The orbit thing is somewhat annoying yes as you can't leave a fighter to cover friendlies like a float plane as they wander miles out... CV is about lots of manual micro control anyway.

The reborn TirpMarck is a thing of power now. It essentially makes Bismarck redundant. Hydro is meh as if you're brawling that close up then you're going to be eating torps with better detection or not and realistically you're not spotting DDs with hydro anyway.

WoT MM is about to take a pretty big change. It'll record maps and your MM even if you change vehicles and balance the tiers so you don't get lol bottom tier vs +2. So its certainly possible, maybe in time it'll find it's way here...

Meh, so many topics about this. Just play as much as you want to and forget about the poor prizes... Don't complain too hard or you'll wake the apologists who will say "blah blah all free prizes, be happy for what you're given."

It's been this way for a long time, atleast a year when the Tirpitz was first sold outside of a money grabbing bundle (Easter 2016 I think?) Basically, if you're a T8 ship expect to fight and deal with T10. Being a T8 BB is "probably" the hardest deal as Cruisers need to deal with being instant deleted whatever the tier and DDs can just hide in concealment. No sympathy here since too many BBs is slowly strangling the game Also I loled hard at the Stalin/Sub_Octavian comparison

I saw Jethro too, last night in my Edinburgh. On opposite sides, he was in a very short lived Gearing so not the finest of games. He got a Flesh Wound kill however

WG will never implement this either, in fact in WoT they're going to multi use consumables from the original one shot packages...

Being able to husband your repair parties is a skill... It means you know how hard to tank and when to bug out to rest. If you mean DCP then again, knowing when to pop it is a skill. Not a simulator etc

From looking at the armour pattern of Hood Vs Warspite. Hood appears to be better protected as it doesn't have those weird jutting out bits of citadel at the front and rear like the Warspite has. Looking at Hood now it almost looks like a T7 stock ship, WG should allow for a rebuild and ignore the history nerds

It's getting the the point where you HAVE to play a capping DD or something that can support them at caps. Or you play in a competent 3 man Division or Random Battles are simply unplayable. Things like long range cruisers and BB are almost pointless if your DDs allow all caps to go un-contested I'm starting to dabble in WoT, atleast games in Tanks literally end within minutes...

That's because the shell has penetrated your citadel under the water. It's the downside of trying to angle and dodge. Sometimes a stay shell will utterly devastate you. Not much advice I can offer sadly except... Deal with it

lol... Triple cap games in the first 5 mins where your DD make no attempt to even contest caps (they purposely sail around it) and have no idea anything is wrong when the map is entirely red? I used to enjoy playing this game as BB but it's gone way too far now, it's DD and certain cruisers (or CV) or you have no influence into how a lot of games go.

Oh dear... That was an utterly awful game on my side of things. We had a Shima that basically avoided all the caps at the start and went straight for your team, when quizzed about it the dribbling moron said "I'm spotting" then "I'm a torp boat what do you expect me to do?!" Caps became 3 vs 1 and the rest was history. Waxx you should have seen the pov from my side when all 6 of my front guns failed to land anywhere near you Atleast I got the Moskva behind you but that's about the only good thing that game. The Shima potato had the cheek to message me after the game and stats compare even though they were blocked. Games like that make this game feel utterly pointless and a waste of time and money. I don't play as much as I used to anyway and nowadays I try only to use "stronger" ships.

Yeah, Britain was the only nation who tried to go to a lower BB calibre with the KGV and used the 15" WW1 gun beyond WW2 but arguably the 14" KGV cannon went a long way into neutralizing those German BB

I picked RN Cruisers over RU Cruisers for my next T10 grind. Mostly as the way up is more action packed and fun. I didn't feel like getting my citadel filled in from 16km whilst in a paper hull cruiser British low tier Medium Tanks in WoT are a bit sucky as they appear to literally have no armour...

I half expect WG to do this and they'll think they're doing us all a favour... I'll decide what to spend my coins on when the events over. Possibly just camo to help my grind for some new ship lines.

T8,T9 and T10 have a lot of awful games. Oversaturated with BBs and very little action. Call it tactical if you like but the amount of games where I see teams never contest a cap and snipe their way to a loss wouldn't suggest any sort of skilful play... I'm grinding towards Minotaur because it's an Atlanta on steroids. I did want a Moskva too but the ships beneath it seem to explode a lot. I bash top tier play but it can still be fun as long as you don't play BB and division up in smaller ships.

They're an utter waste to sell... Just use them on ships that don't care about concealment. I grinded a Missouri in a few months with the NY camo.

Anshan is basically a weak Gremy. Nice enough but I hardly play mine. WG discounted it the day after I bought it too

I intend to man up and use radar instead of smoke when I get into a Minotaur. I'm already playing the Edinburgh that way. I've played on PT with this build. Plays like a monstrously powered up Atlanta.
