Downside of a lot of T8+ ships. The MM and current standard of Random Battle players make it unplayable sometimes

We have BBs with radar. DDs with Defensive AA. DDs with Radar. And now BBs with Defensive AA... Feel the WG power creep take you over

Lenin has an even lower DPM than Blys but missing a salvo isn't as big a deal as Lenin reloads faster. A Sims can fire two salvos in the time a Blys can fire one.

If anyone is bothered by the Alabama then just get the perm camo for the NC... Probably 90% of the same ship most of the time!

Dammn potatoes, max range torping is speculative and for area denial. If you want those juicy Devastating 50k BB Strikes with torps then you want to be as close as possible. Maybe even just out of detection range.

Can't watch iChase as I'm not at home but he said Alabama pre release buff was a dangerous path too... Personally I'd rather Hood was a challenge to play, I barely play German BBs these days as they're dull and too forgiving with relatively low damage potential.

Not when $$$ is involved. WG changed Alabama citadel faster than Sub_Octavian could say "Micro patch".

Blys biggest issue is being power creeped by Russians. Has almost 150mm reload speed...

It's a long way from WoT still. The peek shooting non critical tips of tanks is utter bull and puts me off investing anymore time into it. Utter cheese gameplay

Also sailing with a BB and smoking them will get them lol killed by a good player. If you're going to smoke friendlies you shouldn't be deploying it in easy torp range. It's a giant TORP ME sign. Even if you spot for them, if you're too close they're not dodging the wall.

I always roll with Steering. However I can understand Damage Control 2. Stats show that Alabama turns no better with the rudder upgrade but I'd still like to see stats on whether it improves your initial turn in as that's the most important thing.

Not smoking your team as DD has nothing to do with no stealth fire surely? Who are all these DD madly firing at everything?!?

Yeah I agree, all those wallet warriors in their 5k camos playing like idiots with no worries about losing credits. I'm not a bad player but I enjoy BB play. However any over T7 are essentially worthless these days as you're totally at the mercy of bad players. I have a Fletcher, Udaloi, Benson/Lo Yang and Atago I can use to push caps in high tier I guess

Trashkan simply isn't as good as Udaloi. As Udaloi can brawl a little whereas Trash it's suicide due to her size and bad turning circle. Only another 100k xp then I'll have Khaba

Played one game earlier. Too soon to make any decisions but the 15km bloom looks down right dumb. Basically it's got the same concealment as my Atago when firing now Someone should go to WG Developers office and fire various naval guns nearby and see what they make of the different noise levels. Not a simulator no but neither should it be down right wtf...

I had a great Fletcher game earlier but that particular boat isn't affected much. It just means you have to be careful when you pull the trigger. A bit like Ranked, let the other DDs shoot you and reveal themselves whilst you slip back into stealth again... Although these changes seem to be the final nail in the high tier meta. Camp eXtreme now...

The complaints have already started. Whilst I dislike Russia bias i see that WG can't win with Hood. Too good and the MM will be ruined as everyone will be using a RN BB. Too bad and there will be mass whine and WG might even lose players.

I can confirm this is true now. Just played with a brain dead Shima who stated "I AM NOT A SCOUT NOW..." Doesn't understand the concept of not clicking the fire button

Just don't install the upgraded FCS Sell it and have the original one on there!

I've played hundreds of Atago games and haven't been citadeled directly bow or stern by a BB that I can remember. Might have been killed by a Yam that way and even without a citadel you'll still take massive damage but not an instant deletion. It's far better than having a side angle where it's simply too risky to try and auto bounce stuff as you can take huge citadels that will one shot you. Atago is still King of T8 cruisers imo, regardless of IFHE Kutuzovs. Can be far more aggressive in Atago rather than just HE spamming from afar...
