2 thousand given away in sets of 50 is pretty insignificant, it's not going to push anyone over the top into a Kami R unless they're already grinding an extra-ordinary amount...

I don't find WoW or WoT really taxing on system specs. Atleast not for rich Europeans Why do you feel the need to upgrade? Mind you I had a R9 290 ATI and bought an Nvidia 1070 but all I play these days is ships

The amount of community prizes compared to the players out there is tiny... This is no fix for anyone who actually thinks they will grind out the Kami R.

They haven't changed, you still get the all or nothing derp even if the ship is 100% in the drop radius on a manual drop. Most frustrating...

Iowa/Missouri guns with the accuracy module are extremely accurate after coming from the NC. You can rely on them to get massive damage vs most targets. Both Missouri and Alabama suffer from the nastiness that is high tier MM however Alabama will get that a bit less as it's a tier lower. Personally I have no issue with Missouri's armour however I've got a bit of experience with higher tier USN BB, I can understand if some cannot live with it as you die like a cruiser if you've messed up. Alabama is small for a higher tier BB but you won't really notice this until you start playing her. If you have enough free xp camo and flags then I'd recommend just grinding out Missouri possibly. I'm split between the two but I do own both

Meh just play exactly as how you intended to, don't even think about this event... Whatever you get spend at the end and treat it as a mediocre bonus

Urgh 10 torp hits in 1 game is actually quite hard for a mediocre torp'er like me...

I'm on about 128+, moderately nice guy or just a little above average at carrying

This is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in game. I half expect WG will close me down even though I am not technically naming and shaming. Played a Shira game just now, I'm not an amazing Shira player and it was on the diabolical map that is Tears of the Desert. I skipped B and went to C because I didn't want to try and solo cap it, a Division'ed Flint behind me told me to go in the cap but I refused as I had little idea what was waiting in store as the North cap has better a better field of fire. This didn't wash with the Flint who went into some sort of furious typing rage. Singled out myself and the Pink Benson for throwing the game and proceeded to Team kill anything he could get in range of. Flint player died as the damage feedback sunk him. Yeah we lost hard but oh well, IJN DDs are the last thing I've really yet to learn. Then the guy messaged me this charming little rant. [edited] Only thing I take any sort of offence to is the guy felt he would hard carry on Tears in a T9 game in a Flint. To be so incensed that you would TK and rant on and on Anyone else had similar experiences?

I've taken out only IJN DD today and have played 4 and lost 1 so far. The only loss was in Kami R Even won a Tears of the Desert game in Shira. I think I understand IJN DD a little better now, you have to be extremely aggressive to the point where the other team simply can't ignore you BUT you must also learn how to dodge shells and when to disengage. This can lead to the enemy disrupting their own pushes to chase and shoot you, that's when you can shove torps at them as I do know that torping is best when ships are coming towards you. IJN DD guns DO suck but you MUST still use them I guess too.

I personally believe this too but others disagree and says IJN DDs can still be strong. Should get this moved to DD section and have a proper discussion so everyone can learn and improve...

I'm not bad in the Aki but it's a gunboat and I can handle those. Perversely I can handle USN DDs fairly well too.

I'm sure most of us enjoy this game in moderation. Not an ultra grind for a T5 ship or £7.50p...

Hmm what about the guns then? Esp on the lower tier ones, would you take the rotation booster since they have BB levels of tracking. I'll go sit on YouTube for a bit I guess

Another thing: All the MVP awards aren't actually for anything skillful, they're for the top 100 saddest super grinders... Not for something like best average XP/Damage/Kills etc

I'm finding a similar theme here. It's either all or nothing games, it feels hard to get consistency in IJN torp boats at all... Thing is with the SF nerfs I fire even less with IJN DDs as you get lit up so fast vs any team with a shred of brainpower.

The ships are better yes that is true. However the MM dumps T8 into T10 games with alarming regularity. Whereas T7 is often top tier a lot of the time.

I've always wondered if WG should somehow program in that if you're using your main guns or secondaries (whichever apply) then your AA for those weapons will be disabled until they are idle again. Although I can see that leading to passive play as less skilled players would turtle up and camp even harder...

I'm pretty good with USN DD but I utterly suck with IJN ones, even the Shira In fact I suck so hard with the Shira that someone team killed me earlier It must be something to do with the detection range of the torps as I don't torp drastically different to how I do with USN Botes. I could probably use some advice too!!

I vote Radar! I mean it's so elitist that only 5xRank 1 winners get a radar DD, WG will open it up for anyone with a CC

I hear T8 is a miserable place for MM these days... I'd rather be in a T7 than a T8!
