I actually don't think the Ranked meta at higher levels has changed at all. It's still all about the DD capping and spotting. Granted the scoring and Bismarck being powerful means the xp is a little more even but a Bismarck can't change the game like a good DD can when everyone is competent. I might free XP a Benson tomorrow and go back to DD only Ranked play.

Awhile ago I could aim well with the Spotter, now I've lost it again lol... Maybe it should be buffed to have no angle change?

I've got a foothold in 10, won one game in it Wouldn't be surprised if I slipped back to 11...

Re-gained 10 and I think that's enough struggling for one day... I am never playing Ranked again if/when I get Rank 1

Got up to Rank 10, got torped whilst in smoke. Have lost every game since and almost to 12 again

Something I've found this season. There are almost no close games, practically 75% if not more (it feels like 100%) of games are a one sided stomp whether you win or lose. Doesn't seem competitive at all for me...

I'm at 11 and have been going up and down to 12 all day. It feels worse than last season although I do recall the 15 to 11 bracket being very idiotic. Haven't had many AFK atleast.

Try Hakka Mod instead of Aslain, I've used that when I've had issues with Aslain. Alternatively install the bare minimum mods you need and see if it's any different.

I half want to write a ticket to WG and say literally. "WG Y U NO BISMAK RAEL CAMO!?!?" It must have been harder NOT to add the lines on the superstructure of the current camo...

You need to play way more than that, I've had a 7 win streak the other day replaced with it going the opposite direction. I don't think my skills have varied that drastically either...

I enjoy playing the same map and starting in the same place again, again and again. Especially when I'm losing...

10 Games so far today and ONE win! Average of 95k damage. Whilst people whine about BB taking over, it still feels similar to previous seasons. E.g if the DDs suicide early then your team faces a massive uphill struggle to win. 10km Bis secondaries or not... Record so far is both DD committing suicide in 2 mins 30 seconds.

T7 is the sweetest tier atm for MM... Oh well, maybe the OP should go into Ranked with a Prinz Eugen?

Aren't events done on how much we all spend in the Premium Shop? As in once WG feel they've made enough from ships and dubs they have weekend events with everything we've already bought on discount?

I am liking the new scoring system. It's now entirely possible to come top of a losing team as BB aslong as you do your job properly...

Sorry.... Be thankful the Amagi isn't decent in Ranked. That thing is an appalingly effective Cruiser clubber. Not uncommon to have Cruisers go down from one huge Devastating Strike at the start.

This meta is far more fun in a CE build Tirp or NC. Firing see 12km then slipping back into stealth. Sometimes you can see the poor Cruiser pilot wobble a bit in a vain attempt to dodge

I can understand that actually, as a Bis has awful dispersion which can even help and add a shotgun effect at range. If I can get off two salvos then that's 16 15" shells coming at the Cruiser. Only needs one of those to land in order to ruin your day

I've had competent pinks on my team and I saw an enemy DD pink himself by torping two opposing BB in a brawl. What WG should do is remove any star gain for that single game where someone is AFK and maybe TK too.

I think part of the problem with Ranked this Season at T8 is that BB are almost fully maxed out. At T7 last season you only had the Naga and Colo which had compromises. Now you've got T8 BB that are fast, have fantastic armour and high powered guns. I feel slightly guilty when I kick someone's citadel in at 19km but then I tell myself they should have used their rudder...

I'm half considering this as I sold my Kiev. Stalled at the Trashkent and not sure if I'll go any higher so maybe not... Already own a Blys with a 15 point captain and I live in hope the Gremy will return.

Maybe it'll be in the mix for a Secret Santa surprise...
