Some torp boat in Blys but I wouldn't no. Shell speed on Blys is fine, I spam HE exclusively as I feel my main task is to start fire on things.

If you're being focused by half a team you're going to take damage eventually yes but that's when you stop firing and run. You should be fighting with your team anyway who will help you. Blys is not slow, it's top 3 of fastest T7 ships. Clears 40 knots easily... Yes it's a big ship for a DD but that's what the rudder module is for. The only thing I dislike about Blys is the low rate of fire but that's why I spend points buffing it. If you've played a lot of RU gunboat you'll find Blys completely fine in it's current form. Some even use it as a torp boat...

If you fire intelligently at the old stealth fire ranges you'll find yourself being almost impossible to hit. You might even draw fire and help your team as the enemy will desperately be trying to shoot you. Might want to save your speed boost for combat too. You'll still outspot anything except for some DD. Engage your brain before clicking fire as you don't want to give the game away and get focused down. Of course my friendly advice is for a long range gunboat build which I can imagine is how you want to play. Get PT, LS, BFT (SE or DE also valid), AFT then back down for skills like AR, whichever of the trio of level 3 skills you didn't take. I'd argue you don't need SI as you rely on speed and rudder to survive as you will be shooting a lot. Go and play instead of lamenting on easymode SF being gone.

Maybe the game is dying? I haven't paid attention to peak players in the evenings but it can't be more than about 25k to 30k? WoT has two EU servers and easily hits a combined total of 90k+... WG intensifying the money grab as they can't attract new players?

It's fair if someone actually needs some of the stuff in the bundles but to deliberately stagger by starting with the most expensive bundle is a cynical, greedy money grab. Nothing less. What stops all bundles being released together other than greed? Yes, you don't "need" the Hood to grind the campaign but there doesn't even seem to be amazing rewards. Bismarck has been power crept out by the reborn Tirptiz now anyway. It's poor WG, very poor. It's why I play your products now and think how can I spend the least as you constantly exploit your customers.

Well yes, I finished the campaign on the PT without Hood but they're halving the drops so it won't be as easy. Only thing I can really say RE this money grab is anyone who disagrees and still wants the Hood should WAIT. It's only a BB and will play like any other except with OP point blank AA. Wait long enough and it'll be on a weekend doubloon discount...

It should be achievable in an hour or so of play for a competent DD player. Maybe a bit more time for some lucky MM. With all the moronic German BBs on now this weekend is a good a time as any.

Ishi is far more competent yes, but it would be OP in it's current form as a tech tree ship. The problem I have with it is that I own the Nikolai. That thing is so far above other T4 that it's silly. It's like having an Arizona in T4 games, with better turret angles...

I own both and since the Tirp buff I have hardly taken the Bis out. In terms of gameplay they're almost identical now except for Tirp having nukes on-board (torps). Hydro is meh as you should know when you're being torped and a T8 BB is unlikely to dodge that many fish even with prior warning.

With enough practice, most BB guns can be turned on DDs who reveal themselves. Played an Alabama game this morning and was reliably hitting DDs at about 10km. Mind you that's partly because those DDs didn't dodge as soon as they were targeted. I'd actually recommend either taking PT or WASD as soon as you're spotted in any DD nowadays.

If you have chosen to go AFT then you should really stay at longer ranges, a DD that's awake and dodging is very hard to hit at 12km and can actually draw fire for the rest of the fleet.

I purposely un-subscribed from Jingles after the Xmas Convoy silence as when you had American YouTubers saying essentially "we feel for you bro" it made his silence feel that much more deafening. Also I don't find his laughing at every citadel strike all that amusing anymore...

How can anyone play that many games in one ship and not get bored... Seriously, with that many games it's possible to grind out multiple lines, hit Rank 1 a number of times and see almost everything this game has to offer. Which I've more or less done with less games in fact. I guess Gremy clubbing isn't as bad as T1 clubbing but I've got both Gremy and Nikolai but I barely play them except once in awhile to laugh at the poor folk who either didn't buy when they were sold or were not rich/lucky last Xmas with the boxes.

I'd rather WG re worked the MM. Although the WOT revision may not work here. WoT now uses a 3 top tier, 5 mid tier and 7 bottom tier mirrored MM. It'll condense into 2 or even 1 tier if there are a lot of players. That model would fail here I feel however.

Long range HE spamming is basically how RU Cruisers work... Play RN if you want to get closer.

No but they don't share a common arena whereas as the players here do...
