Not all Cruiser AP perform the same however. The Germans seem to have better AP than the rest, Eugen can citadel other cruisers right at the edge of her firing range which I find very impressive. I do not feel the IJN 203mm perform quite as well at extreme ranges, however some have told me to try and AP up to 12km which I personally disagree with but those players are probably better than I... 203mm IJN is about the HE and fires anyway, can be buffed to over 20% chance per shell which is head and shoulders above other cruiser HE fire chances. You are better off taking Basics of Suitability than Expert Loader. Its too situational I think, better to have the assured fire and flood reduction. If you need an ammo change its better to just shoot off what you have at the enemy or just reload and wait for it. Often as a cruiser you will not be shooting off entire broadsides, a few turrets sometimes as you will be turning/dodging in an attempt to stay alive. But if it works for you then do it, we all play and perceive things differently.

The kid that dies in the first engagement then blames his team is one thing that annoys me. I save my reports for those kids and don't tell them If Ranked has taught me one thing is that you NEED TO STAY ALIVE. Don't contest a cap without backup and an escape route. Not worth dying early over a cap that can be easily recovered in points once you are dead... If you are alive you can carry on influencing a battle, simple.

I hit Udaloi today and even in totally stock configuration with a half trained captain it beats an Elite Trashkan. No idea why as the attributes don't seem all that much stronger but they seem to add up to something epic. I think its mostly the rapid fire guns. I would spec that rudder upgrade 2 thingy rather than any sort of CE as you're not going to beat the USN and IJN at their game. Might as well go full mid range gunboat. Torps for self defence and mad yolo rushes imo. I'm not a DD main however so what do I know

I think a important part of making an online game work is to cater for all. As in to make it accessible for noobs and casuals who can have a good time but also playable and possible for elite level improvement. It's why a lot of FPS games do so well imo, like CS which has been around over half my life (I'm mid 30s now!!) RDF doesn't really adhere to this idea...

Flamu is sosrs and plays to win. He doesn't like weak ships, or players at that probably I like the mad ATSF guy even though he's been a bit quiet lately. Noster, iChase and Aeerroon are good too, I gave up on Jingles because of his lack of involvement in the Xmas Convoy Lots of YouTubers out there, as well as the main few guys though. Often the best way is to teach yourself, when you blow up sit there and think about what happened and what you would have done differently. After awhile that should lead to decent improvement.

Atlanta AP broadsides at point blank range is one of the best things about her. Never ceases to amaze me that you can potentially nuke an enemy cruiser on full hp before they can fire more than two salvos...

AP on a cruiser is very situational. Are you skilled enough/are you going to gamble on a decent AP salvo when a HE one will atleast do "some " damage and may start a fire? Considering I hit R1 last Ranked season with a cruiser, the answer to that is more of a No than a Yes. In fact in the Atago, the only time I loaded AP was for vs Cruisers under 10km when I knew I had the jump on them and I knew I could sting their broadsides for a near instant deletion.

They've still got to release that silly black and gold Bogatyr. The name escapes me as I actually don't care about it... Guess this can be added to the list of "Huh?! Any IJN Torp Boat that dares play after Thurs will find out what it's like to be a hunted fox. There will be ships out there that are faster and better armed than you, plus they will know exactly where you are. An end of game chase would become fairly comical for the hunters at least...

Well there is that... Tirp's speed helps as you don't get left behind and farmed like the Standard USN BB! Also that's a tactic, not a buff request for the ship

Yes, you can take Manual AA and have op anti air but you give up Concealment Expert. Considering how un common CV are now it's a big thing to give up. Then again the skill changes will allow both so take that as a potential buff...

I do understand where you're coming from and it's some nice analysis but you can't balance for Joe Average as the better players will have a monster on their hands. I'll happily accept a Tirp buff but I don't think WG are going to budge here. Tirp probably should be an AA fortress considering the pounding she took over the years...

I'll happily pledge to play at least 1 T4 battle everyday i play and to div with like minded guys at least once a week!

Also I won't take it in my BBs as eventually WG will give it to all just like SA

I may have to get this ship regardless as I feel T6 is one of the best for BB variety...
