It needs to be hard to play. You really do not want to see a Click & Do well ship like the Tirpitz or the MM will be brutalised for ever. It essentially looks like a T7 Kongo...

I have used SI since the beginning and in long games I'll often use every single charge of a Prem Heal consumable. It's paid for itself literally hundreds of times for me. I've stopped taking BoS since the captain changes, I find DCP Prem, anti flags and careful BB management usually gets me through but others may differ. I ALWAYS take rudder shift too even on things like Yam I find without it you wait an eternity even for the ship slightly change it's course. -
OP has never had that silly Port Slot offer.... Something like 20 slots for the price of 15!

In some ways I want the Hood to be harder to play so the average kid cannot do well in it as it would help to keep BB numbers manageable. Harder as in far less user friendly than the Tirpitz. I like a BB challenge, although I can see mass whine leading to Hood being strong as WG doesn't want to lose revenue. -
Calibre isn't the be all and end all of BB gun power. Examples I can think of are the Dunkerque that perform essentially as well as 14" guns with 13" and Bayern&Mutsu which guns tend to penetrate worse than others of their calibre. KGV 14" do not worry me.

I used to think having a junk module stopped you getting more in SC but that 100% isn't true lol -
Do you find you can make the Midway perform into the late game? So many games, including top tier are decided in the first few mins by lack of any capping/pushing. If a Hakuryu nukes your DDs early then the game will quite often spiral out of control.

They're worth so little that we all might as well hold onto them. 600k or so is easily earned in an hour or less. -
14" helped kill both Bismarck and Scharnhorst. Arguably they did a lot of the work and are WW2s most successful BB guns in terms of killing other BB...

It could use a rof buff. I've been playing it a bit recently and it's been power crept by the Russians. 6.5s guns are almost cruiser like in reload.

Kaga looks gash... It's going to be party time for any half competent T7 CV and woe Kaga in a hard T9 game as they do happen. Even DD AA is going to scrap away a TB plane or two. But we'll wait for the reviews to come out before judging properly... -
I've only had one game in my Ranger so far and I'm using the stock layout. Strike CV scares me as I hate being sniped and want to give at least some air cover. Ranger reserves are refreshing coming from the Indie. Bigger issue is the arming time as the squadrons are so big.

I'm keen to see RN BB for lots of reasons. They're going to be a mix of modernised WW1 ships and uncomfortable inter war ships, a few fairly modern ships (KGV and Vanguard) with likely paper T9 and T10. Don't get the hate against RN being added but I do worry it'll F the BB balance even harder as interest in Hood is already greater than on any other recent Prem. I mostly play smaller ships these days as they make things happen more than the fatties.

5k doubs for T10 camo is fine as I'll never pay it. Why would I with 140+ credits and being bored by the campy meta? I think it's the worst thing that's happened to top tier. It means folks can play exclusively T10 and never learn to handle the ships as it's not a privilege.

Shira is very nice but as above I wouldn't buy it's camo now, especially as WG have stated it's over performing...

The annoying thing is I bought the 3k camo for Aki as I thought I'd be playing it a lot more in time. Now that time is possibly about to pass. Guess I won't be bothering with Prem camo in the future. Might as well keep it to covert to free xp or even better not donate to Russia at all.

Your guns are a lie. Don't use them unless it's vs a close range DD, finishing off a low hp ship, troll firing to start a fire after your torps have flooded something. You should primarily be trying to torp things. Better to stay concealed than reveal yourself for the sake of 1k damage on a BB.

Learn to micro each torp bomber. You'll be more effective... I used to double them up until I learned otherwise.

The reduced retraining and missions to get the Elite XP is really taking the p!$$. Win a T10 Cruiser or DD game to win 90k Elite XP? Way to exclude a huge portion of the player base... I've got "a few" games under my belt and I've still only got T9 DDs and no I'm not paying for free XP to skip either as I've just spent the last few weeks re-grinding Udaloi to the sum of 85k XP.
