How do WG actually decide wtf camo to give their ships? They seem like a mix of war time camo, museum ship camo and just random stuff. Incidentally is the Perm Hiryu camo in any way historic?

This... You need to assign the Warspite captain to a ship then retrain him. A Prem ship can use any captain of that nation with no penalty. Never assign a Captain to a Prem ship. -

The Premier League is fairly competent although you still get alot of one sided games. Lower Ranks are utter hell, I've fallen to Rank 6 twice now and each time it's worse... -

There is some appalling Ranked play out there but I'm fairly sanguine about it now. If anyone doesn't like the way someone is playing. I suggest they get said class of ship and have a go themselves. I've got a Benson, Atago and Bismarck. -

BB going close support at the start in the Premier League doesn't work. I speak from painful experience. The BB will get focused to hell even with smoke. They are very easy to torp at effective secondary distance... -
Disappointing... No reason to buy it if the camo doesn't look cool. A lot of us would have grinded past it so won't benefit from the extra xp.

It still dies like any other BB to DD. But when they're all dead then you're really in your element. No other BB except for another Bis can challenge you. The amount of NC/Amagi/Tirps I've destroyed by going heavily angled and just secondary spamming them to death... -

The lols of Ranked is never ending. For every good game there are probably 2 or 3 that are simply bad for a variety of reasons. I did play Benson up to R5 but I got sick of knife edged gameplay so I went back to my main of BB and I'm currently frustrating lots at the upper tier by dying too soon. Beats camping 20km away as I actually hit stuff I shoot at... -

Strange... Used to show exactly who was queuing up for games before (as in I would equip Atago with Defensive Fire AA or Hydro depending on what I saw in the queue) It's stealth Ranked MM for me now. -

Use the torp targeter, unless that too is seen as cheating

Over pen is the price you pay for using BB. Even lower calibre BB guns often blast straight through lesser ships. Aim as low as possible vs stuff with weaker armour. You can aim a bit higher vs Germans as their upper hull seems to take damage better, USN too usually...

There's no such thing as an absolutely fair playing field if you want to argue that. Unless everyone has the same PC, same settings, resolution, peripherals etc. Am I cheating because I play with a huge monitor and resolution where others play on a tiny laptop at 20fps? WG mods need to bring the closing hammer to this thread...

Just buy a load of stop watches and place them around your PC. Then click one everyone you or someone else pops smoke. Clearly cheating if you use a mod...

WG did remove the little shell time indicator a few patches ago so they're clearly thinking about this sort of thing...

If it bothers some that much then complain to WG and hopefully they'll either. A) Ban it. B) Implement it. If it's B) I will laugh as I'd wager the same folk who complain about it will be lapping it up and using it for all it's worth
