Bayern is better for BB novices, she is far more forgiving than the Warspite. Simply has a far better ability to tank. Warspite isn't a brawler. Definitely not now and arguably never was. She performs best at 10km+ where her accuracy will be noticed and weakness of slow turrets felt less.

Gnesi guns are no joke. I wouldn't have a close/mid range shoot out with one in a Naga as he'll out tank you. Naga is strangely similar to the Warspite. Great guns but suspect armour which lets through massive cits.

I play her fairly often to stay used to her slow travelling shells. Got a 196k damage game last night, wasn't top tier either... Finally earnt my 15th captain point. The guns are insanely accurate compared to any other BB, once you understand them.

That's the issue, anything T8+ is liable to be sucked into T10 games. Might as well have had a higher tier BB. Occasionally you'll get to bash lower tiers... NC derp accuracy will lead to losing shoot outs at longer ranges. Unless of course CE is equipped then you can sneak around with sub 12km detection.

I use my "misbehaves in chat" reports on people who blame their team and say nothing. Hopefully others join me so there's some sort of sanction for them

German AND Russian CVs you mean?! WG have said they're aiming to have two factions head to head fully fleshed out. e.g USN vs IJN, Ger vs RU.

I've played both the NC and Iowa quite a bit. I find the Iowa a far better ship, its guns simply behave and do as they're told unlike the derpy slow shells of the NC. Iowa is monstrously long however and even with excellent AA you will eat CV torps. NC has a lower citadel, Iowa's one is somewhat vulnerable when you've got Yams and the like wandering around. Both have borderline OP concealment with CE captains in the hotseat, leads to some hilarious trolling of cruisers and hiding in plain sight at 13km. But when it boils down to it, I hardly play the Iowa these days due to T9 and T10 game sucking. I do try and attack in her but there's only so much you can do when the rest of the BB line snipes at 20km and after eating a few torps you're pretty much forced to sail back to the campers or sink to an expensive repair bill. I may actually sell the Iowa and return to the NC one day and I hated my time in the NC. Then again I'll probably just play more German BB like everyone else nowadays

I look forward to the rage and frustration of losing again and again because of team mates. Atleast the Bismarck seems like a superhero if the PT is anything to go by. 100k atleast every single game, sometimes nearer 150k+. My main server Bis is just as strong so I won't be forced into playing DD like the last season. The re-vamped XP model seems sensible too...

That's entirely up for debate. As weaker bows will mean the BB campers will be more encouraged to move. Whilst I was warming to the idea of weaker bows for higher tier BB I think keeping it the same is preferred. Was probably a buff to German BB and maybe the Amagi. Because the Germans have good all around armour and the Amagi never had much anyway and could pen other BB at more angles. Bow in camping should be fought via DD and CV if you ask me.

Stacking is time efficient, mostly why I do it anyway. Grinding can be painful once you understand the game!

Really? Unless WG have changed it since last weekend it was possible to get 20k even 30k+ captain xp in a single game with a decent run and the right flags stacked...

That's why you only get out the good stuff for special occasions as potato teams and "fun& engaging game mechanics" mean that some flags/camos are going to get wasted Going out early but still winning does suck yes lol

Don't get really close to a German BB with torps? It's often the player's own fault if they get torped by a German BB... I laugh to myself every time someone gets point blank to me in my Tirp/Scharn. Don't they know the ships by now? Also HE can knock out the tubes fairly often.

I would save these flags and farm the 100% xp camo from the PT and anywhere else you have that camo from. Stack with some flags too. I'd only use them for x2 (or even x3) weekend games or the very least only the first win. At least that'll get the most efficiency out of them!

Yes it's weird. On paper the Gnesi should have better accuracy but it underperforms for me. Bismarck guns are not bad at all, I can get consistent hits but Tirps seem more accurate. Probably just RNG hating on me!

I always have at least one game a day where my team just suicides. Starting with the DD then upwards. Powerless to do anything...

Bismarck currently feels like the perfect BB in terms of overall ability. Even with the upcoming armour nerf. Has no real glaring weaknesses. With smart use of Hydro and Manual Secondaries you can pretty much hunt DD. AA isn't op but functions well enough. Slightly under gunned but they will still hurt anything out there. (Might be me but I swear they're different from the Tirpitz guns in terms of dispersion, or that might just be simply equipping the Accuracy module on the Tirp). Tier placement is great too, avoids most of the high tier camp issues. If PT Ranked is anything to go by, the Bis is going to be strong next season.

Yes, unless the specific ship needs Manual Secondaries it's never bad to take CE. People need to realise the strength of having the ability to shoot first sub 15km instead of following all the brain dead 20km snipers.

Using Prem Consumables massively increases your survival in the Warspite. Don't have to agree with it, you can just blow up instead... Even if you get a full suite of consumables you'll still likely earn a profit most battles.

Not wanting to mod camo can be seen as similar to not wanting APR stuff. No one else is going to see it anyway...

Concealment expert is insane on the Iowa, it's visibility is something like 12.2km which for a ship of that size is crazy.

I've played over 200 games in the Warspite, throughout the stealth nerf period too. She's fine where she is now BUT the current MM is a bit cruel to all T6 ships arguably and not just this one... T7 ships seem to be top tier an awful lot these days.
