This is true. Fiji is a riot in Random Battles and torps can quickly change games. Belfast's weak alpha and lack of burst damage are her only glaring weaknesses as I've bullied a few out of their smoke with BBs but if you're going solo or your team has died in Ranked then you're probably about to lose anyway so it's largely irrelevant for RB.

Belfast can only really 1v1 DDs yes but her utility is key. Plus IFHE is an incredible trolling tool as you can lob passing BBs for 5k salvos to which they can do nothing about. I'm not a bad BB player but even doing consistent high (50k+ in Ranked) is irrelevant. It wasn't winning me that many games. BBs are saved for last almost always unless they yolo. The unsupported BBs at the end of a game are defenceless vs even a depleted combined force of DD, Cruisers and BBs.

FYI, the Belfast IS a T7 Kutuzov with buffs

I've gone between Scharn and Belfast. I'm a BB player but Belfast is simply stronger in Ranked. The Ranked Meta has never favoured BBs and this season is no different. Even with a 19 point full secondary Scharn captain+ ship build Belfast has too much utility and firepower in IFHE. Scharn can shoot DDs with her fast firing shotgun spread but can't influence a battle like a good Belfast.

Correct it by having NO Irrevocable Ranks and everyone starts at the bottom. A true Ladder

No problem. Yes , a lot of people don't understand that if everyone smokes then there are no spotters... Just have to do your best with the players who want to work, even in the Premier League you get solo noobs.

Radar is employed when you're close enough and everyone is ready to bag the kill or at least take his hp down so far to make him unviable.

So basically you are killing everything in a Kiev but not winning much. And you blame the smoke meta. Whilst I can see your point you're better off playing to the meta and actually winning than fighting against the tide. Consistently finishing mid table isn't getting others to do the hard work, considering I'm also consistently winning too. Stars not xp gets you to higher ranks.

? A player in Ranked is 1/7th of a team. Pushing your team over the line rewards with a star rather than just the risk of not losing in a loss. The meta in Ranked is different from Random Battles...

3 average players working together is worth far more than a bunch of skilled but solo players. Teamwork is op. Being the glue that holds your team together is better than working to be the top XP scorer.

The scores don't always show who has been important. Decisive spotting and killing the right ship might not get you top in score but your team has come out with the stars. I'm currently on a 10 straight win streak but I've usually finished mid table.

Ranked doesn't start till the Premier League... I'd wager the majority of players yo yo between R5 and R6. I know I did before I understood how things worked.

This season feels tougher than the last for me. I'm less motivated as I've already hit R1 last season too, I'm not feeling the whole Belfast thing,I have one but find hundreds of smoke meta games dull. Although I am starting to feel the power of the Scharn.

Folk seem to smoke together and have no spotters... I've often driven out of smoke in my BB to spot, not the way but sometimes needed. You know German BBs are best

It'll never be as op as Nikolai. Mutsu has trash for armour, Nikolai is the ship version of the Terminator. Unstoppable at the MM.

I've had two SC since the silly mods have been added. Both have been pretty amazing... Since the "nerfs" I've taken Camo&Flags as my first box of the day, second box the Consumables one and the final one TYL. No tin foil hats please but picking in that order has got me good results so far. Never had anything this good in normal free SCs.

Dunker will get others to play with this year anyway, French Navy common... It's a shame T6 can't be it's own tier. There are so many different and BBs in there. Just being bumped up tiers often destroys you.

Ranked gets ruined far more by awful player skill to be honest. Even elite level players don't get anywhere near a 100% WR. I just don't find Belfast stimulating to play for hours on end. Although I'd wager 90% of Belfast users won't or more likely can't hit R1 in her regardless of the ship's vaunted power.

Weak armour is a plus sometimes as over pen becomes your friend. Schors raised citadel is comedy gold, Devastating Strikes everyday

The Premier League has always been a bit pro. I actually think most players go between 5 and 6, the ones who can stay in the top tier will likely see R1.
