Totally, for the correct ranges you engage stuff at in the Aki, her turrets are more than fine. Such awful handling after a season of Ranked using Sims makes me sad... I'm still somewhat glad they didn't make Aki a £30 T8 Prem ship as it's certainly more unique than some Gold ships.

This is valid too but needs a lot of skill, it can stretch bad teams and confuse the hell out of them. I was the DD that hunted your kind tho, I always tried to bring a cruiser or some cover fire with me tho!

I know I'm talking a lot but I want others to succeed too. Keep tactical discussions as simple as possible. Cap, defend or push etc. Don't ask people when they want your radar or smoke. You're the owner of those consumables so YOU decide. Besides if you plant smoke well then even bad players will set up well, lay it not too close so it gets torpe d/radared but close enough so even Gemab BBs get good RNG. Make it as simple as possible for your team, assume they need spoon feeding and you'll do ok.

No true, I found it a little harder from R5 to R1 but it's possible. I often stats check or focus on screening those I've played with before who I know I can trust. Didn't get the guys name but there's a Nagato pilot out there who won a lot of stars with me. I kept him alive and spotted for him and he deleted those bigger ships. Who you play with is so important. Like I'll stop later at night if the same yolo idiots are on or a bad CV is on. You've got a 50% chance of getting them again as it often goes down to 1 or 2 games in the MM at weird times.

A full suite of captain skills in the Sims helps massively. RDF and CE are vital as you put an end to all that flanking rubbish. If you've been spotted by a Shira try to resist shooting back and steer away if your team aren't helping you. So many bad IJN DDs give themselves away by shooting their crap guns. After RDF and CE you get SE and AR for clutch situations. Yes some of the attitude is simply amazing... I kept a small list of the worse offenders and none of them are R1 yet. A special snow flake even has over 800 games and is floundering around R7! Ranked is a mindset as much as anything else. And if people didn't do bad plays then the better amongst us wouldn't be able to take advantage of them!

We only met once in game and I think we lost together. You were using the Shira. Just need to keep fighting and not lose heart. For me in both seasons I hit R1 in I got hard carry moments where I wasn't going to be denied and I got there I had Rank 2 and 4 stars and literally lost a game with 992 points, fell to R2 and 1 star but didn't lose heart.

I got to R1 in Sims, my damage and PR utterly suck but no points for smoking and protecting your team!! Problem is with a DD you rely on others killing what you spot and in bigger ships you rely on DDs screening you. I decided that it's better to do the spotting and smoking as even bad players are ok at shooting things.

No! Irrevocable cause problems as potatoes get higher than they should. I've played in 3 seasons now and I've never fallen more than a few ranks. It tends to level out and you end up where you deserve after enough games. I remember you using Belfast and was more willing to take risks unlike the masses that end up alone in smoke with full HP...

Well I'd imagine most of the top folk started around Rank 12 or whatever it was for Premier League citizens. Anyone who does it under 100 games NEEDS to go in early I think as so many games now are ruined by utterly clueless potatoes. Can probably write off a 3rd of all games because of such folk

Such a fun ship in her current form, even seems to have a great XP modifier. And getting only 60k damage with 300+ hits is just hilarious

R5 and R6 is a brutal spot, I'm sure that the majority of players skate between the First League and Premier Leagues as it's quite a step up in skill. If you can stay in the Premier League then you'll likely get Rank 1.

Since the [edited] fail modules I've had two SC and both have been 50k Free XP I'm wondering if it's similar to the Christmas Boxes thing where if you owned a ship you were never going to get it in the boxes?

That's probably the fairest way to nerf her. As the concealment is broken, since you know if you're spotted with CE then it is radar time and 100% you will spot them back. Folk would cry however as they've paid for something that's been tweaked. I still don't think it was that powerful in Ranked. It changed the meta but still needed a team behind it to win. Beat plenty of Belfasts when there were none on my team, all you need to do is stay about 9km from the smokes/the danger zone until they die then it's back to normal service...

Leander and onwards gets far superior RN sAP, whereas the Emerald still gets the smelly low tier one...

At the higher tiers its impossible as I think it counts all those stupid BB and Cruiser catapult fighters. Even the twin ones from that OP captain skill lol So if folk don't launch them or you don't shoot them down then you are stuck.
