How are you short and you've played that many games?! Do you run without Prem and don't do those random credits missions? Even then you should be rich as you probably don't lose money in many games... -
I think the main question is how much do you trust Russia not to g!mp the Royal Navy BBs when implemented?

A T10 Lion with 4x3 16" maybe very Monty like atleast in it's gun configuration. I'd rather something more fantastical but who knows. Wasn't KGV some sort of Treaty BB and chose 14" for the reduction they wanted everyone else to follow but didn't? Maybe it can work at T8 with tweaked penetration characteristics as the guns did destroy a lot of German steel, although those were fairly unfair fights. Aslong as they're competitive in game I'll be happy. I'd much rather that than historical accuracy.

I really don't think tri BB is that strong a combination... Better off two BB and a DD or a BB, DD and CV. Sure it'll need more teamplay than "SHOOT TAHT GUY PLSSS11!!" but would be overall more effective if the players are good.

True, it has a whole plethora of ships for the lower and mid tiers. I still think T9 should be Lion and T10 should be fantasy. Vanguard used 15" guns to get her into service faster and wouldn't cut at T9 as they were essentially WW1 era guns even if improved with better ammo. Maybe if they were ultra accurate with really fast turret rotation, like a Warspite on steroids

WG have done and will likely be willing to play fast and loose with tiers and where ships actually stood IRL. Nelson/Rodney would be either OP or nasty as hell at T6 so I'd agree there. T7 along with Colorado and Nagato. KGV at T8, not too sure as Vanguard would probably be bad at T9. Plus where would Hood fit in (likely as a Prem ship 1 off). If you look at how the German BB line went, T8 was their best ship that actually sailed. T9 was a proposal and T10 was total fantasy, feels like it would make sense for RN to follow a similar pattern unless they buffed something up to T9.

Play Prinz Eugen forever and pump your other captains. I might even use my Bismarck 19 with her as the fit isn't "that" bad -
I've re specced my T7 to T9 German BB to run with the flavour of the month that is Adrenaline Rush and skipped Expert Marksman. Even without it the German guns rotate faster than IJN/USN BB. Beats USN BB with the Fat Seagull in the seat even! AR will give you faster reloads when late game clutch rears its head. Helpful when German guns are a little weaker on alpha anyway. I haven't noticed an issue with tracking targets without EM. Thoughts?

Slower turrets can (to an extent) be worked around with good planning and awareness. But there is a point where they start to feel slow. Try mid tier USN BB!

Stop talking about this before WG masses us up with a credits sink. Not everyone is rich. 100 mil here and I'm cool with it. -
Iowa and Missouri are nasty in terms of armour. They're essentially Battlecruisers. The sides take appalling damage, my record against one is a whopping 55k using the Monty. NC AA still can't cope with a good top tier CV without support. Unless someone has Defensive AA nearby you're not stopping a stack of bombers without taking some pain. Can't decide if I prefer the ultra accurate guns on Missouri/Iowa or the better protection, stealth rating and better MM of the NC.

On a one for one basis. The XP can pay for Captain Levels but only to whole levels. E.g if you're 200k exp short you need that between your elite xp and what's already on the Captain to hit the next level. All Elite Xp is stored in one place regardless of which Captain has earned it. You can pump free xp or even pay for a conversion but I wouldn't recommend that personally as taking a Captain to high levels makes Missouri look cheap. -

What else are you going to spend the points on? Fire Prevention maybe as that stupid massive superstructure is made of petrol soaked paper. Or maybe lots of low level skills, Fuso AA will be bad whatever skills you pick. Might as well try and conceal the ship a bit. -
OP has suffered being farmed by elite CV and watched yolo ones fail him...

Play mid tiers (5 to 7) if DDs offend you. Far less down there these days.

PT is vital yes, tells you when to unleash hell. All out DPM here too. AR as the level 2 skill, AFT as the 3 no need for SI. 4th level BFT and CE so far. Concealment is so important, you can knock a Udaloi down to 7.5 km with the right mods. Means you can spot, stealth torp and escape from things easier as turning tail then running slips you into stealth that much quicker.

All T6 BB are very competitive with one another, silver or prem... I prefer the Bayern over Fuso but I wouldn't say it's clearly a better ship. Superior AA and armour but guns that need careful attention. Fuso salvos are pretty awesome and the new captain silks mean you can hide with CE so you're not spawn sniped anymore Also another buff Tirp thread... -
I had a Nikolai then a Gremy detonate in the space of about 5mins. Gremy has the minus 70% chance too!! Punished for P2W... Also no detonations have happened since

I've got a single 19 point captain but fortunately he's in the Bismarck and doubles up on in the Scharn. The Elite XP stacks up fairly fast, I save Dragon Flags and Captain XP camo for that captain now. No need to waste them on less capable ships! -
Wonder how they'll balance KGV and Vanguard. As they're possibly be T7 and T8. Lion likely as T9 with a paper design at T10.
