    Something positive (New skills in general)

    I like it, a part from the map hack yes. Not that many use it, even at high tiers which I find comical. Win every knife fight vs those DD without... I can see some of the skills being tweaked and I can also see WG laughing and not giving any resets. Game favours those with 18 point captains which is beyond potato reach. I'm only just about to hit my first 19 point captain but can soon reap the elite xp boost as I'll be able to help other captains by farming victims in Scharn games...

    How can we prevent this from happening almost every game?

    There is nothing wrong with lemming trains as long as they go to an objective and not J line! Was on Shatter last night and I immediately went to the opposite side as I was a Scharn in a T9 game and the rest of the bigger BB spawned over there. Wouldn't have made sense for me to stay and get farmed...

    Fire prevention + damage control mod

    Better off taking CE to hide vs the nasty T8 battle barges... I've had secondary success but I'd claw every percentage of accuracy there is for the main guns. When you see salvo after salvo with perfect dispersion then you won't care for the weak secondary pop guns.

    SI and CE are a great help on Warspite. SI because she heals do well and CE as you can get within 11km before detection, at that range the guns are amazing.

    Noobs love that West island cluster for some reason... Especially on Standard mode... If your team goes all to one side then you've got no real choice but to follow. And as others have said, if the team is that bad then farm damage as that's all you can do. Farm enough and it might even turn the tide.

    It comes and goes, as in if it doesn't appear at the start of a game it isn't happening. A few torp circles are bugged, mostly the ones with a choice of ranges.

    Anyone used this on RU gun boats? Feels like they are better off going AP a lot of the time rather than HE spam. Hmm others have said there's no point on Uldaloi, I guess top tier BBc have decent armour everywhere...

    Erm why does the supply ship still have Santa and Happy New Year things!? It's the 20th of January now. Isn't it seen as unlucky to leave your Christmas decorations up that long?

    This patch has added variety to DDs I think. Maybe IJN torp boats are hurting now but Russian and USN ones seem to be flying. No Comment on the Germans however

    I finally understand how to Udaloi it seems... Priority Targeting is THE #1 most important skill. It basically says "GO GO GO SHOOOOOT NNNAAAUUU!!" when no one is on you and "STOP!! DODGE AND HIDE!" when numbers start showing up inside the SPOTTED icon

    Hmm after musing about it all day at work. (Yeah that's how much I regard my job when I use my spare brain power to ponder digital ships) I'll take LS for torp boats AND USN DDs, as arguably something like Fletcher or Benson should focus on torping and surviving rather than shooting. Preventative Maintenance on them too. The Russians and longer range ships I'll go with Priority Targeting and Adrenaline Rush. Seems to work so far, the skills give everyone something to ponder and adapt to depending on their skill level and the ships. No more 1 size fits most of 1 ship class.

    Warspite captain skills?

    Secondaries are overrated on the Warspite imo, they can never get the better captain that T7 and higher get. If you're within 7km you are too close as your guns will have great difficulty tracking targets. Warspite's role is about the 10km mark, maybe a little further out (not max range, even though she's accurate she seems to take far nastier hits from out there), in the second line of ships directing accurate shells at things.

    It's mediocre for IJN BB and USN, nothing amazing in the way of changes. German BB however. Manual Secondaries, AFT and Manual AA makes the Bismarck a literal floating fortress, so strong now. Likewise Tirp can go CE and Manual AA with plenty of points left to spend. Bismarck losing buffed hydro is irrelevant, just wait until Adrenaline Rush includes secondaries...

    Folk say it's mandatory but how many times have you needed more than just one Damage Control in a single fight? If it's going wrong you should be bugging out and looking for another opportunity. Besides most DDs will run out of hp before they lose multiple propulsion/steering.

    BB designers should have known than in 80+ years time some Russian computer games company would use no superstructure to help make a ship op (Nikolai).

    Higher tiers you go after DDs until later game where HE spam has weakened the bigger ships. I played stock Shokaku and she wasn't "that" painful as the enemy carriers were so bad!!

  23. I can see this working for USN strike deck yes. Often my IJN fighters are there to spook their planes rather than kill outright. Even a good strafe isn't killing a squadron. Lol armour tank at strategic times would make USN planes annoying as hell.

    Captain skills for Atlanta (post 0.6.0)

    Adrenaline Rush all the way. It's my new go to skill for DD gunboats and low calibre cruisers. Atlanta is going to take pain, finishing the game on half hp or less is standard. Why not make that "ffff####cckkk!!!" citadel you take whilst island peeking work for you?

    I've toyed with taking this for DDs but they've got better things to do than to spam BBs plus I can name so many better skills to take.
