Now I've looked at Hood's armour pattern in port it looks fine. Not German by any means of the imagination but no huge glaring gaps anywhere and the citadel is kept nice and low. I look forward to when the NDA is lifted...

The citadel looks very Yam like, just without the red and a bit lower in the water.

Get Virgin Media. They're expensive but pretty reliable. Shocking customer service however! -
Fairly sure you'll find a lot of military equipment is similar because folk found the most effective method. 3x3 is a good balance between fire power, protection and weight saving I imagine. I'd rather have a BB that's 3x3 than 5x2 as it'll potentially be more compact and can probably carry more armour. You don't see any single cannon BBs during their hayday do you? Although yes, there could be more variety in game as it's all make believe anyway...

That's exactly how I play USN DDs, seriously if there's a more aggressive other than the hard supporter way then it should be discussed here so everyone might learn something.

Yeah the USN guns are very powerful... Vs other DDs. Maybe the odd harassment salvo but it's not worth risking revealing yourself over a few k damage. There are a lot of predators at the higher tiers who will utterly punish DDs who are revealed. Radar, high calibre AP, 203mm HE. Please share if you've good higher tier gun success in USN DDs rather than saying people need to learn.

Even if Hood is mediocre, it's still a big gun BB that will put the pain on almost anything it might face. Just keen to see what that new campaign is now...

Re buy Fletcher and grind Khaba. Or even just grind Khaba. Guns on any high tier DD other than Russian ones are a death sentence if you dare fire them.

Yes it's 5.3 in game. Buffed down to 4.4 would be nice but I think it's a WG typo

Yes, for a big BB fan I've got no idea why I dislike Yam guns. Monty is actually my favourite T10 BB

Yeah, it would have made more sense if GK was 4x2 and RN got 3x3 or even 3x4. WG trying to correct their own paper mistakes. And if RN T10 is 4x2 then they'll likely have to make the guns extremely powerful to compensate for having the least guns of a top tier BB. Then that would break WGs own promise of Yam having the biggest guns

Blys feels pretty bad now, it's big,fat and has really slow firing guns. I'll have to re spec with EM, no AFT and BFT with AR to up t the rate of fire as the old build sucks now.

If WG nerfed BB I can see the average potato quitting rather than playing something else... You think a mindless guy with 2k battles in BBs is going to bother learning to DD or Cruiser?

WG paper gives them a licence to do anything. I know the FDG was planned but isn't the GK utter fantasy? Which 2 T10 BB are shotguns? As I only find GK actually bad. Monty is accurate and Yam is mediocre to me (even if it's meant to have an OP sigma)

Benson torps are great, don't use them at max range unless you're area denying or torping smoke. 10 of them is enough to land hits on things.

As bad as all the events and missions are, you can also guarantee WG staff performing their usual "damage limitation". I'd get banned for saying how i really feel but have some pity for them as they have to tow the party line even if it is miles from reality... -
I'm not at home but I'd wheel out screenshots of literally hundreds of BB in a queue when German ones came out last August. I started the game playing BBs but i rarely play them now as I find other classes more challenging. I'll be playing RN BBs however...

I got the one the week before accidentally in Khaba because she's an unstoppable juggernaut... 10 torp hits really did depend on other's mistakes as I won dozens of DD games last week but not enough torp strikes. Got 8 hits 3 times, in Benson, Shino and Shira... -
About once a month at around midnight my ISP disconnects me. It can't be predicted and sometimes it won't happen for months. It comes back pretty quickly but I've died in the downtime on occasion. The 0 score AFK players get is enough...

All this talk is irrelevant. RN BB will likely arrive this Summer and the BB population will steamroll everything in it's path
