Hmm true, I think I read something about the Iowa needing a crazy amount of HP just to go a few extra knots... It's probably the limit of how fast a huge capital ship can go through the water as even modern large warships don't go more than about 30 knots.

I found the Belfast unworkable in Ranked and I don't regard myself as a bad player. I'm not elite level but I managed R1 last season in an Atago without the need for smoke or radar. Much preferred the gameplay of the Sims and giving my camping smoking team mates eyes on the enemy. Guess we're not all wired the same way

lol ship peek shooting is thankfully nowhere near as cheesy. Even a DD moves way slower than any tank and the shells travel entire kilometers instead of the tens of meters in Tanks.

The pain when uptiered is real in a CV. Woe to a T6 CV caught up in a hard T8 game. That was me last night and there was literally about 3 ships I could actually attack without getting face rolled. Played a hard T9 game in the Saipan earlier where the other T7 CV went AFK in despair

I'm fine with ships being HP based as the ranges are so extreme and there is no cheese cover shooting as the poor enemy has the extremity of his hull peeking out. Doesn't War Thunder have no players? And I obviously can't buff myself with prem time for free

I look forward to grinding out the 150k or so xp on the Trashkan before i can start the Khaba party. If only WG kept Udaloi where she was it would have made it that much easier...

Iowa/Missouri has the best guns. Well Monty too I guess. NC guns are unique in their extremely slow and looping shell arc. Like Warspite but somehow even crazier. You can learn to love them however. You'll also have to understand the bow tanking meta somewhat as it's not like other USN BBs before.

Katori is fun for a game or so every few months but that's was free unlike Yubari, then again why did you get buy it...

Lol... I'm planning to dabble in Tanks. Won't be buying anything unless I'm 100% sure I'll actually play it. Prem account being linked helps. Is it me or is WoT pretty much cheese? As in its about peeking and shooting the edge of a turret or hull that in reality would be an irrelevant hit?

Isn't Hood absolutely HUGE in comparison? I'm not that big a naval buff but why on earth did Hood displace so much? Isn't it something like 15,000+ tonnes more than the Warspite for essentially the same firepower and about 7 knots more in top speed?

True, it's easier to micro a max of 3/4 squadrons and the CV at the lower tiers. Air Supremacy is available for all these days with the captain changes. I don't think I ever truly cross drop in IJN CVs anymore, i stagger the drops and it seems to work ok.

USN is worst of all worlds for noobs. Balanced lacks coverage if you're still learning. Strike is hard vs any player who can use his fighters. AS is just fail as one good enemy torp run means your 20 mins hard work is utterly wasted.

I've just watched his update too and he makes good points. Although he does well in his division buffed replay () It's almost too similar to the NC to buy, will see how expensive it is and how rich I'm feeling lol Although they've only got a few days to release it as they promised March. T9 would be fine for numbers. The amount of potatoes in T10 I see suggests it'll be fine! Season 4 was T7, Season 5 T8, this season T7 so expect Season 7 to be T8. Less smoke if it's T8 although you will see plenty of Kutuzov with IFHE dominating the weak. Maybe I'll take my Atago out again but I've promised myself I'll do R1 in a BB or CV one day.

This thing really needs EM and the 420 mm then the party can start. I got off to a rocky start with her but doing well with those additions. Reload module for those BB that can accept it. Stack with Adrenaline Rush and clutch harder!!!

My Fletcher build will mirror my Benson one. PM, LS, SI, RL, CE, SE, AR in that order. It's a Ranked build but it's all you need to dominate others.

If you're uptiered you intensify the hunt for cruisers and consider HE spam on those horrible T8 BBs. Altho you can still sting broadside BBs. Don't know if it's RNG or poor armour but I got a 10k dive bomber strike against a Dunker with a USN Indie DB.

Can't be bothered to stats check but all RN Cruisers above and including T6 play similar. There shouldn't be any surprises unless OP has paid money to progress...

I played WoT Blitz recently and it's great fun on a PC but diabolical on a phone, even one as big as my Note 4. Too bad it's Prem time isn't linked to this, which got me thinking... I'd rather spend nothing except for Prem time which I'd have in ships. Just some tanks I can mess around in now and again as the gameplay feels somewhat shallow but ok for a blast. Can someone give me advice on a few vehicles in the regular game that I can knock around and have fun with?

I'm having fun in Tank Destroyers, no bouncing shells with those tanks... If Prem was linked to Blitz it would be great as it's easier to play. WOT shares Prem so its no extra money, although I've already experienced camping artillery
