10km+, HE spam stuff. If you're being focused you dodge slip into concealment, get into a good spot then start the spam again. The enemy either chases you and your team will shoot them or you get free firing fun. Use torps to hit smoke and area deny, or even launch on those who get too close. If you set a BB on fire, move onto another target until they put it out then HE them again. Spin as many plates of fire as possible. Also if a DD shows itself then drop all else and kill them. You are the DD bullyboy, nothing DD can challenge you if you have good HP. Only Cruisers are really a problem but with smart play they can be killed too. At 12km or so with dodging, a lot of them will have problems hitting you whilst they burn. Khaba is probably the most powerful ship in the game other than Hakuryu. Amazing DPM, extremely difficult to hit, has armour (look at the layout in port, it's BS lol), has heal etc... I keep going on about how strong it is but since I've unlocked it I simply see no need to play anything else T9 or T10 in the meta. It's more OP than Nikolai or Gremy in my eyes.

WG nerfed cap xp awhile back. You forget they hate DDs and want to discourage folk from using them.

There's a post on Reddit that suggests it's because a lot of middle level players have quit leaving only potatoes and experienced folk which leads to land slides.

OP: I've owned the Missouri for a few months and I'd say I'm an experienced BB player but I've barely used her. 21 games which is probably equal to a few a week. It's a luxury ship, don't get it if you have something better to do with the free XP.

Well I stayed alive and got a lot of citadels on brain dead Iowas but that's probably all I did really... And yes, that map is utter trash. Might as well be Ocean as it's SO big it encourages all the potatoes to snipe at 20km

I haven't used Aki since I got I Khaba. Don't see the point of using a weaker imitation that'll meet it's superior in a fair slice of the MM. Make it handle like a Sims! But the speed can be kept as it is...

It's a nice looking port. Finally have a stock port I'll use and won't need to mod in the bathtub or another silly port. Although I see the huge Chinese dragon is official now.

I find Khaba more satisfying than any cruiser. It's just so powerful, mini BB with turbo guns that's extremely difficult to kill in the right hands. It's so good that I doubt I'll play any T9 or T10 BB ever again. My next grind might be RN or RU cruisers to T10 if I can stand the pathetic top tier camp meta.

The problem isn't even losing. It's games being simply un competitive to the point of being worthless to play whichever side you're on. I'd much rather the campers yolo rushed instead...

Lel I enjoy playing the flying disease sometimes. It's just a shame the interface looks like a spreadsheet and it actually suffers fps slow down even though it looks rubbish. Having a 12v12 game in your hands feels pretty good...

Strike Ranger is ok? I can't get over having no fighter and at least Lex has defensive fire. Lex 1000lb bombs really do a number on DDs...

I only ever get this when detonate or get face rolled somehow. It's likely WG's way to troll us. Also I've detonated with the 70% reduction module but not with a flag yet.

I'm debating pushing RN or RU cruiser lines next as both Minotaur and Moskva are excellent ships. Wouldn't go Zao or DM as neither have any "wow" factor that interest me.

The Ultimate Fail was in my Saipan. Got 20 k damage and we got capped in a Domination game in literally 4 mins, plus I came top too. I'm not even sure how that happened but I kept the screenshots.

It's when you try to dodge and you take a massive sideways underwater citadel sometimes. Almost makes dodging in cruisers just as dangerous as being broadside.

Yes, even if you play a cruiser perfectly and dodge like a demon you'll often take a random cit. Tried to Atago earlier and took a 95% one salvo shot when dodging.... I still came top with 40k damage too (lost via triple cap) which is top tier in a nutshell

A capping DD should almost never shoot and is often better off running away into concealment and spotting for the rest of the team... With SF you at least could shoot back a bit but now you might as well remove guns on a lot of DDs now.

T8 is awesome when you're top but when you're bottom it's usually misery. However I did get an amazing 150k Kraken (and I lived) on Tears of the Desert in a Bismarck vs T10s but that's likely due to potatoes and not my ability. The meta and unlocking the Khaba means I touch nothing else at T9&T10 especially not BBs anymore. Simply no point.

Loads of topics on this nowadays. You'll get deniers or "git gud" apologists but top tier is utter trash right now. Very common for triple caps and no efforts towards capping... Stay T7 or under like you've said.

Yes my Atlanta shares the Cleveland captain too. IFHE greatly hikes your anti BB capability. Also Minotaur is the new power in terms of a never-ending bullet stream.

You don't need auto drop to have better anticipation... It certainly cuts down some of the variables but isn't more skilled in any way.
