I'm playing a bit of WoT now but I'm not spending a penny and I intend to stop at T5. Got a Sherman so far and a smattering of T4, near the KV 1 and Stug 3 (I don't understand Hetzer deep gun yet) But yes don't look at grinding for rewards, they're almost always sucky. Play what you want to play and nothing else. I don't even grind for containers anymore as it'll be rubbish modules in any SC I might get. I use Prem time but everything else I'll grind at my own pace on principle now.

Any Bismarck camos are near useless now as Tirp is now a high earning Bismarck. In fact if you were lucky enough to grind the Xmas Convoy Tirp camo you've got one of the best Free XP farmers in game.

Never shoot back at Teamkillers. The game does a fairly good job at stopping trolls ruining a game via TK.

I've started to dabble with the Atlanta again as I'm training myself to use high tier RN Cruisers with radar instead of smoke (I feel it's far more effective). There was some Reddit guy who posted a picture map guide on where to camp on all the different maps. Was very useful, i can probably find and re post it if folks want.

T10 camo has contributed to the destruction of high tier MM. It means bad players can play at the highest tier all day without suffering any economic loss... The thing I don't understand is folk who get T9 Prem camp lol WGs handling of their own game even puts me off from grinding. I'm currently at the Edinburgh and looking to get into a Minotaur however I get that nasty feeling they will nerf Mino probably the same day I unlock her

When i play CV I always stats check the opposition flat top. Sadly the majority are utter Scrubs in the BAD rating. It's no practice for that rare occasion where you face a competent CV...

I am British, Leander is fine. Get the Fiji and enjoy RN Cruisers even more...

WG are rolling in cash, WoT is still one of the highest earning F2P games. No need to feel sorry for them at all, their business model is one that earns them a lot of money. I'm sure they could actually sell all the premium vehicles at half the price they list them at and still make a killing...

The way things are at the moment with WG and their changes has essentially lead to me refusing to free XP anything. I want Minotaur and Moskva one day but I'm not spending a penny towards either as WG could easily get out the nerf bat. I felt pretty trolled when WG split the RU DD branch and basically took away 85k XP of grinding from my Udaloi, I free XP'ed a lot of that and it was simply taken away and replaced with a Trashkan

Every PC needs an SSD now. The load times are stunning. I used to get home and have to do stuff whist PC was booting. Now I barely have a chance to pour a drink

I'll likely always get Prem time whilst I'm still playing but I simply refuse to buy Doubloons or Permanent Camos as WG mess around with balance and ship changes without proper compensation. Prem Ships really depend if you want that actual ship. I've only ever bought the ship itself and not all the fluff that the more expensive packages come with.

If you want DD power then get a Khaba and farm until you're bored. I haven't had mine too long and I've never used anything as OP. I include ships like the Nikolai and Gremy in that. As a whole I feel the game is slowly lurching in the wrong direction. Whether it's because of bad balancing or poor player base i can't say for sure, it's likely a mixture of both. I'm on a little less recently and even if RN BB come I'm still a bit apprehensive as so many games are lost to uncompetitive teams. In fact it's so bad i play a bit of WoT now

I hope you didn't get dual 1080 to play Ships only I feel silly enough getting a single 1070 for it as even mine is overkill. Do you feel bad the 1080 Ti is out now?

Gaming laptops can be a difficult one actually. I spent a long time browsing. You'll see confusingly named gfx and cpu that sound good but actually suck... This was useful to me https://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html I wouldn't even consider anything outside of the top 100 gfx cards on that list as they're going to be pretty bad. Get a desktop if you have the room.

I've got some Clevo power laptop with an i7 cpu it out punches my desktop i5 on benchmarks. However desktop i5 performs better in games. Whether that's because I've got a 1070 in my Desktop vs a Xfire 7950 setup or the CPUs I'm none too sure...

Yeah, DDs could be two sub classes as you've got the stealth ones and the DPM machines. Although Khaba stands alone. It should be re classed and put into MM as a Cruiser

At this point I'm going to mention Khaba is God of all DDs. As long as a better concealed DD can spot for you and the other team has no Khaba then the chances of victory dramatically increase.

Whoever has more skilled DDs will normally win. You can usually predict the winning side after the first DD slap fight.

Sounds about right... My R9 290 kept crashing in Windows/low demand stuff. Took me over a year to fix, the variable voltage was wrong. Had to force it's voltage higher. I'd only ever buy Nvidia again, I would rather pay more for the same performance.
