro" like playing an RTS. Make a lot of adjustments on the approach.

I would too personally. That would take out the AFK and the carried. Might be slightly unfair to a few who take it on the chin for the team but I'd be willing to accept that.

It seems to earn very good credits even for mediocre games. Melting ambushed cruisers with point blank AP doesn't get old either.

Yes, Ranked needs it's own XP model really. I was forced to play DD for my own sanity even though I am a BB player. Needs reform anyway WG!!

it's a little different in CV as they're alot weaker when facing higher tier carriers. BB of similar tier can still hurt each other, especially Warspite with her 15" guns and Arizona with her bug shotgun salvos. I'm fairly sure Warspite's concealment is fairly good. If the battle is in the open and you're forced there then you don't need to shoot until you're spotted. And you could load HE to shoot DD first. Could even go with the DD and mix it up close in between islands. T6 vs T8 is far from a helpless battle. I've killed two NC pre 0.5.9 in a brawl. Granted the pair underestimated me and didn't shoot me until it was too late

WG need to find a way of eliminating being carried to higher Ranks. Stars tied to XP sounds good. Maybe instead of Irrevocable Ranks it can just need exceptional XP or awful play to go up or down at the higher Ranks.

Well your average person isn't all that well informed and will lap up the latest and coolest things. Then promptly moves on... Doesn't make someone who sees things with more clarity a whiner or make their opinions any less valid!!

The OP is just massively unlucky. I can only recall being detonated twice in BBs, once in my Iowa and another time in my Tirpitz. Both by means of a torp underneath a turret. I don't think I've ever been detonated by a shell... Famous last words

Sooner I think, it's an ordinary Prem ship now and I don't believe it needs a patch to unlock.

Warspite is fine vs higher tiers, sure it won't be top dog and will get bullied but you can minimise the issues by playing smart. Isn't there an extra credit/xp reward for destroying higher tier ships? Out of all the T6 BB I own, NM, Fuso and Warspite I'd pick NM to be up-tiered in, you seem to live the longest because of her armour pattern...

Torping something like an Iowa is fairly comical as the length of the higher tier BB makes it pretty easy to land multi if not all torps from a squad. Just make sure you launch earlier so the epic AA doesn't fry you Also surely the Scharn is extremely close now? It's stats are viewable in the normal server with mods...

Yes, Scharn stats are available in port if you've got the preview mod.

Nice damage, although that's surely an exceptional game as you were a Strike Bogue. Their CV's must have derped or got sunk early...

Mikasa would have been a nice little prize to work towards, as you'd have to be mad to pay for it

I've played on USA servers for other games, its usually between about 200 and 250ms. Maybe an issue for FPS game but certainly not for ships

EA are so bad that I simply won't buy from them. The way they milk the Battlefield series with DLC and not supporting each game for very long. Plus that whole mess with Mass Effect 3. WG are a little haphazard, they do listen to their customers sometimes atleast. CD Projekt are something else when it comes to fan service, I don't expect many companies will come close to the lengths they go to. A bit off topic however

I don't care for the King Albert personally but it would have pleased some here, others would still have complained no doubt and the PR division of WG EU does have a somewhat unenviable position... RE the Lo Yang, yeah it's an anti climax to release it at this stage when everyones CC is ready to input for a Scharn. Krispy Kreme was a weird little release too and made no sense to most EU players. Still haven't played Blood and Wine yet, even though I've got the season pass and a new gfx card to play it on. Maybe I should take a few weeks out from WOWS, German BB will be here when I'm back

At this rate the Gneisenau will be out before the Scharnhorst Gneis actually interests me a little more as it's got 75% of the Tirp's firepower a tier lower and a smaller profile. Tirp's got one of the best BB guns in the game IMO and it would be a pleasure to use at a tier lower against lesser armoured ships. RE the historical issues about the real one not having 15" guns? Doesn't bother me with the amount of paper ships that float around in this game!!
