Fail topic... I got into this game playing BBs. However I've hit Rank 1 in a DD and a Cruiser. Nowadays I only play BB occasionally. In fact I've probably only played my Missouri and Alabama a handful of times. I'm even thinking I might not buy Hood Problem you have is BBs cannot do a huge deal to contest caps and a lot of kids assume BBs should snipe and rain fire from long range like actual naval combat which lasts hours and not 20 mins. Then these same kids wonder why their team get triple capped in Domination and their WR is 40%.

My record apparently is 4493xp in an Atago... But I've only seen beyond 2500 myself once in the last few months. This week's missions are as easy as it gets, shouldn't be too hard on a Shokaku or Hiryu in a Standard Battle.

In isolation Zumo isn't bad but it's the size of a Yam and steers as badly but without the Death Star guns. Plus you'll see T10 BBs almost every game which outclass you. However it does teach you to Yam and is a necessary part of someone's BB education. I don't regret playing it but I wouldn't rebuy.

Don't underestimate the difference between Khaba guns and Trashkan ones. The velocity difference means a lot at longer distances. You can easily paint things with the Khaba guns when Trash ones will derp. I speak from experience as having suffered a 100k xp+ grind in the Trash. Ogn looks interesting on paper but I have both better torp boats and better gun boats. I'm still stock too so woe getting a hard T10 in the MM

I'm literally on my 3rd or 4th SC in a row with the junk Defensive Fire AA module. Between containers and that idiotic Elemental Event I've reduced the amount I play other than daily bonus XP for things I'm grinding.

If you carry on that way you're doing well. T8 almost always bottom tier and a BB can't really push caps or change a game other than hoping they kill the right ship. Push too hard and you'll get HE focused and torped as no other big ship has the courage to go in...

Do you really need RDF with radar equipped? You're basically a giant Belfast. Anything that spots you can be radar spotted. No DD is going to come near you after you nuke their buddy with silver rain. Does it really matter of the DDs are further than that from you? The range is enough to occupy a cap.

Apparently WoT Blitz (fail game), is WG's most played game. Lots of the world still use fairly poor PCs. WoT has a HD and SD gfx package. Rich Europeans are here to be milked for money

Fletcher is awesome. Fires one of the best fish in the game. 10 torp spread. Excellent handling, speed, has Defensive AA so you can scare off flying diseases. It's the perfect "true" DD as although Khaba is King of its kind, it's a Russian Drugs cheat If you struggle in Fletcher it's user error.

It actually makes a perverse sense to use HE in lower tier BB most of the time. As herp derp dispersion ruins the AP party a lot but HE still gives good fire chance and a lot of guys down there don't use Prem DCP so you'll get extra crispy results. I'll often use HE in Bismarck/Tirp and Scharn at longer ranges too. BBs are about AP but HE can have it's uses. Don't dismiss HE as noob ammo.

Ah that's what I'm doing wrong lol, I'm ruthless now and work to kill/cap and win as quickly as possible. I instinctively allow smaller ships to finish stricken ships when I'm BB. WR and PR is all I care about these days. Guess no cool Churchill buff camo for me...

The guns on the Myogi are trash, pure and simple. Doesn't take a huge amount of time to grind. Get into a Kongo via free XP or grinding and never look back.

Since I stopped playing BB as my main I've found my WR and PR have increased...

I got 2552 base xp just now. Yet I haven't done the 4th mission. Feeling utterly trolled by my own erratic skill

Re-specced as a DD hunter. After all the DDs are dead you can kill other stuff too still

Hopefully WG won't touch the higher tier RN Cruisers anyway. Neptune and Minotaur both have huge citadels that are not protected at all. CVs at higher tiers are better armoured I think I've soloed a smoke camping Neptune in a Edinburgh with radar, got him by surprise and did 10k+ per salvo with my own sAP. Dead before he could react properly. Minotaur will also take massive AP damage, if it's guns are not on a Khaba at close range it'll probably die before it can answer back. Also I'm sure plenty of BBs out there can vouch for devastating strikes vs RN cruisers.

That is why from T8 onwards you man up and take radar instead of smoke.... Then DDs and lesser skilled RN cruiser players struggle against you.

I made the decision to push for Minotaur... Dammn well hope they're not nerfed. Would be typical WG however just as I get there
