Would you really want to try and bounce high tier BB shells in a cruiser? Even with a heavy angle the BB just has to aim a bit higher and they're going to get something. Or they wait/load HE. Better than giving broadsides I guess, although I've had Atlantas survive for a frustratingly long time as they go full broadside and over pen everything...

Played 5 Ranked games today, won 2, lost 3 but only lost 1 star. All in the current OP ship that is the Bismarck. Saw a Hull A Amagi (his team lost big time) and a non secondary Bismarck who may have lost us a game...

Probably, I'd benefit more even if I don't hit Rank 1! Got my Blys to a 15 point captain last season with just Ranked Battles.

The current state of fire is fine... To those calling the fires on BB unrealistic or whatever. Do you know how long it takes one DD at long range to kill a BB with HE? It simply isn't worth their while as your 50k+ hp will take a long time to chew through...

If kids can't get over never ever giving up in Ranked then they shouldn't be playing it. A heroic last stand might net you top and no star losses, or even a win...

I guess... Since it isn't cheap. I plan to buy it as a reward for hitting Rank 1 which actually makes no sense if I've got there with 400+ Bismarck games as I won't benefit from the XP camo buff...

I think I took too long last season. If I've got any prospect of hitting Rank 1 I want to do it early. Plus I'm losing 10 days in the middle...

I've heard it's harder near the season's end to get up there. I was Rank 5 with a week left and called it quits. Could have been my skill ceiling then, who really knows...

Don't give WG ideas for low tier BBs! Although some may love it for historic purposes I can't see it being fun gameplay if the Miksas is anything to go by...

You might be better served with the Kutz maybe as you're more familiar with RU ships. Unless you want to learn a few class whilst in Ranked. I did take a Blys to Rank 5 last season and i had next to no DD knowledge before it started though

We had that last season with multi tier ranks. Please don't remind me of the pain Was plenty of folk then who claimed their T6 was the superior choice even at the upper level!

That's not entirely the case. A Bis without Manual will have 60% less dispersion and is a lot less dangerous to DD. And with it they'll have to at least click on the DD so they need to be half awake! This BB meta is a world a part from the DD capping lols that I experienced in Season 4. Can't please everyone...

Nagato's role is to be farmed by Germans (lol jk ) I find it plays like a T7 Warspite, good guns but under-armoured.

Hard truths but they need to be aired I got to Rank 5 last season with Blys where I had previously extremely little DD experience. I made the mistake of taking too many breaks (e.g not grinding hard enough) and experimenting with other ships instead of hard playing one ship solidly.
