It's probably fine as if it was +/-1 then some ships would be pretty powerful. I'm thinking of the Atago specifically but I'm sure there's plenty of others. There's ships that suck for their tier too I guess...

The speed of the shells on the Moskva are insane, I'm playing both this and the Minotaur on the PT and I'm not sure what to try and grind next

Warspite is one of the best T6 BBs, with maybe only the Arizona being arguably better. It has simply exceptional guns that are accurate right up to the max range. Once you're used to the slow shell flight time the guns are simply miles above anything else in the BB class of ships. Only things like Nikolai, Yam and Iowa/Missouri come close.At T6 they have plenty of power too. Has a crazy little rudder, size of the ship will help you dodge a lot of torps too. Now some dislike it because of it's squishy armour, slow turrets and poor range. All 3 can be worked around: Armour: You always need to be conscious of your angles, taking CE helps a little. Warspite's fast DCP and good heal helps mitigate a lot of damage too. Turrets: Do NOT take the turret rotation buff module, instead just plan ahead and use only the front or rear two if needs be. Don't beat yourself up if you can't get all guns on a target. Also Warspite shouldn't be fighting at ranges below 8 or 9 km if you ask me so taking secondary buffs fails. It's all about the main guns, don't be fooled by the secondaries looking good on paper. Poor range: Irrelevant as you are accurate up to it's very maximum range. As said earlier, taking CE and playing smart can help work around any range issues.

I shove my Atago captain in the Ishi and go burning things, it's been buffed with faster reloads awhile back and next patch will give it better range.

The majority of real BB didn't have anywhere near as exciting ship to ship combat as even one game of this across their entire careers... So Hood getting blown up without having done much is nothing out of the ordinary sadly... Yeah, was reading they had more powerful shells for Vanguard I'm strangely more excited about V than Hood...

Get to R1 in under 150 games then you can consider yourself "good" I can't manage it yet so

WG might have a problem with Hood. It'll likely seriously mess up the MM in whatever shape it's in as so many are going to buy it. But do they make it niche and difficult to use like Warspite or a user friendly lol fest? I know they're two ends of the spectrum but WG will likely make Hood excellent to play to roll in the sales or the potato whine will be immense

An issue with RN BB might be that loads of them used the same 15" guns. Essentially it'll have no more firepower than the Warspite, I guess just in a far more flexible package (faster and better turret rotation I hope!!) If they ever made the Vanguard, she'll have 15" guns unless they go to a fantasy 16" upgrade.

You'll get a few OP Black players. You'll see LOADS of Missouri too I'd bet. It feels like T9 would be nice but in reality I can see it being even more camp than current Ranked. Lots of powerful long ranged torps, slow and big cruisers also the BBs start to get hyperpowered guns.

Over a large amount of games, a good WR shows ability... It can be padded with Div and seal clubbing but that can be broken down if you so wish.

Hood is huge and fairly lightly armoured. Should have Warspite guns which are okay... Maybe it's soft stats will be buffed but I can see your point!

Only problem I can see is that a gross amount of these will be in game and further mess up the high amount of BBs.

Are WG Staff Q&As even worth watching/reading? Always the same old twisted or deflected answers. Like the "Alabama is fine with it's high citadel" then days later it's already buffed in a patch pre release.

Yes... Hiryu fighters have enough problems chewing through USN planes when fully upgraded. A single T6 fighter might offer cover in name only.

To be fair 4 fires is fairly rare in a cruiser as you'll likely be killed by AP first. Has a comedy arrooooggaahhhh sound play when you're burning that much...

I think BB guns tend to have enough caliber to hurt most things with their HE so IF is a waste of a skill. Even in IJN cruiser 203mm it's not any more effective.
