Tiger 131 is out finally! Historically modelled Tiger I tank!!

This is on the BBC website and has a short interview of a British Army Sniper with PTSD. Considering he's killed and most folk here haven't (hopefully), what he says about seeing the faces of who he's killed somewhat sobering... Still not everyone has the same respect for living things. And you won't really know until you're in that situation.

Artys really do have their place, you will thank them later on. They are the biggest threat to Heavy Tanks who often have to park on the front line or shuffle/side scrape whilst the enemy knows where they are. Oh you're quite a bit behind... I thought you were nearing T5 for some reason. Mediums are the hardest class to play IMO, they lack the speed, concealment and spotting that Light Tanks have but lack the overall armour and firepower a Heavy Tank brings to the battle.They are there to support Heavy Tanks whilst they reload or to flank static camp fests. I'm trying to get my head around them right now in fact... Personally I say push on. As its only T4 onwards where you start to see the full spectrum of vehicles. Then again you "really" don't want to be in a T6 game as a T4 tank with no upgrades and little experience. It's pretty brutal... The pace of WoT is what I enjoy. You can play 2, 3 or even more WoT games in the time one WoWs game can be played Have you any online shooter gaming experience? If so I can see WoT being a pretty big shock in terms of speed.

These missions went smelly again last week. WG realised they were too generous as we had a run of fair missions... Back to their miserly ways

I intend to hit R1 with a BB. Although I said that with Bismarck and Gnesi in previous seasons... Eventually used Atago and Sims. Lack of any radar and decent smokes (e.g the USN DD this time isn't amazing) It might lead to a change in dynamic. As for BB choices, I can only see Mutsu, Arizona and Warspite as properly viable due to their superior accuracy and power. Every salvo may count and you can't afford derp if it's a clutch.. I want to use Dunkerque but it may fail due to relatively weak firepower and armour. From past experiences you only really need to hold one cap then fight it out. Especially as WG took out 3 cap maps.

Yes... I would happily lend out ships as I only really play 25% of what's in my port. Hopefully there will be slot discounts, I think you can win some in personal campaigns but I'm nowhere near those missions yet. I like arty, it has a place in the game to stop campers. Games without it are worse as a high armour HT will find a hull down spot and camp you forever... How I laughed at the T8 game in my Rudy where a Prem T8 RU Defender tank picked the mid point up a hill and started raining death. For anyone who doesn't know a Defender is a limited edition Prem tank that has insane armour. No one left could pen it even with gold

The one that got him banned (I think) was the best. When he uploaded a replay of him Team Killing in an RN Cruiser and trying to justify it.

I'm sure I'll get bored of it at some stage as I don't want to go high tier. Set a target of triple MoE on something but that might be a bit much WG are about to nerf the IO Exp which is one of my favs, taking the 10cm gun away rather than tweaking it.... Tiger 131 a T6 historically accurate, well as much as WoT allows is coming this weekend at TankFest. I'll probably get the wallet out for that.

I found him amusing, as he used to over think glitches and post cr@p like "LULBUCKFLYING'S X FILES", he also was insistent that Strike Ranger in Ranked was the King of all Ships despite what unicums and otherwise told him

I last saw him TKing someone in his Trashkan for utterly no reason, right at the start without anything being said... I think i made some snide comment about his poor CV choices but he never spoke at all. Although this is getting near a name and shame

I'm out of garage slots and I'm too tight to pay for new ones!!! I know what WG can do to their vehicles I actually have to defend Tanks a bit, yes it's essentially a tactical 3rd person shooter and needs twitch reflexes over actual tactics. It could be any setting really as the WW2 ish era tanks are probably no where near realistic other than the models. There's a huge amount of complaining on the WoT forum that T8 MM is completely FUBAR, more so than on here. Which is why I plan to stay T5 and maybe T6 for a long time, things can pen each other relatively fairly and there's a good array of skill levels to play against too. Also you forgot knowing maps too! I'm still enjoying it for the time being but I enjoy both games, WoT as a low cost bit of fun as I've spent a fraction of what I've spent here and I make a conscious effort of trying not to use my CC.

Part of me wishes I bought the Bromwell but I had already got Rudy, Thunderbolt and LS2 so I left it. Delicious P2W crew, like buying a 15+ point Captain here. I'll get it one day maybe or I'll get the Tech Tree one if I win more garage slots.

Oh I'm not exclusively gold, I'm aware of the cost of ammo and tend to load vs HT that I know I won't easily pen. I'll often use gold on something like a Rudy to drill T7+ HT even if it's ftom a flank or I have sight of the lower glacis, no point risking a bounce from RNG when a miss might get me killed... Tanks is as campy as Ships sometimes, just sat there waiting for someone to move lol

Some YouTubers were saying how good the Kirov was prior to RU Cruisers being released. I was bitterly disappointed too as it's just too squishy to do anything with. Lo Yang is just a Chinese Benson, should be totally inoffensive lol... Love Dunker personally but I can see how it's an acquired taste as you're stuffed if you over commit and it's easily done due to her speed.

Good to see there are others that dislike the Yam, I find her fat and slow witted. Everyone will focus the hell out of you as they are terrified of 18" guns... Also big up to the Monty lovers, the best T10 BB and better now because of the buffs In fact IJN BBs disappoint after the Amagi IMO

It's strange as I'm pretty effective with 57 mm, it's accurate further out than the 85mm and you can be a bully as top tier still. Vs higher tiers you can't really go first anyway. But both guns work well, it would just be too boring to have the same 85 mm on two T5 Heavies. Since I've made enough credits I've steadily increased my gold use. Some tanks I'm using 25%+ and I finish even high damage games in loss but I can take that as other tanks name it back. Gold is positive for keeping mid tier stuff relevant, don't know about higher tiers yet however.

It'll likely go live the weekend immediately after the patch as it usually does. They need to release the Gallant first tho...

Maybe AS Ryujo is my time... I really want R1 in either a BB or a CV. Considering I re-bought one for PvE and shoved a 10 point captain in her, I'm ready to roll.

I'm half expecting WG to say it's balanced in its current form as Enterprise planes are T7 in the hardest MM...

I'd love to see a late war Kongo class BB as would a lot of players out there. Seems like WG doesn't care too much however Although personally I find the Dunkerque a spiritual successor to the Kongo, has that delicious squishy Battlecruiser vibe at mid tiers anyway...

The disparity between a good and a bad CV is obscene. It's what puts me off learning them properly. You can do well all day vs others but a unicum comes along and you're farmed with a feeling you haven't learned anything...

Yeah, Kaga is horrifically balanced I think. OP vs potatoes but weak and laughable vs folk who've come with AA+ can sail with other ships. Enterprise looks very similar, WG's answer to the CV issue clearly

Actually it's the worse possible counter to the BB infestation as it's behind a Paywall...

lel... That drop circle too exactly BB shaped. Looks like another Kaga but worse. E.g excellent vs potatoes and poor players but fails bad vs any enemy CV+enemy ships with decent AA.

Grind it, sell it and don't look back. Low tier BB are almost unplayable when you've gone higher. Only the Prem ones are any good down there. Can't see WG caring much, besides you can be out a Myogi in a few days easily. I agree it's a pretty cool looking ship...
