The range is fine. Especially with CE as your detection is so low. Plus it's actually accurate at its max range until most of her BB peers...

I welcome the changes to perm camo. Always thought they should be closer to making a silver ship earn more like a Prem. Care not for T10 but I'll enjoy the Hiryu and Bismarck camo.

I've got more than enough ships to play. Doubt a T3 BB offers me a whole lot more. Although I've got two 15 pt BB captains I can slap in her...

The free port slots are actually doing us a favour as they can be used for all ships not just the ARP fleet.

The beatings I've taken in Ranked suggest that the detonation risk is 0%, I maybe proven horribly wrong at some stage tho!!

The Detonation Flag stops all detonations even with the fire flags. Or at least I haven't been blown up by it yet in a number of games.

Far better off using HE rather than SE. Main survivability is via stealth and intelligent play. Take the burn bonus!

Yeah, the amount of ppl using the ARP variant even in the Premier League is worrying. It isn't the sort of ship you jump in and pay...

I think you just get a port slot if you own the ARP ship already.

I don't own a Kutuzov but I've played the Premier League almost exclusively with the Atago and I'm now Rank 2. Despite not being a cruiser player (used the Benson and Bismarck this season too). Atago torps and concealment with CE is where she wins it. The sheer amount and power of torps you can kick out is so strong, as is the concealment cheese games you can play on enemy ships. I've got little prior cruiser experience too, usually play DD in Ranked and enjoy BB normally.

Just played a game where an idiot Benson drove into a corner (was pink too) then proceeded to shoot his own team. Then did nothing and tried to act late in the game in order to steal top of losing team. Utter [edited], checked stats and they were Rank 2 but had fallen to Rank 4. Clearly someone who had issues and rage from failing so close to Rank 1. Just a shame I can't name and shame as the guy deserves it...

You don't "have" to have anything ARP though?! Just don't use the APR port and you won't see anything, well you'll see the little girls in the Missions screen but you don't "really" need to look at that to play the game.

Folk need to lighten up. All these ARP missions are essentially free port slots if you've already got the ships. Even with non APR ports you still get the slots. Completely free port slots for playing mid/higher tier, why so glum?

Got an AC finally but was merely 500 dubs. Still was better than flags even if it got my hopes up...

Repair would be utterly pointless on the Lolanta. She takes so much damage that it won't be worth repairing the few % you gain back. Rather have better range on the torps!!!

I played the Bismarck for quite a big chunk of S5 but gave up. I tried close supporting DD (within 10km) but I'd eat way too much damage and die early. One golden rule I've found for Ranked is that you simply need to live, even if I was to kill 2+ enemies before dying there was no guarantee the rest of the team wouldn't yolo to defeat. Have to survive to influence the battle...

The issue with BB in Ranked is that they are really vulnerable to torps and can't really carry a game alone unlike a DD... To the non BB players it might look like camping but they can't do their thing until the threats are dead.

It's that old RTS tactic. Always focus the squishy units first as losing the fire power soon stacks up massively. E.g both sides start with 10 units, one side focuses and kills one whereas the other side spreads their fire out killing nothing. It quickly snowballs...

Very true, also the Lol trains often get separated with DD/Cruisers running away from the BB meaning they're not actually focused... It's pretty funny being that Fast BB sailing into a corner with 6+ enemy ships following you whilst your allied DD cleans up the caps.

Maybe even the potatoes finally realise there is no such thing as a Lemming Train? That if you stay together and focus targets then it quickly cascades into landslide victories we see so much of these days? Then all the try hards cry as their complex tactics fail compared to the keep it simple crew?

Personally I find the guns of the NC far more impressive when they're on song. Their mortar like characteristics punish other BB. It's just they seem to float in the air forever. Good AA is one less thing to worry about I guess though.

A similar clock is on the Dunkerque, New Mexico and Kamikaze. However those ships have the full 12 numbers. Would like to know too...

I guess. Out of the 8 T8 cruisers (I think), only 3 are decent picks (slightly arguable maybe) in Ranked and two of them need money at the point of entry... Out of the rest, you'll likely hear groans from other team mates when they see them in the pre match loading screen.

My Atago does fine in Ranked. Prefer her over the Benson and the Bismarck (I've got 15 point Captains for both those ships but only a 14 point point for the Atago). Atago HE and torps can accomplish pretty much anything. Just need to be careful your citadel isn't kicked in randomly...
