T9 Ranked as others have said would be a complete Fletcher fest with Missouri as backup. As an all round DD that is meant to do its role of capping, torping and support Fletcher is arguably the best in the game.

I've taken a momentary dip into the lower leagues as I don't think the Farra or the Shino are my tastes. Tried Anshan and Leander but I've got a feeling I'll just go back to Farra because of it's team play potential...

The WoWS Summer Sale beats the Tanks one. Theirs consist of T8 only Tanks. Going by all the whine, it's also only ones that have suffered power creep...

Strong Russian ship... Very effective if a bit boring as it's a long range HE spammer. You'll seldom get close enough to torp anything, smoke or not. Personally I still like my Atago more.

I really have no idea how anyone plays games on a mobile phone touch screen... I'm a pretty big gamer but I simply can't enjoy stuff with a touch screen. Madness!!!

Probably because they play on a mouse and keyboard on a PC. It's easy then as I don't think it's anywhere near as complicated as WoT desktop and you can cheese shoot hatches and tips of tanks with ease. It feels extremely clumsy on a phone and mine's a massive Note 4...

Lel... Revolution clearly comes at a high price. 35k base is idiotic I agree, might be ok if it was with all ships but just French basically leaves you with a bunch of cruisers or a squishy Battlecruiser for 30+ games for the average player. Meanwhile WoT EU are giving away a port slot tomorrow for finishing top 10 in ONE game. Plus they are giving everyone a T6 Prem Tank for finishing 13 out of 16 (I think) daily missions which are simple things like damage 5 tanks or gather 1500xp. Basically something everyone can do in minutes of grinding...

I might install it for lols but I'll be unlikely to play it. I wanted to play a Tank game and tried Blitz initially but it's pretty hard to play on a phone and on a PC it felt stupid as the gfx were so bad. It's pointless to play on a phone when others use PCs and have access to proper controls. So I went all the way and got into WoT. Plus WoT has it's own Prem Acc where as Tanks, Ships and Planes share Prem time. I see Ships Blitz doing the same. I can also see WoWS Blitz doing really well as a lot of the world still runs cheap @$$ PCs without multi core Intel CPUs and high end Nvidia cards. It'll attract those PC users I imagine.

It's a nice ship for Random Battles. Whatever the MM as the sheer speed of her can keep you relatively safe. Please don't use it in Ranked. Unless you like watching 15"+ guns constantly overmatch your nose. Half price doubloons are meh if you've got nothing to spend them on.

It's very easy to run out of planes unless you are using some sort of high tier USN CV. You can't afford a whole lot of mistakes, especially as there are a lot of 7km+ super AA umbrellas out there. Higher tier CV is basically spotting, picking off lone ships and waiting for HE spam to g1mp enemy AA enough to be bombed. CV are unbalanced yes as the skill floor is really high, a bad CV vs a good CV is GG for the potato. They will get farmed into Clear Sky and take their team with them. Plus the interface is like a spread sheet so is boring as hell to look at

There hasn't been anywhere near as much interest for a line other than RN BB if the forum whine is anything to go by but meh. Whether WG will be willing to have massive amounts of paper designs like in WoT is another matter too. I'm personally far more keen to see how they'll develop the game and balance things rather than adding specific lines.

I think they will, RN BB is peak Warships in my own view. They really need to think of a way forward after. Or they'll take the money and run... I wasn't as keen as I was on RN BB now than what I was a year ago Still only my opinion...

WG won't ever rectify this as at heart this is a casual game and isn't designed as a balanced game where pros can show off their skills. WoT adds twitch reactions but I believe WG fail at trying to promote WoT as an Esport.

BB are not kings of Ranked. Guess they dominate Random Battles as there is zero incentive to learn how to play properly there. As much as I like BB I don't enjoy playing them that much anymore. There is only so much you can do with a big fat thing with a 30s rng scatter gun.

Isn't that the case for BB play in general? Playing 1 handed whilst checking Facebook on your phone or eating?

Simultaneous DD whine threads for buffs and nerfs lol... The way I see it, Ships is inherently flawed in terms of game balance and I don't think it can be corrected. DDs and CVs are the most powerful classes but their skill ceiling is really high. You'll never nerf spotting, stealth and the ability to delete stuff from complete safety. BB have a ceiling due to RNG, long reload and being fat&slow. Cruisers are mostly fine for those with a brain and fire discipline. But this is a casual game so it's fine most of the time. Can't take professional gaming in this seriously at all as a result.

meh you're not missing that much. Yeah it's obscenely powerful in the right hands but I can't play more than 1 or 2 games in mine as it's just another slow BB, albeit with OP armour and guns.

The most op thing ever is the navigator mod. It helps you BB far better... Torp lead thing is nice too I guess.

That's why as a DD you choose who and where to smoke. You can get your own team killed with bad smoke and cherry pick who deserves to have it. The less choice you give your team the better they'll do. DDs are just extraordinarily influential in Ranked...

Ppl complain about DD nerfs but the Ranked meta will likely always heavily favour DDs. They're slightly weaker at T6 as at T7 & T8 you have monsters like the Sims and Benson out there...

No there is definitely a need for BB. I just can't handle placing my game in another's hands as if your DD are bad then you lose basically. I'd rather be the player holding the keys...

I've found the same thing with T8 Ranked top. BB are excellent until the top league then I find the meta makes them difficult to play. As DD you facilitate teamplay and protect your team. That's way more important than being able to do RNG damage every 30s. I might just be wired to play DDs however...
