WoT has Marks of Excellence on tanks. No idea if real warships had them as no one would actually see them. Plus being a crew of potentially 1,000+ means it's far more of a team effort than a fighter ace or tanker. I imagine the chefs or the guys downstairs in the engine room wouldn't feel the same way about a battle as a main battery gunner or bridge staff.

Fortunately I'm really liking Gallant in Ranked so plenty of boxes here... It feels a bit Sims like but with very hard hitting torps that you can launch in OP singles. -
I'm not voting until I see one of OPs drawings I think the game is going to be grindy whatever way you try to tweak it and it should be to an extent. I'm mildly annoyed I couldn't use the Anshan in Ranked as I only had an 11 point captain however...

The worst ones are the high skilled players who expect you support them and blame the team/stats point when it goes wrong. The common potato I can live with as they don't know any better... -
50k Free XP is an excellent SC... The modules should give us the option to pick as then we could all take Speed Boost or something rather than pointless stuff.

I've bought a Gallant and I'm using it as a T7 Sims in Ranked to protect my team and kill/spot their DDs. Ranked is nearly unplayable as a DD without RPF as it lets you shut down those stupid solo flanker DDs and gets your team the edge.

I was saying that for ages to troll WG but it seems true now yes. As WG said no Prem CV until they fix CVs, the controls got given a right click and the planes turn a bit differently and WG think it's fine now. My main issue is CV play is utterly dull to look at but still needs a supercomputer to run at higher tiers. Appalling optimization...

If your PC can handle it then just alt tab whilst loading and check your favourite stats site.

I only check CVs in Ranked and people who really go overboard against me or their team. Generally it's the try hard unicum folk who stats compare. Decent skill but no social skills... I've had a few call me out in after game messages. I either call them a child and tell them to get over themselves or I'll wind them up until they ignore me if I'm really bored.

It's clear WG do not play their own game beyond the odd live web stream. Getting teamplay with smoke is hard enough as it is without nerfing successful smokes. Just look at how hard it is to get teamwork in Ranked... -
WG were never going to make the July date, they are still making changes and trying to balance. Would rather Nelson was a tech tree ship but WG didn't make enough money from Hood and need to pay for RN BB development somehow... I believe current Conqueror will get the choice of 4x3 16" or 4x2 18" so it'll be ok.

Who relies on Khaba torps... They could remove them totally for all I care, would help suspend the belief that an armoured ship can outrun torps lol I know the T&Cs say WG can make changes whenever they want but I'm still hugely salty for the RU DD tree split (lost out a lot of Udaloi grinding as it was reduced to Hull A and I was forced to relive the nightmare that is Trashkan albeit buffed) and buying Aki camo to see it nerf slapped. Only solution is simply not to buy from WG or use free XP unless it's for BBs or a clearly weak class... No one is telling you to buy anything, especially given WG's record. -
The First Blood and Kraken buffs are silly, WG trying to make the game more Call of Duty like. Why not have care packages and a nuclear strike order when you get 6 kills or something I can understand why WG want to change the smoke meta as it makes Ranked a very specific game mode but it's a massive nerf to DDs and Cruisers otherwise as Cruisers especially need smokes to do any sort of damage without lol citadel. Unless WG want to make more sensible high tier maps with more island cover, reinstate stealth fire or even a blanket Cruiser concealment buff and BB concealment nerf in the other direction?

Russian cruisers benefit from IFHE, you don't need a dedicated captain... Maybe ask WG for a refund?

BBs actually derp hard at really close range, even the best of them. Mostly as the ship itself is so large although Dunker guns are pretty close together...

Funny topic. MK is a boring long range HE spammer but it's very effective... Get PT as first skill, think carefully about when you fire. E.g don't keep spamming shells and sailing straight when the PT counter says 5. Has hug velocity guns so you should be able to hit whatever you want to hit at long range. Imo use smoke as your safety net if WASD fails you. Oh and you might want to spec IFHE...

Logical for who? WG's bank balance? It made sense to sit at T7 Tech Tree like Nagato and Colorado as it fits a similar design. Only thing to be thankful for is RN will get a fast tech tree BB before T8...

Yes... There are ships I'd have taken into Ranked if the captains were high enough. Similar principle goes with certain Prem ships. In short, Ranked and this game is unbalanced. I doubt it'll ever be truly fair or not needing money to give you advantages.
